Big location. Carry a lot of products other facilities have stopped. They have plenty of parking, and convenient spots for pick up. Although people use it for regular parking. Grr. Staff is always helpful, and friendly. Although I still miss staff from my old location. Their check out is faster and there's always 2 people. Love their big adoption events. I ordered my dog's medication through PetSmart because their website said the medication will arrive in 2 to 3 business days. Per the USPS tracking, the medication will not arrive until a full 5 business days. It took PetSmart a day and a half from printing the shipping label to actually dropping the item off at USPS. As a large company, you would think that they would have a more efficient system to get items to the mailing facility. I understand the shipping policy said "most orders", but you would think that PetSmart would have enough sense to prioritize mailing MEDICATIONS but I guess in their eyes medications are not important. This was my first time ordering from you and it definitely is the last time. So you're asking what could improve? If PetSmart cannot adhere to their own shipping policy, especially regarding medication, they should probably change it as a create an unrealistic expectation for the customers. First of all, despite their prices ,while the Pet Hotel is not exactly the Fur Seasons, it is at least a Pet Western. Although I admit, the pet hotel lobby was better than the hotel I recently stayed at If you purchase some of the " add ons" , your pet might get the Pawliday Inn experience. That said, I felt my pet was well cared for. Also reassuring is that there is immediate access to a good competent vet should any issues arrive. I can leave my pet here with peace of mind that he will be OK, maybe even more than ok as he ignored me when I came to pick him up. As far as the store itself, they have the biggest selection of pet items ranging from animal supplements to fish supplies. It can seem pricey, but you get what you pay for. Used PetSmart grooming services for the first time. The process was very easy from setting up an account, to booking the appointment the following day, and even the intake paperwork. Got the call to confirm my appointment and showed up. When I got there, Adam was ready to meet my little guy. All I needed to do was go over some details, show proof of vaccination, and Scrat was on his way to get groomed. Was advised it would take 3-4 hours but they ended up earlier and I was able to pick my boy up. When showed up, was told Scrat did very well, he was anxious but nothing the staff couldn't overcome. All in all, the experience was great. Even got a 20% coupon for checking in on Yelp at the store. That was a nice surprise at the end. The store didn't overcharge me for services I had booked and didn't need. And it ended up being cheaper than I expected. I took my dog to get groomed, it's a Poodle, she is a bit fuzzy. They proceeded to shave my dog's tail off down to almost skin. I had been growing it out for over 3 years. They didn't ask they just shaved it off. There was no tangles in the tail as I had just combed it through. I also proceeded to watch a males groomer with glasses and dark hair, taller guy, grab an older golden retriever who was having a hard time standing, and yanked him over towards him. He did this a few times. Just seemed overly aggressive and I didn't think he was kind to the dog. I won't go in to anymore details. I won't go back there. They also charged me for mats in their hair but shaved their whole body off except their head! What a waste of money!! read more

The groomer was nice to me and to my dog. For this I'm of course grateful. Grooming , though, appeared to be either rushed or inexperienced. My pup did get the short cut for which I asked, but I'm disappointed that a lot of it it looks all ragged and chopped up. It needs to be corrected. I was abrupt w the person that had to deliver this news. Apologies to her. She was trying to help but trying to contain puppy that loves people and dogs too much I didn't understand what she was telling me. Once I got to my car I realized. I called Good Neighbor but they didn't call me back til well after our appointment. TLDR: Don't waste your time training your dog here. Nice selection of items but if you need help good luck finding an employee. I attended a 6-week training class with Rachel. Apparently she is the lead trainer for the region as we had 5 other trainers come in and sit with us throughout our classes. I felt that after 6 weeks I saw very minimal to no change in my pup. I feel the YouTube videos I had watched taught me more than Rachel did. She does little "lectures" then has you go practice the skill by yourself in an aisle. She will come watch you do it once and then correct you and leave. I felt it wasn't enough support for my pup and quite frankly I feel a lot of the other owners seemed to feel the same way. You could tell all the pups were bored in class as well. By week 5 and 6 I had to drag myself to class since it was already paid for. I have since signed up for classes with Seattle Humane and have had way more progress in one week with them then the whole 6 weeks with Rachel. Seeing as she is the "lead" trainer this leaves me with little hope for any of the other Petsmarts in the area. I like shopping here because they have a decent selection of items when you can't wait for chewy to ship your stuff (could use more selection for critters/exoctics) but if you need help it can be a nightmare trying to find anybody who works here but the one single cashier. I recommend going somewhere else and paying more for dog training classes as their classes were a giant waste of time and feel like I lost valuable training time with my puppy. 2 stars only for the shopping experience. 0 stars for training. read more

We used the PetSmart pet hotel for my frenchie, Cash, for 17 nights while we were out of town. 17 nights is a big deal, so I made sure to look around and find the best choice for my pup. Eventually we went with this pet hotel, and got him a puppy suite with tv. (yes I am that kind of person). We had great communication throughout his stay, checked in on him often and got updates along the way. When we picked him up he has very happy & healthy! And the employees mentioned he was great and loved playing with other dogs, specially a huge mastiff girl which was so funny to us since Cash is tiny! It was a steep price boarding him for 17 nights, but it felt super safe & he seemed to enjoy it :) read more

I just had my dog groomed at PetSmart in Woodinville today (7/21/21) at 10am. She is 4 years old and loves getting groomed, always calm and chill all around. The last time I took her I was unsatisfied with her cut but gave it another shot with another groomer. Huge mistake. I've been taking her there for 4 years and all of the sudden she is getting hack jobs. When I called the groomer knew exactly what was up. She said well she wiggled. I'm like, my do is a walking XANAX. I only hope this groomer gets more training. I shave my 8 year old son's head and I know what wiggling is. He has never ended up with the Bat Symbol. Update: yet again another trip with horrible customer service. They have the music volume up so high irritated a few people not just myself. I just was the one to ask them to turn it down. They said they would and didn't, instead were assholes and tuned it up. Next we came in quick for 2 items Natures miracle and an over the counter medication we have bought here for years. 3 associates later for help. Non knew where it was or were willing to help. Instead after 15min standing around we see them hanging out and playing on their phones or talking to other employees but not helping customers. Crap customer service. I hope they all get fired. Get new managment. Charge me more per item and provide customer service and pay employees happy to work. Horrible day. has a smaller selection for dog toys than I would expect for a super pet store. I've always appreciated the service at this Petsmart location, especially the groomers who have always taken good care of our goldendoodle. I like coming here - this store is one of the larger ones with a doggie salon, etc. I love bringing our small dog into the store (on a leash of course) - he can pick out his own toys. Pet food galore; ill note here that friskies canned cat food is cheaper here than local discounts supermarkets, leading me to believe their food prices are reasonable. Always friendly service/staff. We used the doggy day camp back in May for our dog. She's a staffordshire Dalmatian. We told them what she was when we booked. They took her in and she played all day with the dogs. Nothing else was ever said. I call again today to book daycare and they tell me there's a note saying she has to do "individual play" because she's "pitbull". Individual play means they shove her in a room by herself for 8 hours with no interaction with other dogs. That's such BS and I will never use petsmart daycare again. My dog is not aggressive she LOVES other dogs. I should have read the fine print and will take my business to someone who appreciates her breed. If I wanted her locked in a room for 8 hours I'd do it at home for free. read more

A few months ago, I stopped at this store to buy super worms for my hedgehog named Sebastian and to get a specific type of soft hey for my guinea pig Gandalf. It was the first time I went there to get those items. After searching for a while around the store, so I have no idea where I could get them. I tried to find help but the only employee available was the cashier and she was busy, so I looked around again and so I young woman (employee) talking on the phone. When I came close to her, she looked at me just walked away from me. I was kind of speechless with her attitude, and she still on the phone talking. After over 5 minutes waiting I just got close to her again and said: excuse me? She: "I am sorry I am with a customer on the phone." Oh my, at that point I just gave up, got a treat for Gandalf and went to the cashier. I mentioned to the cashier about what happened and that I still wanted the super worms at least. She just looked at me and before out of no where she left the register!!!!! She came back with the super worms and did not say a world!!!!! I refused to buy it and I just paid and left. As soon as I got into my car I called the manager and explained to her what just happened. I was so furious that I did not want stay for one more second at the store. This is just unacceptable, rude, and horrible way to treat anyone, especially a customer. She apologized and agreed with me that they should had handle things differently. The first thing that happened to me while l was there was my groomer was late by 30 minutes not the biggest deal in the world to me but the next thing is what really gets me...... I picked my dog up she looked great, we get home and all of a sudden l see blood on the floor and l see her licking her paw like crazy... I check her paws out and saw that her paw was SHAVED to the skin... you can see in the photo that it's so shaved there are spots where there is 0 hair.... I'm sorry but don't you notice that when your grooming a dog and you don't care to say something to the owner, and not only but aren't you going to notice the dogs paw is RAW from what your doing......It's absolutely ridiculous that no one said absolutely anything to me when l picked her up I'm disgusted by the Petsmart grooming people read more

This last visit has made my dog very ill. I have taken my Pomeranian in for grooming several times this year. It's been a struggle to find a personal dog groomer, as most places a too far booked out. Even scheduling him here is a challenge, but it seemed more convenient than calling independent groomers for an appointment. I had him in for his appointment this last Sunday. While his haircut isn't the most accurate (lots of long strays, she said he wiggled too much), the situation grew worse. He woke up early Wednesday morning with a deep croup cough. I took him to the vet, and he has a really bad canine lung infection, and it appears it isn't the basic kennel cough that can easily happen. He is now on antibiotics and Vicodin, to help as a cough suppressant. He doesn't socialize with other dogs, therefore he hasn't been to other places of possible exposure. Sadly, I won't be back for any of the kennel/grooming services I used frequently before. The risk to his health just for the convenience isn't worth it. read more

I have a 15 year old Bichon who has been groomed for the 14 years we have had him. He is a calm, gentle little dog who is kind to everyone. I got a call saying that my dog was trying to jump off the drying table, whatever that is. We went right away to get him where they proceeded to tell us that we could no longer bring him there for grooming. He was TERRIFIED getting into the car, coming into our house and for a full day afterward. Finally today, he seems to be back to his old self. How sad is this! The shave is three times shorter then what I asked for and the team member, Michael, cut my dogs leg. He also went too deep on his back nails and they bleed :( I get fur grows back... We checked in our dog Boo Radley back in October on short notice so that we could head to Pullman to watch the Cougs on Gameday! Boo had a WSU Snuggie when we dropped him off, but when we picked him up he had a solid red fleece. I just let it go and figured that some lucky dog now owned a WSU Snuggie (and we have another). Nearly 3 months later I get a call from Taylor saying she found Boos Snuggie and wanted to get it back to him. This is a fairly small PetSmart, so they didn't have the new cat litter I wanted to try. The rep for one of the vendors that was on site was trying to show me what she uses for her cats and she couldn't find it - she apologized and told me where she has found it before at Petco. I settled for World's Best's new formula in hopes that it will be better than the original formula which tracks everywhere. When I went to checkout I realized I had forgotten my merchandise credit card at home. I had taken a photo of it before and asked if they could just scan that. The girl at checkout asked the manager and she said no. This is a huge pain since I am never near a PetSmart when I have the card on me. The whole reason I went into this PetSmart was to use up the credit on the card. In this day and age of technology all gift cards or merchandise credit cards should be in the form of an e-card anyway. Why do we still waste plastic and paper at all retailers?!? read more

This is about the pet hotel. We left our French bulldog over Christmas because it had good reviews and the staff seemed nice. When we picked him up, he seemed sad and he was so tired. The lady that was working said he was "messy" and didn't explain on that. When we were walking into our house we noticed his testicles were red and inflamed. Then we looked closer and found a small cut as well!!! We have no idea what happened but it's still healing. I will attach pictures below. When we called to ask if they noticed the CUT on him they said they didn't see anything. They obviously were not paying attention to him or didn't want to get in trouble! Also, our dog is having accidents in the house again when he was perfectly potty trained before. He is 1 year and a half. They must have not taken him to use the bathroom enough while he was staying! That would explain why the lady working said he was "messy". Why don't they just take him outside the proper amount of times? Whatever happened there must have been traumatizing for my baby and it was quite expensive as well. I will never be taking him back here and I suggest you don't take your dog here either. read more

Words fall short to express my gratitude to all the people that work at the doggie day camp there! My pup is a barker because I overly protected him when he was a puppy and got attacked at a park by a huskie. So he has been fearful of dogs because of his experience. But he needs to get out of that fear and socialize with dogs. I tried many puppy classes, imcluding a lifetime membership with barkbusters however nothing seemed to work till I discovered this small place hidden in the back of PetSmart! The employees there are the best group of people you will ever meet! My dog Rafiki can be a handful but they all genuinely love dogs and have immense patience when dealing with the dogs! I am so grateful for them! The first time Rafiki attended the camp he was trouble and they had to give him a "timeout" basically alone time to have a break. However every visit since than he has gotten better! This has only been possible becoz the employees there didn't give up on him! do not use the pet hotel!!! its a mark up scam. we were quoted $660 for 6 nights for 2 dogs. it came out to over $770. the biggest scam is they wont talk to the vet department to help you get your vacincation papers. (we only came to this hotel cause we also use the vet, wont do either anymore?) our dog had a condition saw a banfield vet and knew about a peeing issued. but, while your dog is at the hotel, they send it to the vet where they can run all the test they want without any authoriation. they charged another $700 in vet bills without any authorization. this was a known issue for our dog and they vet knew that in the records. this place does not care about your pet just up charging for more money. for only 6 days it cost me $1,500. next time they will stay anywere besides here. be very warry of this place. read more
