Pezzo is bonkers on Friday night, so if you order carry out I suggest a modicum of patience mixed with a willingness to inquire politely about the status of your order. I could easily go overboard in eating their garlic knots, and so we rarely order them--too much temptation! A plain cheese pizza will absolutely do the trick, but last night my husband ordered a caprese pizza. Boy howdy was it good! Whether you want a slice of pizza, some garlic knots or a calzone, Pezzo Pizza is a great place to get a quick bite to eat. The service is great and the food is always fresh. The menu is HUGE. You name it, they likely have it. My favorite thing to order is the build-your-own calzone. I've been here at least 5 times and it's always excellent. I am not from the Northeast, so it took me a minute to figure out that they use Ricotta cheese on everything. In my humble opinion, Mozzarella is sufficient, no need for all of that Ricotta. But I learned and now it's all good. Anyways, Pezzo Pizza is the best cheap pizza/calzone in town. The guys that run the place are warm and friendly. In my estimation, it is one of the top 5 restaurants in the greater Hackettstown area whenever you take into consideration the price. read more

Enjoyed a very good meal.. Hubby and I shared the chicken Parmesan dinner, and the chicken francais dinner. Salad was fresh and he enjoyed the chicken tortellini soup. Prices are reasonable and we brought our own red wine! We will recommend and come back. read more

Good pizza with lots of fun pies to choose from... they do salad pizza, which I love and the tortellini pizza is lovely. Just order one slice tho because it's super rich. Kind people working there and it's convenient if you live in the valley. I'm picky about red sauce and it's ok here, 3 stars out of 5 on a sauce scale. Not the best but def not the worst, mama's in hackettstown has icky red sauce to me. The only downside is when you do pick up and it's crowded, you have to ask ten people if their next because there is no designated line. It's annoying. I hope they improve this one little thing. It def won't stop me from coming here, just annoying and only when they are super busy... like on a Friday night. read more

Always have done take out here but the food is real good. Not just their pizza, their other items taste good too. Seems to be plenty of traffic in and out, a good sign. We were in the Long Valley area and after reading several Yelp reviews decided to stop for a pizza lunch. What a find!! We were undecided about what type of pie so we did half buffalo chicken and have tortellini alfredo. The alfredo saw was delightful, flavored perfectly and didn't need any garlic or Parmesan. The buffalo chicken had a god blend of sauce and chicken and cheese with a little kick at the end. Service was great and would come back on a heartbeat!!! read more

Pezzo Pizza has been knocking it out of the park since they opened their Long Valley location. For years we had only "faux" Italian food to choose from. Even though there have been three or four take-out or eat-in places in town, none offered genuine pizza. Pezzo does a great job of preparing great pizza fast and their dinners and sandwiches are consistently good too. The only suggestions I'd make is to relocate a table and install a bench so people can wait for pick-up without interfering with the waiters, and, upgrade the experience by being a little more generous with basics like bread, sauce, and so on. read more

Pizza is pizza, and even when its bad it's pretty good. Except this place. There are three other pizza places within walking distance and I have to say, avoid Pezzo at all costs. I'll start this review by saying my wife and I ate there all the time prior to this. We were just there for dinner. I ordered a calzone with sausage and mushroom. I heard the waitress say to the other that a woman didn't want mushroom calzone and only a cheese. This I heard as they spoke from the kitchen. My calzone comes the the table with a whole end missing and contents pouring out. I refused the calzone, and told the woman I didn't want a calzone obviously someone else had taken a fork to and now served to me. That's the most unhealthy act for a restaurant to do. We will never be back, if this is the way they treat food and customers health. I have no idea if the other customer had taken bites with a folk they had just used for a different plate. Customer beware of this place. Monday I'm contacting the board of health and filing a complaint. read more
