The first time was to shore up some poor work done on the house before we bought it. The work was done for a good price and he and his team did a little extra work to shore up some of the small issues that would have become larger issues had we not had them come out and take care of this for us. The second time was to look at what could have been a very expensive drain issue had the worst turned out. Thought it was a collapsed line but Earl diagnosed that it more than likely was not a collapsed line. They came out and were able to fix it by pulling out a piece of small pipe that would block and unblock the line that must have been accidently dropped in main line when the bathroom was last replumbed. As long as Earl is working I know who I am going to have do all my general contracting needs.

He was there the following morning (Sunday!) , and after 3 hours of work, resolved the problem. He explained that his goal was to always leave a customer 100% satisfied , even if the problem was not related to his work. Believe it or not, he refused to take payment for his labor. I challenge you to find a contractor that meets this standard.

What has happened to this business. We were very satisfied, but believe the business has changed…read morehands. Now, when you phone for service, no telling who is going to show up, or if they have credentials. Long story short, called them out to repair a leaking shower, they tightened some fittings and forecast they would need to replace mixing valve soft goods. They came back, replaced soft goods and while it appeared the leak was taken care of, we started noticing dampness along the baseboard and carpet in the adjoining room, the shower made funny noise, and things just did not seem to add up. Stopped using the shower altogether, still noticed signs of wet, and figured there was something leaking in the wall. Did I call Ken's? No. Why? Workmanship suspect. We called another plumber, they came in and found mixing valve stem and mixing valve not properly reassembled therefore we had a leak. Ken's never again.

Who NOT to Call with Plumbing Problems. . . . . . …read more Recently, my father had some plumbing issues with one of his bathrooms. We called a septic company to drain the septic, the bathroom seemed to work okay, but continued to occasionally back up. With the holidays approaching and family coming to visit, we needed this taken care of so we called Ken's Plumbing & Heating Enterprises. We explained the problem and they sent out a technician. When the technician arrived, we immediately showed him the trap to the bathroom, which was slightly rusty. Instead of messing with the rusted trap, he proceeded to snake the toilet as well as snake through the roof. The total cost came out to $250.00. Unfortunately, the repair did not fix our problem and we continued to have issues with the bathroom. The morning of the 31st (1 day later), we called Ken's Plumbing & Heating, again, and they told us that they do not warranty septic, drains, and/or their work. In addition, because it was New Year's Eve, we would be charged a holiday charge (double pay) to have a technician out to re-service the repair they never fixed the first time. Since when has New Year's Eve been considered a holiday? Anyhow, I explained to Ken's Plumbing that we never told them it was a septic/drain issue, we called a plumber to take care of the problem and they didn't. They stated that they probably could not get ahold of anyone. Basically, we were SOL. Our issue needed to be taken care of so we called Roto-Rooter. Roto-Rooter immediately came out fixed the problem and used the trap, which was pointed out to the other tech at Ken's Plumbing but he disregarded. Not only did Roto-Rooter charge us less and warranted their work for 6 months, they fixed the problem the first time. My father is an elderly man and has many health issues. I feel that Ken's Plumbing & Heating Enterprises came out, did not do their job, charged for the service, and then refused to come back out to correct what they were paid for. How can a company not warranty their work (I can understand if it was a month or even a week later, but a day)? Long story short, if you have ANY plumbing problems/needs call someone who warranties their work, who will do it right, and not be rude!!!!!

This 2 star review is for Leonard and owner's only! Not Daniel the technician, I had an issue…read moreyesterday 7/29/26 after my technicians left, my air conditioner wasn't cooling great, it was when they left though, so Daniel definitely did a wonderful job, so I felt horrible to have to call back and request them to come back just to do a recheck on my air conditioner, not the technicians fault at all, when I called Leonards I'm assuming it was the owner that answered, I told him the situation, and I wasn't sure what to do? He very rudely replies "Well, if the pads are wet there is nothing else we can do!", I said to him, "I don't know if the pads are wet! How am I supposed to know that", he tells me "if you be quiet I'll tell you", wow! I laughed to myself because how I wish I could have spoke to a customer like that whenever I felt like it, when the technicians initially came out all was good when they left, but it was then little by little I could feel warm air,and I know my air conditioner, I know when something is not right, so the technician Daniel comes back out, I explain to him it's 87 degrees inside my house, he goes up on the roof, and does whatever, when came back down the temperature had began to come down, this was in noway Daniel's fault, in the first place, shit happens, but for whatever reason, the temp came down, but I was so upset at the way Leonard had spoke to me, I felt like I maybe was a little ticked off when Daniel came but not at him, but because I was dying of heat, and could not believe I had given my business to this business because before they got paid for the job it was all cool, they would answer my phone calls, text messages the minute they got paid, no one would answer my texts, or pick up the phone until finally Leonard does, needless to say he needs customer service skills, because he has none! And just so you know the $120 they quote you for the service for ac service is only for an hour if they go over an hour they want another $120 more! Ridiculous! Because noone from that office ever stated that, ever! Daniel was the savior of the day, not Leonard or his business, I will never call them again. Unfortunately I do not want my review to be cast on Daniel, He gets 5 stars, but in good conscience I cannot give the business 5 stars, so Daniel if you read this dude, nothing to do with you, you were a good sport, wonderful technician, as a matter of fact, as I look back at previous reviews Daniel you seem to be the one people are happy with, and with having to go back up on my roof in 100 degree weather, and me dying of heat, and fuming from dealing with the business directly! You are a 5 star trooper Daniel! And stuff happens, I blame noone for that, any customer knows that, but when an issue arises, and we call the owner hours after and he replies well there is nothing we can do, without knowing what was going on! That is bad customer service and there is no excuse from the owner and his people, I hope they don't treat you the way they treated me! I definitely would not call Leonards again!

I reached out to 4 different solar companies but couldn't get anyone to follow thru. I finally reached #1 Plumbing. I was able to get an appointment when the tech actually showed up and get an estimate on what it would cost to replace my inverter. The techs showed up when they said that would, fixed my inverter and helped me with the app. I am so grateful that this is done. Plus they were great to work with. Very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend them if you have any issues with your solar system. I'm already planning on having them come back to clean out my dryer vents.

I felt like they were inappropriate, so I called #1 to review the "other" companies work. They were able to point out the flaws that would block my new heat pump from being green-tagged.
