I wanted to like this place so badly because the woman here is so sweet. But I'm not only upset but appalled by how terrible the service was the food and the price. The soda was gross. We ordered two entrees and after another review my sister and I thought it came with the meal only for her to charge us $13.50 for this salad. I also ordered garlic knots expecting six but she brought out 12. No problem she didn't ask and maybe I didn't clarify. The penne vodka was absolutely not all it was cracked up to be. And to make matters worse our drinks were empty long before we finished eating and the lady spent about 10 mins talking to a couple at the bar not checking in on us once. We asked the counter guy for to go boxes and to clear our check. He gave us the boxes and said the lady would close the check... we only waited about 5 more minutes for their convo to wrap up. I'm beyond mad and upset that this whole experience ran me $80. read more

My daughter and I stopped in after a few miles hike at Hacklebarney State Park. We were not quite put together since it was super hot outside and I was thinking it was basically a pizza joint. We walked into the dining room area and found a nice little restaurant with cloth tablecloths. I apologized to the owner for my appearance and she said not to worry, that I looked just fine :) We enjoyed the garlic knots first which hit the spot after those hills that we climbed. Our entrees both came with side salads and bread for the table. My daughter got the penne vodka which is her go to. She ranked it as one of her top 3 penne vodkas ever. I enjoyed my chicken parm and the bread for the table was delicious. Our server was very friendly and attentive, even though I felt not dressed right. You definitely don't have to dress up - but we were sweaty in leggings and hiking boots. But regardless they made us feel welcome and served delicious food. Came here a while ago, forgot to write a review. Food: food was pretty good, wife got penne vodka which might be my top 3 penne vodka's I've had surprisingly. My chicken was a little underwhelming, but overall okay. Aesthetic: gives me more of a vibe of a dive bar then a restaurant, one half being a pizzeria the other being the restaurant. Service: our waitress, who was older, was very nice. Some of the people when we walked in were giving us the stink eye and kinda felt uncomfortable at times, but it might have just been a bad day. read more

What an amazing hidden gem! Amazing pizza and such a sweet family running the place! We stopped by here with a group of 6 for a late lunch on a Saturday. There is plenty of space outside to sit and the view is gorgeous. We got some garlic knots and two pizzas to share. Both of the pizzas were so yummy but I've got to say that the Capri was definitely my favorite. It has Fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, prosciutto & olive oil. Awesome pizza! Picked up some pies here to enjoy over at Ort Farms. Super friendly owners in there. They were shaping the dough when I picked up, and it looked beautiful- stretchy, pale orbs waiting to be sauced and baked. I went with the classics, just cheese and pepperoni. They don't have the little pepperoni cups that I love, but their pepps seemed to be thicker that what you get at other spots, so that was a bonus. Crust is chewy, and the slices performed well when folded and devoured. The friendliness of the owners and the freshness of the pies will keep me coming here every time I'm in the area. read more

I feel like family whenever I come here. The food is delicious. They have a full bar and outdoor seating during nice weather! They aim to please. My family loves potato and egg pizza pies. When I first asked if they make it Lenny said not yet then made us the best one ever! We were immediately hooked on the place. My wife loves their flounder francaise. It's not something you see everyday offered in a pizza place. The fish is fresh and deliciously consistent. I can't say enough good things about our warm and friendly neighbor Italian restaurant. We went here for the first time last Friday. We will definitely be going again. My husband had the lasagna which was generous in portion size and absolutely delicious. I of course had to taste it! I had a simple salad with grilled chicken. It was really good, veggies were very fresh and the salad was properly dressed. The chicken was grilled so I was expecting it to be dry because it usually is at most places but this chicken was moist and flavorful. My brother in law had the chicken marsala and he loved it, I tried a taste of the sauce and it was perfect, not to sweet or salty and very well balanced. My sister in law had the eggplant rollantini and she also really enjoyed it. Their marinara is so good they should bottle it. We ordered coffee and my husband ordered their tiramisu. It was incredibly good! It was also a very large portion. The waitress was very good. She got everything right and was attentive without pestering us. This place is so good!!! read more

I am surprised no one has written a review for this place yet...I guess they're too afraid to disappoint Valley Pizza up the street. Heh. Keeping this short, been searching for decent pizza for well over a year now since moving to Chester...have tried every place in town and have been looking in Long Valley as well since it as local as Chester is to my house. Not restaurant has really wanted me to go back for pizza whatsoever, except for maybe the aforementioned Valley. Enough about them.... We tried Cornerstone on a whim one night and were pleasantly surprised (Pizza was cooked well, garlic knots were fantastic....their entrees looked extremely good as well.). They have a large menu of your standard pies as well as "gourmet" pies, then there's a whole entree menu. Prices are more than reasonable....the staff is nice and very attentive as well. Much better than most pizza joints in the area. And they have a patio to sit outside... Just went back this past weekend and were extremely pleased with the pie we ordered (including the garlic knots, again)....Looks like I have found my new pizza place. :) (Now to convert 'the Valley loyal' in-laws). read more

I was in the area and had a craving for pizza.My friends and I decided to stop in and give this place a try. This is a small restaurant in long valley with 10-12 tables with black table cloths. We were immediately seated and given menus from our server. She was very friendly and helpful because the menu had so many items on it. The owner Lenny was so nice and he reminded me of one of my relatives, very Italian with a heavy Italian accent, happy and easy going. On the wall is a map of Sicily . Lenny and I had a nice conversation about Italy, he is also the chef. There is a small bar with many different imported beers and liquor. I tried a new beer I wasn't familiar with called Marriotti it was good. The menu was varied and there are many choices to choose from including daily specials. All the favorite Italian classics and more. I was in the mood for pizza so I ordered an eggplant pizza with garlic to share. Another friend asked if they could make the meat tortellini with Alfredo sauce. Our server said yes. They were very accommodating. Our food came out promptly .The pizza smelled amazing! It had a wonderful crust and the eggplant was breaded and crispy. The sauce tasted fresh and had a good consistency.The garlic added a nice addition. The cheese was oozing. The The meat tortellini was cooked al dente and the Alfredo sauce was rich and delicious... There is some seating outside and a small parking lot. I always say u can't judge a book by it's cover. The outside is simple but once inside u can see the pride that is taken with each dish served. The food is really fresh and delicious. I wish I lived closer because I would be here all the time.
