    Chicken lettuce wraps

The restaurant was nice and quiet and looked clean. Our server was nice she put the order in right for the wonton soup full bowl but the kitchen made mistake and gave us a cup each which we were fine with having as stuff happens. The insisted they were making the big one and got to keep the cup. Lettuce wraps were great.

Overpriced Chinese food meant for those that don't know any better. We came for Happy Hour, and their "specials" are expensive and the serving sizes are small. The food is underwhelming, targeted to those that don't know any better. I had the pork dumplings (meh, nothing to write home about) and the crab wonton (what, there's crab in them?? WHERE??) The crispy green beans were pretty good though. My friend ordered the orange chicken and honey chicken. Her and her husband found no fault with their food; I chalked it up to them not knowing what "good Chinese food" is really like though. We also ordered a couple of non alcoholic beverages. They were overpriced and way too sweet. The server brought my friend a glass of coconut water to dilute her drink with. I, unfortunately, did not have that option. My peach boba breeze barely had any boba in it. I estimate maybe a table spoon of boba was floating on top. Save your money and drive the few minutes to the nearby bubble tea shop instead. Mainly came here out of curiosity, but will never come back again. The food is nothing special, and you can get way better authentic Chinese food on that side of town.

First time trying Pf Chang, had a different experience here. They serve the main dish first before the appetizer. The lettuce wrap is their signature dish. I had the chicken one and find it not appealing with lettuce and the sauce but it is way better if combined it with rice (my opinion). Overall, the ambience is great and clean, staff are friendly and accommodating.

Came here with my parents & cousins recently. Everyone enjoyed the meal! The atmosphere at the restaurant was vibrant and the place was very clean! Service was prompt, and servers were attentive to our table all evening! We came on a random Tuesday for happy hour; & our cocktails were tasty as well! We look forward to bringing back more friends and family in the future :) @yeg.baking

Clockwise- Kung Pao chicken, chili garlic beans, brussel sprouts app

Busy beyond belief in their first week w many inexperienced wait staff. So cut them some slack, People! Esp in the current difficulty getting staff - it's 2022. Weirdly 3 hostesses at lunch while servers are supplemented by managerial staff. Gotta say, Christian was super and running around. There are other staff who are clearly on the ball and monitoring the restaurant and service. Several people asked how our food was. So, we had a v different experience than the only other review here. We ordered 2 apps, 2 soups and a main w 20% tip, $70. My favourite has always been the garlic chili green Beans. A little heavy on the sauce. Now they have Brussel sprouts blackened in a wok - super well balanced w hint of sweet and a little sour. Soups - egg drop and hot and sour were good. Main was Kung Pao chicken which was plentiful and came w rice - white or brown. It is a great moderately priced meal for couples or families. I definitely would go back and they are sure to get even better as opening kinks are worked out. I think it's great that YEG has the third PF Changs in Canada. It shows we can support many great eateries and businesses.

It's a proud thing to say that this PF Chang's location is the first one in Canada. I've not had the chance to dine at an American location so I have no basis for comparison of the food here compared to the rest of the chain. PF Chang's is western-ized Asian food; expect an earl's type experience with Asian dishes on the menu. At many Chinese or Japanese restaurants we like to order multiple dishes and then a large side of rice to try many things, but the entrees here come with a side of rice or noodles and are meant to be one per person. Our food was pretty good, we tried the lettuce wraps, the Kung Pao shrimp and beef with broccoli. As a warning, the Kung Pao is very spicy. I crunched on one of the dried peppers and it took me a while before I recovered. I liked the flavor on the beef and broccoli (a little bit of sweetness with the ginger seasoning), and the lettuce wraps were delicious and fun to eat. As other reviewers commented, the prices are high for the portion sizes, our meal with two drinks, two entrees and one appetizer was $100. That being said I'd return for another meal.

I've never had bad Chinese food until now. The thing I don't understand is that the place was packed! Why do so many people come here! It's terrible Chinese food for upscale prices. I can go to a regular Chinese restaurant and pay close to half the price for food twice as good. I rarely complain at restaurants but this was so bad. The restaurant was busy on a Saturday night which is fair, but the food was so mediocre - I was hyped up to try PF Chang's- never again. White washed Chinese food is the best way to describe, but normally I love ginger beef and other more American influenced Chinese dishes. We ordered the shrimp appetizer, pork dumplings, shrimp pad Thai, Buddha veg bowl, and veg lo mai. Shrimp arrived early but we didn't get cutlery or plates to eat them until 15min later so they were cold. We ate maybe half the food because we were starving beforehand but we were charged full price. The manager tried getting me to try another dish at my own cost, I said I would not pay for any more bad food so we were comped a dessert to try. Will never be back. Everything on their menu should be good. In terms of ambience, they seated us in the patio area which was at least 5-10 degrees hotter than the rest of the restaurant (overhead heaters turned on full). It was raining today and 13 degrees, a bit too warm for my family. We left the $10 gift certificates x2 they attempted to give us to bring us back. I would never subject anyone to this terrible food.

Easy to find with Google Maps, you can see it as you get close. Lots of parking in front of the restaurant. Place was 10% full Monday at 5PM but it got to 50% full by 6PM. Waitress was Very attentive coming back probably half a dozen times over the hour we were there to make sure we were good. We shared the Vegetarian Lettuce wraps - meh. Was pretty dissapointed after it was highly recommended and a signature dish. Lettuce was crisp but really bland and full of hard ribs (white part). Tofu mixture was great but very bland. Sauce was very bland and watery and just made it very messy without adding any flavor. Would have preferred with rice or flatbread. Maybe just not my thing but not worth $20. 5/10. We also shared the Dynamite Rolls (8 rolls). 10/10 tasty but very small. Flavors were great and had quite the spicy kick. Loved this. We also shared the Orange Chicken that comes with white or brown rice and we opted for brown. Orange Chicken was 10/10 delicious. Chicken itself was hot, juicy, flavorful. Great orange flavor. Decent portion for $20. Loved that there was extra sauce at the bottom for dipping and for the rice. Rice was fine, bland but useful to soak up all that spicy Orange Chicken sauce. Sauce was a little too spicy for me. We also shared a pot of Jasmine green tea for $4.50. Cute tea pot and free refills - but make sure to pull the tea bag out yourself or that stuff gets potent! Overall entrees were top-notch and I would come again and try a few more.

I have heard so many great things about P.F Changs so when it came here naturally, I was excited to finally try it. I loved the atmosphere of the place. The decor is fun and the staff all seemed really nice. Everywhere I looked there were smiling faces and they seemed to work well together as a team helping each other out where needed. The food was also delicious. Yes it's a bit pricey but I felt the portions were a decent size. Their crab wontons were my personal favorite and I also really liked their spring rolls. I don't think I would come here every weekend but for a more special night out I would definitely revisit this place.

There's Asian food then there is PF Chang . Having opened in Edmonton in July 2022 , I finally got around to dining here. . Each location has a different mural at its entrance but the menu is the same. The food is made fresh each day - unlike other chain restaurants that have portions brought in and reheated to make it appear fresh. Our server Riley was great. Warm welcome and always a smile when talking to us . We started with the crispy green beans spring roll type appetizer - which was delicious I had the pepper steak ( with option of brown , white or fried rice or noodles ), with the noodles. My dining companions ordered the kung Pao chicken with white rice and the kung Pao shrimp with brown rice. The portions were a good size and piping hot . Each main entrees have the rice or noodles in a separate bowl ( more dishes to wash in the dish pit ). Absolutely delicious.. not drowning in sauces . Our server then brought over the dessert menu . We weren't too keen on having dessert but Riley told us about the strawberry cheesecake and we opted to order one and one " wall of chocolate cake " . I wish I had taken photos of the desserts because they looked and tasted amazing. Overall the food was fantastic. Service was great . The place was spotless . Oh before I forget .. The manager came by twice to see how everything was. Honestly he looked more like a curious customer rather than the manager . Price ? Well it's PF Chang so you can expect to pay a lot for it but the question is .. is it worth it ? Yes . But not on a regular basis.

Service was good only reason it was 2 stars, other than that food was below what was expected. I visited PF Chang's in California and this was a poor imitation of that experience. Overall vibe and atmosphere was good, not much to complain about. If you come here I would recommend the dynamite roll and the Mongolian beef, shrimp fried rice was bad and the duck was overpriced.

food was over cooked and not hot. Seems like it has been sitting in a warmer for a while. Not impressed with our take out at all.. we had a gift card so thought we would give it a try. Sadly we will never be back. the only thing that was okay was the WonTon soup. Keeps on getting better now my daughter found a black hair in her food

After much hype and excitement we finally got around to trying PF Changs. I didn't quite know what to expect but it was underwhelming The decor is pretty nice...open kitchen is always neat. The booths are all very shiny still and this place was absolutely packed! Hour and a half wait for a non reservation patrons. Luckily we had a reso but somehow got seated in the lounge area away from the kitchen but not a big deal Started out with the dynamite rolls as we wanted to try a cross section of what this menu had to offer. They were excellent! Spicy and savoury, with a delightful deep fried shrimp on top. Definitely would get those again. Very tasty The mains fell fairly flat compared to our appy. We got the famous Changs "spicy" chilli chicken. Not in any way spicy and just a soggy mess. The chicken itself was somehow dry and inedible really. We barely had any of it. The pepper steak was actually pretty good I thought, but certainly nothing note worthy. The Singapore street noodles were also just ok, a dish that would be forgotten very very easily. We finished with the Peking duck...I love Peking duck, I love duck in general and this was maybe the worst I've ever had. The duck had absolutely 0 flavour, cooked ok but otherwise not good. The little wraps it came with were so disgustingly greasy you couldn't eat them. Literally they just tasted like old cooking oil. The sauces they came with were almost inedible also. A Hoisin and Oyster Sauce concoction that had added sugar for some strange reason. Soooo sweet. The second was a combination of sambal and soy sauce which sounds pretty good but it was incredibly salty. I'm a salty fan and even I thought it was too much. My GF couldn't eat it. The price tag for the pleasure of this dish you ask? A shade under 50 bucks, complete waste of money and duck! Honestly this place is really cool looking and I read another reviewer say "it's kinda like the Earls of Asian cuisine" which I think is very accurate. Maybe more like a Asian fusion Moxie's but potato/potato. Our server Karla was really friendly and the service was good. The food came out in a very timely manner I thought especially for how busy it was. Unfortunately the food was just meh from an overall standpoint. If the bill wasn't 200 bucks for the food and a bottle of wine (wine prices are actually excellent btw) I might have bumped it up to a 3 review. End of the day it's just not worth it for the money, but definitely a place to check out if you don't mind stopping at sushi rolls and a bottle of wine. Cheers Andy

Definately worth the money if you are fine with the chef doing the choosing. Everything was super fresh. The only thing I think was just average was the tempura. It was no difference than the other places I have been to. Really worth making the reservation for, just keep in mind you may need to wait.

I ordres an assortment of them - red snapper, tuna and salmon for the sushi, California and Alberta rolls, and tempura shrimp cone. This time around I ordered the beef tataki, stir fried udon with chicken, miso soup and the 6 oz steak (for this one, a hot stone is brought to your table and you sear the steak on it; sauce are also available for this dish). I had green tea to drink and had green tea ice cream for desert. Service was very good and rapid, and very attentive and polite. And after our dinner, this place will be pretty difficult to beat. We came here for our anniversary dinner. My boyfriend put in a reservation earlier, and once we arrived we were seated pretty quickly. It was a Monday night but I was so surprised at how packed the place was. This was our first time here so the server explained how ordering on the slip works. Wait time wasn't terrible. And like I mentioned before, this place was so packed and full of people. All the servers that night were weaving through aisles, delivering food, and taking orders. They were all hustling. Food was delicious. We started off with a couple of rolls like California Rolls, Avocado, Tuna, Salmon, and Tamago. The sushi rolls were pretty small, but I didn't have a problem with it. Since it's AYCE, I knew that we'd have much more food coming. I was very impressed by the quality of fish. It tasted very fresh. Also we ordered the seared Beef Nigiri and that was delicious. We ended up ordering more of that later. For the next round, we ordered Edamame, Beef (? it was like a beef galbi cut but I forgot the name of it on the menu), Chicken Skewers, Green Onion Cake, and Tempura. For our Tempura veggies we chose pumpkin, yam, and eggplant. I loved the tempura. It was definitely a highlight of the night. The batter was very crispy, light, and all the tempura came out hot. It was wonderful. We ended up getting more after the first round of tempura because it was too good. The Chicken Skewers were phenomenal. My boyfriend and I were saying that if we had the Chicken Skewers with rice, that would just be enough. The flavor of the sauce was great: savory, slightly sweet, it was reminiscent of a teriyaki flavor for me. And lastly, we had the BC Roll, Alberta Roll, Crunchy Roll, Philadelphia Roll, the seared Beef Nigiri again, and a few other rolls. At this point of the dinner we barely had any steam left but somehow we managed. Every single we thing we ate was just amazing. I wasn't disappointed by anything we ordered actually it was just great. I will say the Crunchy Roll had this smokiness that scratched my brain in the best way possible and I was so impressed by that bite. This was such an unforgettable experience and the best place we've spent our anniversary haha. 10/10, take my money. To Sushi Toshi, I'll be thinking about you.
