This store was very unprofessional and not well organized. We had an appointment for grooming of our dogs. When we arrived we were told the appointment was for bathing only. We spoke to the Store Director and she said we can only groom your smaller dog. I guess she expected us to drive back on another day to get our larger dog groomed. We will not use this store again. I frequent this PetSmart quite often and like it better than Petco. The employees are nice and everything is always well stocked.

My 10-year old dog had never been boarded. A month ago, I boarded him at a local facility and he was absolutely traumatized. I am SO glad I found Petsmart Hotel! He was treated like a KING! They were all so kind, so polite, Tigger came out happy and content! Was is a tad more expensive, yes, who cares? This is my buddy, who trusts me to make sure he is taken care of. Granted, I went whole hog and they have budget-friendly choices. I will NEVER take my trusted companion anywhere else! Kudos, and so, so happy! read more

I've been going to this Petsmart for the past few months since getting my puppy. She LOVES day camp and would go everyday if she could. The staff at the Pet Hotel/Day Camp are loving and really like the animals they work with. My dog comes home pooped and loved after a long day at camp. Petsmart offers certain foods they will serve for lunch or you can bring your own, and don't forget to add on a snack kong... I think that is my dog's favorite part! We looked into other dog camps (camp bow wow etc), but for the location of this Petsmart, you can't beat it! read more

I really liked this particular Petsmart even though it's out of the way from my home. It's generally well stocked, and the employees are very friendly. I went there and purchased large breed puppy food. I bought two bags, got them home, and when I opened them they were full of bugs. I called the store and the lady told me Sure, we'll replace them. She didn't say she was sorry and had a whatever attitude. I find time to go back to the out of the way PetSmart and exchange it for two new bags of the same food. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly. I get these two bags home, the first one is fine, and of course the second one is full of bugs, again. Now I'm upset. I called the store back and asked to speak with a manager. To sum it up, he said it's not his fault but he will fix it. They could have been a little more helpful read more

The slowest place for dog grooming. The appointment was made online for 11 o'clock to one o'clock. I was told it would take about one and a half hours. Three hours later Clarissa told me that the dog did not like to have her nails trimmed so it was not done. $34.00? Outrageous! I'll be speaking to the manager ASAP. 4374 Oracle Rd. I used this PetSmart at 4374 Oracle two days in a row because my kitty has been sick. The vet prescribed a diet that requires a prescription. Yesterday I stopped in to Banfield at this PetSmart to have the prescription entered in the computer and picked up several varieties of the prescription food to see what my kitty would eat. Today I returned to this PetSmart and explained that I had forgotten to Bring my written prescription....after driving 15 miles to this PetSmart. For some reason the Banfield portion of the PetSmart was closed, unlike it's posted hours, so there was no access to retrieve the prescription. I did have my receipt from the previous days purchase showing what food I had been allowed to buy with the prescription. At NO time did the manager of this store offer to go the extra mile to help me get food for my sick cat. I now understand that he could have contacted ANY one of the other Banfields to get the ok on the prescription, but he did not have the customer service drive to do so, simply saying "We have nothing to do with Banfield". He could have helped, he chose not to. Thank you for making a difficult day even worse. Terrible customer service by not thinking outside the box, or even making a phone call for a customer who was going to spend a fair amount of money. Inexcusable! I went to a different PetSmart where I was treated like a valued customer and was taken care of. They will get my good review! read more

Don't bring your cat here if you want a humane experience with the current groomers. My cat has gone here for two years and today Ashley said that he could no longer receive services here bc he attempted to bite her. Excuse me, cats are temperamental and if you are "certified" as you say you are, then completing a grooming session in 30 minutes upon immediate arrival of a cat..you should know better. If he was stressed and you were rushing him, why not use the 3 hours you have him to do it properly and not stress the cat out? this review is for the pet hotel and the grooming. I left our 11 yr old pekingese here over night. I called before to make sure that they would be able to take in a older dog that bites, has a disc problem, drags his back legs due to it, and is incontinent. They said that both the grooming and hotel stay would not be a problem. I left specific instructions about needing to stimulate his bladder and double checked to see if that was something they could do when we were checking him in. They reassured me that it wasn't a problem. We asked that he needed more than 2 walks per day due to the incontinent problem. They took notes in the computer and said that would be taken care of. Then we asked to consult with a petsmart groomer about getting him groomed and some came in and said no problem have a safe trip and don't worry... I called in to check on our dog...only to find out that he had not gone to the bathroom the entire first day! I asked how many times he was taken out and the person tells me once!!!!!! Then I asked if they stimulated his bladder and she again says NO!!!! Then the a few hours later I get a call from the grooming dept saying that they could not groom my dog. Interestingly our dog has been groomed even with his disc and behavior problem and not once has there been a problem!!! So that didn't happen. Then the highlight of this experience is when we came to pick our dog up, they said that they could no longer take in our dog because he could not get up on his own. Nothing was said when we brought our dog in and showed them the problems...wow! Then they charged me for one on one play time that may or may not have happened...not to mention the doggie play time was for the day we picked him up not they day before! but they were planning to have a play date both days we left him when we only asked for one!!!!! They bring out my dog all covered in poop including his blanket that we left for them! I looked in the glass door to see where all the dogs stay only to see depressed dogs and even cages covered in poop that had not been picked up! I don't know about you guys, but I don't even know where they take out the dogs for walks! I wouldn't even leave our dog here even they asked me. I picked up the managers business card and will call corp to complain! read more

I wish I didn't even have to give one star...we had our dog here for a 4 night stay at the pet hotel and asked for a nail clipping and bath for him as well. We also bought him a new chew toy to play with when we dropped him off. We got him the "suite" and when asked if he was good to play with the other dogs in the doggie daycare. he is somewhat timid but I told them they could give it a shot. At no time did they tell me it was an additional charge, but when we checked him out...there was about $60 we hadn't planned on. It was also clear that they hadn't even given him his new toy or he was too depressed to play with it. NO WONDER! As we were bringing him home in the car, he kept shaking his head back and forth, over and again and whining. When we got him home, we discovered he had scratches on the top of his head and big wads of cotton stuffed down into his ears. According to his paperwork, he had his bath the day before...which means he was going nuts for some 15 hours because they didn't remove them after his bath apparently. He looks exhausted and is listful...traumatized...definitely not himself. I feel like a horrible parent that left my child with a careless babysitter. I trusted the Pet Smart name and wish I had done a little more checking before I decided on leaving him there. Never again will I use there grooming or boarding services or even buy products from this location. read more

I dont usually go to this store, But i needed a dremmel kit for my dog. I bought the Top Paw Conair nail grinder for my dog. The product works great no complaints on that part, Once the dremmel tip got dull i went back to get a new tip, they didnt have any in stock.. not just then but none of the stores in town for the last 6 months months havent had any in stock. Ive been referred to hardware stores for tips which none fit the tool i bought, ive been told to check online at their website.. and again out of stock for several months now. I even searched all over the web for the replacement tip no where has any, if you arent going to carry the replacent tip and cant give anyone solid i formation on where they might find one, you should stop selling that product. Ill never buy from here again just because of it, if they did the right thing and replaced it with something they sell parts for or parts for somewhere in general then that might change my mind. Now im out $50 and have to go buy a new one. I bought it here because the name of the store is well known so i trusted that, i wont trust it again l and i hope no one else does either. Do your research dont just trust in a brand name to have quality products. read more

I recently got my boxer groomed here. He was having an anal gland problem so I requested the did that in addition to his bath, ears and nails. We left and his nails were just as long as before. The problem did not subside so I imagine they did not do them as I requested. I took him in today to do his anal gland and nails. When I came to get him they said they couldn't do it because he wouldn't lift up his little tail and told me to take him to a vet. i would understand this if there was a problem asode from hos tail being in the way. not only did his nails look jagged and still long but he was stepping in pee and when I told them they ignored me. At least I got my money back, but they won't be receiving my business again. read more

This review is for the Petsmart pet hotel on oracle. I have used them a few times, but this location only twice. As a whole, I've had a good experience. The front desk people were friendly and I left feeing like my pets were in good hands. However, the last time I picked up my dog, he came out panting. Not as if he were excited but dehydrated. Since I wasn't able to pick him up before 12 on Sunday, I sent him to doggie day camp until I was back in town. Not sure if he had anything to drink that day? He was shaking on the car ride home. For the rest of the night he peed whenever my boyfriend or I went to pick him up. He's never been like that after being boarded at pet smart. It made me feel uneasy thinking someone might have been mean to him. However, I'm not positive that's what happened. read more

The last time I took my dog to Petsmart, I had to take him to the vets afterwards. His groomer was apparently yanking on his tail to try to get him to be still. His usually curly tail hung straight down and he had a limp and fell over a couple of times. The vet gave me anti-inflammatory, pain medicine. read more

There is a manager there who is a larger man who wears glasses and has to be one of the rudest managers iv ever dealt with . This man is not friendly and last time I went to see a trainer who told me to take my dog to do an evaluation and when I told the manager who I was looking for he was very rude to me and told me "Im sure he didn't tell you to bring your dog with you"!? Are you freaking kidding me? I was so upset about this that I ended up taking my business else where and started private training classes somewhere else. I use to shop here all the time and now I always go out of my way just to avoid that man. read more

I bring my pug here for grooming, day care, occasional boarding, and general "doggy store" shopping. Overall I really like the store and I think they do a great job with the dogs. Clara loves the Dentley brand of chews that I have not found anywhere else, so we stock up on them. The groomers are excellent and the $23.99 price for a bath with nail trim is a bargain. When I need day care I pay $14 for her to play all day with dogs her size in a supervised environment; you can't beat that. Two complaints: I think the $30 per night is a little pricey for boarding; my vet only charges $22. But I can't pick her up at the vet on Sunday, so on the weekend it is the only option. The second complaint was an incident that happened the first time I brought her to day care. The literature said she would be fed if there through the evening hours. My day ran long and she was there for twelve hours, from 8 AM until 8 PM, and they did not feed her any dinner. So she was a very hungry dog, as she normally eats at 4 PM. I was annoyed, but I told them about it the next time and it has not happened again. I'm a pretty satisfied customer, most of the time. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences at this store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've taken my dog through the puppy training course and am very happy with the program. I've never had a problem making returns here. I've made several as my puppy is being picky about toys. I've always brought the receipt with me for returns and have not had a single issue. read more

Just like all PetSmart locations, great!... There is a dog hotel! Awesome. One thing though. One of the staff members told me that ticks "jumped". After intense research, I found ticks do not jump or fly. They just simply crawl from place to place. Spent two days searching my body and with my dog in the laundry room (small dog...not outside pet) thinking a tick maybe "jumped" on me. Please if you read this, PetSmart. Advice your staff ticks don't jump! Only fleas.... read more
