The cheesesteaks that used to be full to the brim had then been stingy and the fries reeked and tasted of oil that had been reused wayy too many times. To add insult to injury, the prices had jacked up a ton. But, before hitting a road trip, we decided this would be one step above fast food so decided to give this place another shot. Huge mistake. Somehow, and at some point, someone decided that the steak that goes inside the cheeseSTEAK could be swapped with what looks, tastes, and feels like ground beef. True story. From the crumbly texture when chewing, the watery taste that could stem from what I think was a hurried attempt to semi-boil and/or thaw frozen meat, and the fact that 25% of the meat fell every time I took a bite, I'm almost certain they are using ground beef. At a minimum, it is clear they switched their meat and it is not for the better. I can only speculate that it was in response to complaints of stingy meat because they had filled our sandwiches to the brim with this meat. Unfortunately I'm going to be permanently removing this from my list of food options. This experience has even compelled me to write a review when I have not in quite some time. Wow.

The French Fries were decent. I was disappointed that Pepsi was not offered. Men's washroom was clean and paper towels were available... good. However there was only one urinal and only one commode which I think is deficient considering this location was busy late in the evening. I have a bone to pick about the personal appearance of some of the employees. I noticed that the majority of the guys failed to tuck their shirts in. I consider that to be a highly unprofessional look. This is something I am OCD about so I am dinging this establishment a point. If I was to assign a letter grade as is done in school this establishment would get a solid B.

CK & I were a bit skeptical, but we were surprised. Definitely one of the best breakfast burrito's I've had in the OC - especially when fresh! Made with your protein of choice, sunny side-up eggs, tater tots, pico de Gallo, cheddar cheese, and a flour tortilla - I ordered it with chorizo and CK ordered with steak. The steak are thinly sliced - not carne asada style like I assumed, but it was still good. My favorite had to be with the chorizo. Everything in the burrito was well put together and created a good balance. I think the star of the show in the burrito was the tater tots because they're the perfect crispyness and I think it's what the tied the breakfast burrito together. The breakfast burrito comes with a side of salsa verde, but there are additional condiment sauces above the trashcan. Definitely coming back for more when I visit!
