Definitely a no frills sandwich place. Sometimes you just want a classic sandwich, nothing bougie, no fancy sauces or bread...just a good ol fashion sandwich. That's what you get here. The ingredients were fresh and my squaw bread was so soft! I also like that they carry the "dirty" brand of potato chips. Service is also incredibly friendly. Parking in this plaza sucks. read more

This place is a hidden gem frequented by local businesses. Cozy little place that's clean! Having been open for around 15 years they know how to do sandwiches. The food here is great! I had a club sandwich and everything was fresh. Sourdough was fluffy and toasted to perfection. Fresh crispy bacon topped it off. If you're lucky enough to be served by Sue she's amazing, energetic and charming! They have a large menu to include breakfast but get here early they close @ 3:30. There are lots of healthy choices available. Definitely coming back for a sandwich fix. They do Uber Eats & Door Dash as well. read more

A very dishonest deli, ordered 2 sandwiches and looking back on the receipts I realized I was charged $3 more than what I ordered. When asking if they still made brkfst burritos (@ 1:30 pm in the afternoon) while they were making my sandwiches, I was told yes, so ordered one off the $8.95 chalakboard price,, was charged $9.95 though and was told it was overtime price, even though nobody else was in there w/me. Saw all the amazing reviews so decided to give it a try for lunch. I ordered online for pickup and it was ready within 15 minutes (maybe even less) before 12pm. Short line inside to pick up and the woman working was so nice to everyone. It was very small inside with a couple tables so I'll most likely be ordering to go all the time. I got the turkey pesto wrap and a strawberry banana smoothie. The banana smoothie was delicious! I'd definitely order that again. I will probably skip the turkey pesto wrap next time as it just had a kind of off-putting flavor. It said it came with Swiss cheese but there was like cheddar or fiesta blend or something, but not Swiss and it kind of ruined it for me? Either way it was okay and I'd love to come back to try something different. The flavors all tasted fresh so I'm sure other things are more delicious. Definitely worth trying! read more

I've been here many times, sometimes trying different sandwiches, and have never been disappointed. They consistently use fresh vegetables such as avocados, lettuce, tomato, and sprouts and they'll happily accommodate custom requests. Service is always quick and very friendly with a smile but can get a little busy during the weekday lunch hour. They offer salads, breakfast sandwiches/burritos too. You honestly can't go wrong here. read more

Corned beef was order with mustard and pickles only. Came with 2 pickles, mayo, tomato and lettuce. Cold as well! Corned beef is a hot sandwich and surely doesn't get mayo unless you are a OC white person! The Mac salad was boring! Simply cooked macaroni and a liquid mayo type dressing. No seasoning ! Try adding come color peppers- celery, pepper and salt for some darn flavor. Would have given one star but my wife said her salad was good! You guys should revamp your menus to see what's going on in the sandwich world! read more

Came for the Lake Forest BOGO deal, stayed because this hidden gem reeled me in like a hungry submarine captain spotting treasure. The staff? Absolute legends. The Submarine sandwich? Titanic in size, but thankfully no iceberg--just pure deliciousness. Huge, fairly priced, and worth every bite. Already been back twice, and trust me... this ship will be docking here a lot more often. read more

Recently had a wrap, ALMOST ALL LETTUCE. They as a rule are sparse on their meats and cheese, but if you order late in the day , it can be worse. I think the chef doesn't want to open any more product, so puts the little he has left, and then fills it up,with LETTUCE . COULD NOT FIND the cheese, avocado, tomato, sauce, and very little meat. Tasteless. Not fair to the customers to chins on the ingredients . If you can't offer a complete item, tell the customer. I'd never spend my hard earned dollars on a wrap such as this. read more

This little neighborhood deli has some good sandwiches and salads for the lunchtime crowd and some breakfast offerings for those who venture in during the morning hours. The interior is simple with a handful of tables and they currently have a couple more outside under a small tent. The two workers (owners?) were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It was early afternoon so I ordered a corned beef sandwich on rye with a bag of chips and fountain drink, very reasonably priced. I ate at one of the tables inside. The sandwich was piled high with corned beef and the rye bread was fresh and soft. I had to handle the bread delicately so as not to spill out the contents. Lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard and mayo added to the flavor although the mayo was a bit heavy. This simple, no frills, old-school style sandwich shop will deliver the goods with a smile which will make you smile too. read more

No frills. Just sandwiches. The cutest mom-and-pop deli! Their sandwiches are upfront and honest, exactly how they're described on the menu. Every bite is refreshing and light. I got the Manhattan on sourdough. Generous layers of meat with fresh veggies that are all sandwiched between fluffy slices of bread. The best lunch I've had in a while! This is a nice family owned deli. They have some delicious looking sandwiches and other fanfare. I tried the honey mustard chicken salad and it was a very fresh salad. If you couldn't see them making it in the back you would have still known it was hand made right on the spot for you. Very refreshing and the dressing complimented it nicely! Lots of parking being It's in a strip mall and a great place to get out of the heat and enjoy something on the lighter side! read more

Grabbing breakfast with the SO on our trip. We ordered: 1. Sausage and egg on everything bagel (no cheese or mayo), 2. BLT + avocado on sour dough, 3. Citron tea (cold), and 4. Freshly squeezed OJ I liked all the options available. Their egg sandwich was great with real fried egg. Super delicious sausage. Just one of my favs! The veggies in the BLT was super fresh and as crunchy as the bacon. They strain the OJ. So maybe if we come again we'll ask for some pulp. Service here is excellent. Super nice and very accomodating. They were helping their customers carry food to the car. Would highly recommend for a quick, to-go breakfast. read more

First time. Great experience! I instantly was greeted with a warm welcome. The kind you only get from a true local deli. Good variety to the menu so I'll be coming back to try more! Got a bacon breakfast burrito (not pictured) which was solid. Tuna avocado sandwich pictured here was excellent. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Not one to really write reviews buuuuuut... Wow! They delivered! Arguably the best sandwich on squaw bread I've ever had. The turkey tasted insanely fresh and buttery. The lettuce and pickles had a freakin great crunch. Perfect avocado and their mayo was really good! The only time I have ever regretted not getting a larger size sandwich. Eating half is plenty for me so can get two meals out of it! I will be returning VERY soon. read more

I understand that it may not be possible to offer two flavors on a small pizza because of its size, but wouldn't it be possible to offer a half-and-half option on a large pizza? Almost every pizza restaurant we have visited allows customers to choose two different flavors on a large pizza. Being able to choose two flavors on one large pizza would allow customers to enjoy more variety without having to order two separate pizzas. I'm not sure what the reason is for not offering this option, but I think adding a half-and-half option for large pizzas would make many customers, including us, even more satisfied. Overall, we had a very nice evening celebrating my husband's birthday, and we really enjoyed the food. I hope the restaurant will consider offering this option in the future.

Besides the owners being fabulous people, the sandwiches here are PHENOMENAL! My wife and I have made a game out of ordering from the menu there to see if we can find a bad sandwich no matter what the ingredients. We have yet to find a single thing that isn't good here, even the vegetarian stuff (we are NOT vegetarians!). Their pricing is very reasonable and the sandwiches are nice and filling. I was so excited to try this place due to the yelp reviews-- however I was incredibly disappointed. I got the turkey wrap, salad, and a small potato salad. The potato salad tasted like it had gone bad a few days ago, and there seemed to be sand or something in it? It was like small, crunchy, granules in my first (and only) bite of it.
