I had My Dog Sarge in Boarding here from 09-17-25 (Evening) and I picked up on 09-20-25, NEVER AGAIN! My dog sarge is on a Very strict feeding schedule with very expensive dog food! I took the right amount of food for him to eat 2x a day for the entire stay! Once on the 17th -dinner Twice on the 18th - breakfast and dinner Twice on the 19th- breakfast and dinner Once one the 20th- just breakfast I dropped off just enough food (measurements) for 7 feedings I picked him up to his food container full!!! He only ate 2 servings out of a bag a food I dropped off I brought him home and he severe diarrhea! What is going on here they are going to kill our pets! Do not use these people for boarding

A properly groomed golden--this is NOT what they did, they did the opposite.

DANGEROUS GROOMING PRACTICES. This place shaves dogs such as golden retrievers who have double coats. This is a dangerous practice because double coats protect dogs from the elements and allow them to properly regulate their temperature. Shaving a dog with a double coat directly impacts their ability to cool down when they are hot, and stay warm when they are cold. They have done this to us TWICE now without our permission. We specifically ask for bathing, nail trim, and tooth brushing, and we DO NOT AUTHORIZE any hair cutting. They continue to do it anyways. We will never be back. It's obvious that they use a BUZZER (not scissors, as should be used in Goldens) as you can literally see the lines from the buzzer in the sun. It's ham-handed and terrible looking. My dog does not even look like a golden retriever anymore, she looks like a yellow lab. Her hocks and her mane were completely removed. Even from an aesthetic perspective, the AKC standard is to keep them long and brush them. Not totally shave them off. I am active in the dog rescue community and I will be telling the rescues, trainers, fosters, and adopters that I work with to NEVER get their dogs groomed at petsmart. They do not respect owners' wishes, and they clearly do not know how to safely groom breeds with double coats. As if I needed another reason to stop spending my money at chains and support a local grooming business...

Petsmart grooming store #0210 is the best! Marcie in grooming did an amazing job with my 2 puppies shitzu and a pomeranian. You won't find better pet groomer !

Tori great job!

the guy in the doggy daycare was mean to the dog. I don't like the way he was interacting with him and being aggressive to the dog.

They have all pets needs for my 15 week puppy, 5 year old and 12 year old dogs. Never had any problems.

It has a nice time range of drop off and pick up times which helps with Dad's schedule and ensures that I get to come home without delay. I like that we get an opportunity to play outside 90 minutes at a time, 3 times a day. The outdoor area is 1/2 covered and 1/2 in the sun, which gives me options in various weather conditions. Since I'm just a year old and under 40 lbs, the helpers also put me in the small doogie group with others my size, so we can play together. There is a separate area to go potty and plenty of time set aside to rest. The owner is friendly and answered questions quickly. After an interview, updated shots, and a 3 hour daycare trial , it was determined that I could come back here for an overnight stay. The 4'x6' kennels are big enough to get a good night sleep. It's a good thing Dad remembered the dog mat because the floors are concrete and would have been too cold for me. Glad we found this place because next to sticking to Dad and Mum like velcro, this boarding facility is a good fit when they can't be with me.

Thousand Oaks location could use some assistance. Dropped my pup off for an 8 AM appointment, and I…read morecalled at 12:30 to see what's going on. Associate explained he didn't like the blow dryer. News to me because he's had baths at multiple Lucy's locations many times and regularly. They explained they were letting him air dry. Air dry a GSD? Now he smells like wet dog. When I picked him up at 12:50 no bandanna or cologne. Not the first time they missed that. Makes you wonder if all the services were performed when you pay $150. Manager attempted to interject but kept interrupting me. At that point, I was checked out. He stated he would inquire and call. No attempt to fix it right then. It's been two and a half hours and still no call. I'll drive a bit further to the 1604 location or look for another dog bather.

They offer full days and half days too. They have little pools for the dogs to walk in, trees everywhere and lots of shade for the Summer months. They have live cameras (accessible through the web site) in all areas to watch your kids throughout the day. They ensure all vaccinations are current so your dog will be safe and complete temperament tests before your dog interacts with the pack. My boy was recently adopted from the Animal Defense League and he was so scared. I am sure he never experienced Doggy daycare before. They were patient with him and loved on him as if he was their own. When he got really nervous they separated him and gave him some space. He is now a regular several times a week. They have great financial packages, offer tons of services and soon they will opening the area to wash your own doggies. They also offer free day care if you have a primary dog and foster another and they are dropped off together. How amazing is that!!!!!! Ten stars goes to Lucy's.
