Food is outstanding. Had Denver omelette with hashbrowns and side order of three pancakes. Got cup of coffee also. Total cost was $21.40. The owner takes your order and is very efficient. Shes all business, no nonsense or chit chat or making conversation. She got my coffee and handed me my change. That was my cue to find a seat. Half & half Creamer is at the order counter. Food came out in about 10 minutes. Potatoes are amazing. The pancakes have what might be margarine on them. Its been awhile since i last had margarine so i've forgotten the taste. She gives you two containers of syrup which might be high fructose corn syrup but not sure. Loved the pancakes with syrup. Pancakes are light & airy cakes. Denver omelette had small bits of ham, diced onions & green bell peppers with melted cheese on top. The egg portion of the omelette is thin. Bathroom is dark and musty smelling. Probably needs to have the air ducts cleaned & some scented odorizer in the bathrooms. There is a fish in a fish tank near the order counter but there are no plants or rocks in the tank. She has Fox news on the TV the entire time. I've read other comments that the speaker on the drive thru crackles when you talk ir she talks. So, it needs to be replaced but i dont think she'll do it. The prices are 40% cheaper than Angelos on corner of Muirlands & El Toro. They both are diners with similar menus. read more

This place brings back a lot of great old memories for me. It's honestly sad to see how empty it has become these days. The burgers are still just as good as I remember, which says a lot about the consistency over the years. I really wish the owners would invest in renovating the space and bringing some life back into it. With a little attention to the atmosphere and some stronger marketing, this place could easily become popular again. It has so much potential and history--it would be a shame to see it fade away. But I know people that swear by their burgers. I've always found the service, for lack of a better word "amusing" It's one of the ways they keep their overhead down, and that's why their prices are very good as well ! The owner is such a sweet lady; my son and husband has picked up take out several different occasions and we got so much extra fries, extra fried zucchini and extra onion rings!! Their burgers are delicious! They use red onions, patty has a nice smokey char flavor, and the price point is ridiculously reasonable in this 2026 economy! The avocado is fresh, the lettuce wrapped double cheeseburger was assembled neatly with care and had grilled onions. Honestly prefer this place now over all burger places around. My son and his friends used to walk here after school. They love the owner because she was always so nice to them. Last week I drive 5 of the kids to an away basketball game and stopped at a Carls Jr in the way. My bill was $80 and i was given the wrong drinks! Today I brought the same 5 kids to Burger Town on the way to their game. I got 5 cheeseburger specials, all with different drinks, and each burger was different (no tomato but add bacon, only onion, only lettuce, etc) and my bill was $46! The burgers and fries were so much better too! AND our complicated order was perfect! Yes, the food takes a little longer than the average drive through but the food is made to order. The kids inhaled their burgers because they were so good! We always get great service here because we come often and the owner remembers us, especially when there's a car full of kids in school uniforms. I have driven by this locally owned Burger stop for years and I never went in. I finally did and I'm glad. The place is huge and spacious inside so you can find a table and you don't have to sit next to anybody. But you got a TV playing so you can get your Fox TV on during the day. The lady (I believe she is the owner) who took our order was friendly and very patient as we looked over their large menu. I had the pastrami burger and it was delicious. However, when you consider that they cook all the food fresh per order. No mountains of food waiting under heat lamps like most fast food chains.
