Good resemblance of a French bistro. Good vibe when you first walk in. Our server Sarah Jean was outstanding. She knew the menu well and explained the preparation of the entrees. This is a BYOB but they have a short wine list from a local winery. We had to try it and ordered a red recommended by Sarah Jean. We ordered several appetizers, escargot and smoked duck. Both were very good. For the entrees we had Cog Au Vin and the Scallop pasta. These turned out to be excellent choices too. Overall, a very positive dining experience. The prices were a little more reasonable then a couple of other restaurants we visited during the week. Very good price/value relationship.

We found this place and were excited to try. I was impressed. The hostess was nice and seated us in a nice room with black and white leave wallpaper. I enjoyed the decor. The waitress offered great service. The meal was timed nicely. I think they ran out of the fish I originally wanted, but i was happy with my selection. The food was very good! We liked everything we ate. It's a byob. If I had to say anything negative, we thought it was a bit pricey for a byob. Though this place is very good and I am excited we found it. If looking for a nice dinner in Cape May, add it to your list of places to try!

This restaurant was across the street from The place we were staying. The ambience and the setting was perfection. The table on the porch overlooking the front garden and entrance on a beautiful evening was delightful. Then things fell apart....The menu looked yummy but the execution was lackluster. The foie gras was Not seasoned, came with a waffle the size of a quarter and was extremely disappointing. The mushroom ravioli entree was pedestrian at best. The duck l' orange lacked basic seasoning !! Unbelievable. We opted not to order dessert to prevent further disappointment . This may have been an off night for the Chef. I have been to many fine dining restaurants on both coasts - sadly this is not one I would recommend .

We ate here over the summer. Got easy reservations 2 days before. The hostess was nice and sat us at a lovely table. The decor was beautiful with art and lights. Waitress was helpful recommending dishes. The food was delicious, I had the scallops and. My husband the filet at poivre. We split oysters for our app. My only complaint was how fast they moved us through the meal, even though they were not full. We were Driving from CT and we made an early reservation so we knew we had dinner plans. We sat at 6:02, and had had apps and finished our entrees by 6:39, we could have stayed longer and had dessert, but at $187 for a 37 min experience felt like a lot. Overall good experience, just wish for it to last longer

02/14/2024 Located in The Hugh B&B, my wife and I, my sister and brother in law all enjoyed a very nice meal... with excellent service. My wife started with the Baked South Bay Salt Oysters, which she raved about for days after. I had the beet salad. Good, but no raving happening. My wife and I both had the Bouillabaisse, which was terrific. My SIL had the Duck l'orange, while my BIL had a 'pasta of the day'. It's a little tight sitting where we were, but the service was terrific. We were a little disappointed that there was no decaf coffee to be had. Not sure if they were out, but it seemed more like decaf just wasn't on the menu. Make plans for this wonderful BYOB restaurant.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner . I had the Duck which I thoroughly enjoyed. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable. The dining room is small, but cleverly decorated. Overall a very good dining experience; currently scheduling our return visit

Moody upscale dining right in downtown Cape May! This brand new spot features fancy French cuisine - something the town was lacking before! I would definitely recommend for a date night or fancy and romantic evening! We started with the steak tartare, which was heavily seasoned with herbs and Dijon, but that I enjoyed nonetheless. The wagyu cheeseburger was delicious. The coq au vin was super flavorful and gigantic! And the prime strip steak's Maitre D'Hotel butter was unforgettable. The definitely know how to do fresh RIGHT! Absolutely on the higher end price wise, and they're still working out some kinks with service, but overall I would still recommend for the only French on the beach and the romantic vibes!

This place was amazing, to die for. This is a must eat place in cape may, just make sure you reserve in advance of going. Everything from here tasted amazing. The tuna tartare was so fresh as well at the chips that came with it. The potato leek soup was so rich and and light at the same time. I would get this again. The muscles and fries were humongous, I definitely should of gotten less appetizers. I would get this again as well, the fries were super crispy and I got it as truffled flavor which was amazing. The muscles were fresh too This is a great date night spot!

The service was great and all the food was exceptional. The beans with the duck confit was a little salty but still good. Such a nice place!

This was the best dinner I've had in such a long while. Very unique dishes on the menu and my meal was delicious. The Endive Salad was tasty. A unusual blend of ingredients. My main course was Fluke cooked with a butter almond sauce and served with roasted potatoes, brussel sprouts and a sweet potato purée.

This year we decided to return for our anniversary and I'm sad to say this was our last visit to Provence. What a disappointment! We started with a $9 bread basket and the inside of the bread was frozen! We told our server and they brought us a new one at the same time as our appetizers. They really should have taken off the bill. We didn't even eat it. The appetizers (mussels, lobster ravioli, and french onion soup with mushrooms) were very good. The entrees were awful. The trout was really salmon (I know the difference although it can be subtle). It was overcooked and served with overcooked cous cous and frozen, shriveled peas. The short rib was over salted and topped with banana pepper slices straight from the jar and some kind of salty chips over a parsnip, mashed potato yuckiness. Also, we noted on the reservation that this was a birthday and anniversary dinner and it wasn't even acknowledged by the staff. It's evident the "chef" was not the same as our last visit. The food and the service were below average at best. It's a shame.

They were fresh, crispy on the outside, and soft and warm on the inside. All three sauces that came with them were out of this world, but I think my favorite one was the raspberry sauce. The prices for what you get aren't too bad either, it was $25 for bread, entree, and drink. I would definitely recommend trying this place at least once for a special occasion.

The appetizers we tried were the French onion soup, cream of broccoli, and mushroom cap. The other specials that night were a Brie appetizer and a Maryland soft-shell crab entrée I believe. Since we were going to be in the Millsboro, DE area, I was not sure I would find anything unique or interesting. I came across Kaisy's Delights on Yelp. The reviews were pretty good, and the most recent one I saw was about three months old. After looking at the menu and reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. When we arrived, the place immediately caught our attention. The building used to be a small bank, and the interior still has the original vault, which makes it really interesting. A young couple with a small child walked in just ahead of us, and the owner invited both of us into the vault. He showed us pictures and shared the story of his family and how the restaurant came to be, along with the inspiration behind the food. My wife ordered the Sweetie Kaiserschmarrn, and I ordered the Skier's Kaiserschmarrn. Kaiserschmarrn is a fluffy, caramelized Austrian shredded pancake, often called Emperor's Mess. It is made from a thick batter with separated eggs, torn into pieces while cooking, and served with powdered sugar and fruit. It has a light, almost soufflé-like texture. My order also came with two sausages. The meal was excellent. The owner was very interactive and enjoyable to talk with. My wife and I both grew up around restaurants, so we tend to notice the details. The place was very clean. The table setting and dining ware were simple and nice. The presentation of the Kaiserschmarrn looked like a mess, which is exactly how it is supposed to look, and it tasted wonderful. We really enjoyed both the food and the conversation. Hearing the owner's story and how he got to where he is today made the experience even better. I would highly recommend giving Kaisy's Delights a try. It's a nice setting that is definitely unique. We started with a tomato bisque. It was creamy, smooth, and a great hot soup to start off a chilly winter evening. My main course was the Duck Frites. A generous helping of fries, with a smaller helping of duck strips. The amount of duck was a little disappointing, but it had a good flavor and a touch chewy. It came with an unusual banyuls aioli sauce on the side, that I quite liked. We finished the evening with a crepe cake that was quite large. I would definitely recommend splitting it, but I found it to be lovely sweet way to end the evening. The crepe was probably about ten layers and soft enough to cut through with a spoon.
