Terrible awful dumbest service ever!!! Even manager is fucking terrible. I may look fucking grumpy a little but because I almost arrived home. I parked on my space from a long traffic and then found out there's a double charge on the receipt. They charged me $30 for $13 priced item. Because of a fucking dumb cashier's mistake, I got to be back twice from home!! Manager tried to fix but I'm still feeling irritated. Not gonna come store for shopping. Shopping sucks here!!!! i got a guinea pig here and he was in such poor condition. he was filthy and close to dying i could tell by his symptoms of pussing,crusty eyes, runny nose with boogers, and sneezing. i took him to the vet and he was diagnosed with URI (upper respiratory infection) which can be fatal if not treated quickly. i cant believe petsmart let this poor little guy suffer for so long. read more

This location is always clean, organized, and the staff is so helpful! There's always a member who's willing (and able) to help and they've given me wonderful advice. Amanda is especially helpful and whenever I come in for a new aquarium item she always makes sure to ask how my fish are doing (she helped me clear up a bad disease in my tank) and it makes me feel so welcome. I recently took my dog to their groomers and it was amazing! Before coming here I took him to a place in long beach that had high reviews, but I was greatly dissatisfied! My dog still smelled bad and took over 3 hours to get him groomed. So I decided to take him to Petsmart. My dog's groomer was super nice I think her name was Brianna, she told me exactly what was going to happen and even suggested a couple things that would benefit my dog. Also, there was another girl I believe her name was Connie, she was informative and gave me advice on my dog. Great service all around!! :) read more

This was my very first visit at PetSmart, and I have to say it was a great first time experience. I don't recall one of the associates names but he was very welcoming. He answered all my questions and showed me the cat adoption area. We had a nice conversation about the cats and how I could go about adopting. When it came time to checkout , Ivy was super amazing,seems to really know her stuff! She signed me up for the rewards program and explained how everything worked. She took the time to ask me about my bearded dragons she gave me some tips and tricks to care for them. She was great, good customer service! We made an appointment to have our dog groomed at this Petsmart. We adopted our dog a week ago from the Petsmart in Cerritos from a dog rescue who rescues stray dogs in Tijuana and brings them back to the states for adoption. The dogs also get vaccinated in TJ, so the records are all in Spanish. The girl at the dog grooming appointment desk refused to take our dog because she said, "I don't understand Spanish." We tried to explain that the antirrabica was the anti rabies vaccine and she kept saying I'm sorry I don't speak Spanish and refused to Google it to see the translation. She said we had to go to the vet and get it in English. We ended up going to Petco and they were very nice and friendly and looked over the shot record and said it would be fine. Unfortunately they were booked until tomorrow and we needed our dog groomed that day. Finally, we ended up at a "mom and pop" dog groomer who required proof of even more shots than just rabies. They looked over the shot record and looked up the translations of each vaccine and squeezed in an appointment that evening. Needless to say, we had made an appointment expecting to get our dog groomed, and the girl at this Petsmart just wasted our time. read more

Very upset. We spent over $70.00 on our dog to be groomed. When we picked her up she did not smell clean. Had a wet dog smell to her. I asked and Connie looked at me funny. A day later our dog developed a skin infection that was caused by not disinfecting their shears or shavers. If you have someone with a nasty stinky dog it's gonna be transferred to your dog. We will not be coming back. We ended up spending over $300.00 including antibiotics and a vet visit! BEWARE!!! Connie seemed like she was doing a good job, but obviously not. She thinks the quicker you get them out the better... nope not again you lost my business and will be letting all our friends know as well. read more

The cashiers at this PARTICULAR Petsmart overcharged me not once but several times over the last months. This most recent time I noticed as soon as I got to my car and went back in with my items and receipts. The cashier had charged me for two bags of a certain dog food when I had only bought one. They did refund me the almost $16. Then when I got home and looked at the receipt again I noticed the cashier had only deducted 3 cents for a $3 off coupon for a particular brand dog food. We all make the occasional mistake but the cashiers at this location seem to make a regular habit of it. In this economy many of us are on a budget and need to make good use of such discounts. read more

Been there a few times since grand opening, the front staff is nice but the grooming staff is suspicious... My dog hides from the staff and gets really anxious. Which makes me thinks the staff may be abusive towards dogs in general. There is also a staff member there that gives a shitty attitude which I hope is just towards me. But that's just me never going back to that spot read more

I love this PetSmart location! Before this location opened, I was driving to the Torrance location on Sepulveda and Hawthorne. Only negative thing to say about the other location is that their products always look picked over, and are not very well stocked. When I got my new kitten, I had a specific food that I wanted to feed her, and in a specific flavor. The Sepulveda location hardly had it in stock, and if it was there, there were a few loose cans and no unopened cases. After a trip where they were completely out, I tried the PCH location for the first time and was so happy I did! Not only did they have the flavor I was looking for with numerous unopened cases available, they also had a lot more flavors that I didn't even know existed! The layout is great. Customer service is awesome! read more

We like going to the other Torrance Petsmart on Sepulveda and Hawthorne. We decided to check this newer store on PCH and Crenshaw and got the WORST experience ever. We have always used coupons printed online and never had problems using them. We proceded to pick all the items we usually buy and when we checked out and handed the coupons thats when all the nonsense occurred. The cashier did not know how to put the coupons in - understandable if you are new, but then when she called for help the manager told us in a condescending manner that they do not accept copies of coupons. These are Manufacturer coupons PRINTED ONLINE with different time stamps (you can only print one coupon per day with a maximum of 4 per houshold) - he said it didnt matter because it was on copy paper and that it should be on a magazine type or newspaper type of paper. Which rock did they get this manager under from??? He then said that the coupons are fraudulent and to try to soften the blow that it was not our fault but it was a fraudulent site that we were getting them from. He went as far as even rubbing the paper to demonstrate that it was not the right type of paper the coupons would be on and that it would have other print on the other aide and that it would be in color. He kept harping about the coupon being a copy on copy paper and black and white. He then GRABBED a few of THEIR in store coupons from the flyers they had in the store to demonstrate how the paper should feel like. He was pointing out that aside from being fraudulent, it was not thier coupon despite that it had petsmart on it. Everybody in the right mind knows what copy/printer paper is, what advertisement coupons look like, but this guy doesnt seem to understand that manufacturers also send online/email coupons for their patrons to take advantage of where the only way to get them is to PRINT them. We explained to him that these are manufacturer coupons that we PRINTED online NOT COPIES - with each one having a different date and time stamp on the coupon itself. These are coupons specifically for petsmart with the petsmart logo on the coupon itself, also a few of which, WERE PRINTED IN COLOR! As a side note the manufacturer coupon also clearly states "Retailer: this coupon may be printed in black and white" and also stated that it was an exclusive petsmart coupon. I fully understand that some stores, not just petsmart, may refuse to accept coupons from vendors/manufacturer, but all they would have to say is that they do not accept coupons period - they do not need to be condescending, do not have to talk down to their customers, and definitely not accuse someone of trying to commit or participate in fraudulent activity. We will definitely not go back to this branch ever and you can bet on the fact that we will send COPIES of this posting to people we know to avoid this store as well. read more

I'm changing my rating on this place because the last couple of visits have been pleasant and not an ordeal. I brought Kona in for a nail trim yesterday morning at about 8:45 AM and even though I had to wait about 20 minutes for the people to process a woman who came before me and a guy that came AFTER me, they were able to grind Kona's nails in a short amount of time and they did a good job (they were short enough in my opinion). I was able to book an appointment for our other dog for today, for a Furminator bath & brush, at a reasonable time as well. At other locations we've gone to, we had to book about a week in advance, so being able to book a day before wasn't an issue. We were taken care of quickly when checking in and they even took her early (I came at 11:40 AM for a 12N appt). They took a brisk look at her ears nails and coat to see how much it would cost, and after a $34 quote, I was pretty satisfied. Hopefully our uber hairy shed-crazy fur daughter will actually have a 90% decrease in amount of shedding, as Furminator promises! read more

It's small but they have most what I need for my 3 little babies/monsters. It's fast and easy but checking for every receipt for exchanging is little inconvenient. I'm not the most organized person. Actually I'm the least organized. So showing a receipt for exchange would be mighty difficult. So I get it emailed but not all cashier does it. The manager is not a loving and care person for your pet. My dog was shaking and scared when i arrive . my dog smelled liked it was never bathed . and teeth was never brushed . the package i paid for was not delivered. And the manager is rude when interviewing you for what kind of cut and bath package you want for your pet. read more

I just picked up my dog from petsmart located on pch and Crenshaw and I had the usual done to my dog been taking him here for the past 2 years but this will be my last. When I picked him up the gromming was fine like usually but when I got home I noticed he has some random long hairs on his leg as I reached down to cut them I noticed a flea I quickly took care of it but as I kept looking I kept finding more and more. I was really upset at this point I had spent $73 to get groomed and apparently with the flea package. I immediately called petsmart to let the groomer know and all I got was and OH!! Really that is all they can say so unprofessional as I kept expressing that my do had fleas after picking him up and they should check there kennels or dogs they might have in the back it was all silence at the end she finally said she was Sorry and that was it. I just hoped the groomer would have had a little more consideration not just an OH as an answer. I have to say they always do a great job and it's hard to find a good groomer but I will not be taking my dog back to petsmart again. No consideration or customer service at all. read more

First time bringing my fur-baby for grooming at this location! I really don't like taking her to any groomer in a pet store to begin with, She has a groomer that I normally take her to! But today I received an email with a coupon for 25% off an evening bath! I figured it's hot my poor baby she's miserable and she can use a bath and nail trim, she might feel better! I book the appointment and of course once I get there they convince to upgrade the package I had originally booked. The package includes her bath, a milk conditioner, teeth brushed, ears cleaned and gland extraction for about $44 before the coupon! An hour later Dana calls me to let me know she's ready to be picked up! I get there and Dana proceeds to tell me Shadow was a very good girl just a bit squirmy during hair nail trim! I asked how were her glands she replies "oh, did you want me extract them, they weren't bad at all!" I respond "um yeah, it was part of the package!" She's like "ok I can't do it really quick, go ahead and pay and I'll have her ready in a sec!" I go pay and go back to pick up Shadow and Dana is wiping her bottom and states she got a little dirty. I grab Shadow who is know trembling a little, and when I step out of the groomers I realize Shadow smells beyond fishy! Mind you Shadow didn't smell dirty to begin with she had just had a bath at home a weeks ago! And she came out of there smelling like she hadn't showered in months! You would think the glands are something they would check before her bath! Her nails were so jagged therefore telling me they were just trimmed and not filed down like they were supposed! By far the worse service I have received at Petsmart! She's gotten groomed/hair cut at the other Torrance location as well as in Manhattan beach and they did an awesome job I just stopped taking her because of the horror stories that I've heard about dogs being injured. Well needless to say that with this new experience she will not be getting groomed here ever again! read more

POOR CUSTOMER COMMUNICAION....We took our family dog there for a nail trim. At first the groomer who checked us in appeared to be pleasant. We mentioned it was our first time there and we were going to run an errand and return. She called and said "####''s been ready." We responded "Okay, we're on our way." We're stuck in traffic and she calls back hysterical and said he's stressing out and peeing all over the place. She said we were not supposed to leave the premises. We explained to her that was never disclosed to us and her tone was not appreciated.:-( Really disappointed at the customer service that was provided. When we arrived to pick up our dog, the assistant manager had an empathetic ear. That was a plus. read more

I came here on their soft opening, and it was kinda awkward at first because I'm so used to the giant layout of the other Petsmart. But I come here on a regular basis now. I like that this store is small enough for me to find everything I need quickly. The animals that they have in the back look so much more healthier than the other ones in the Sepulvida and Hawthorne location. Even the fish looks so lively... vs the other store where I always see at least 2 or 3 or more fishes floating dead around the tank. The staff here are friendly. It's so much more quieter in this location than the other one, which sometimes is nice. The only thing I wish they had in this location that most of the other location does have is a designated area where the dogs can do what they need to do before entering the store. They have that awkward area on the front of the store where they have plants in... Kind of a weird choice of landscaping for a pet store. You would think they would have a nice blank area that is either just grass or dirt so the dogs go on it... read more
