I've had Earl Freeman and his team come out twice to my house to get some work done and both times…read morethey have done an amazing job. The first time was to shore up some poor work done on the house before we bought it. The work was done for a good price and he and his team did a little extra work to shore up some of the small issues that would have become larger issues had we not had them come out and take care of this for us. The second time was to look at what could have been a very expensive drain issue had the worst turned out. Thought it was a collapsed line but Earl diagnosed that it more than likely was not a collapsed line. They came out and were able to fix it by pulling out a piece of small pipe that would block and unblock the line that must have been accidently dropped in main line when the bathroom was last replumbed. As long as Earl is working I know who I am going to have do all my general contracting needs.

3 weeks after the completion of my remodel, I encountered a developing plumbing problem that had…read morebeen forming for the previous 23 years. I called Freeman's and explained my situation. He was there the following morning (Sunday!) , and after 3 hours of work, resolved the problem. He explained that his goal was to always leave a customer 100% satisfied , even if the problem was not related to his work. Believe it or not, he refused to take payment for his labor. I challenge you to find a contractor that meets this standard.

What has happened to this business. We were very satisfied, but believe the business has changed…read morehands. Now, when you phone for service, no telling who is going to show up, or if they have credentials. Long story short, called them out to repair a leaking shower, they tightened some fittings and forecast they would need to replace mixing valve soft goods. They came back, replaced soft goods and while it appeared the leak was taken care of, we started noticing dampness along the baseboard and carpet in the adjoining room, the shower made funny noise, and things just did not seem to add up. Stopped using the shower altogether, still noticed signs of wet, and figured there was something leaking in the wall. Did I call Ken's? No. Why? Workmanship suspect. We called another plumber, they came in and found mixing valve stem and mixing valve not properly reassembled therefore we had a leak. Ken's never again.

Who NOT to Call with Plumbing Problems. . . . . . …read more Recently, my father had some plumbing issues with one of his bathrooms. We called a septic company to drain the septic, the bathroom seemed to work okay, but continued to occasionally back up. With the holidays approaching and family coming to visit, we needed this taken care of so we called Ken's Plumbing & Heating Enterprises. We explained the problem and they sent out a technician. When the technician arrived, we immediately showed him the trap to the bathroom, which was slightly rusty. Instead of messing with the rusted trap, he proceeded to snake the toilet as well as snake through the roof. The total cost came out to $250.00. Unfortunately, the repair did not fix our problem and we continued to have issues with the bathroom. The morning of the 31st (1 day later), we called Ken's Plumbing & Heating, again, and they told us that they do not warranty septic, drains, and/or their work. In addition, because it was New Year's Eve, we would be charged a holiday charge (double pay) to have a technician out to re-service the repair they never fixed the first time. Since when has New Year's Eve been considered a holiday? Anyhow, I explained to Ken's Plumbing that we never told them it was a septic/drain issue, we called a plumber to take care of the problem and they didn't. They stated that they probably could not get ahold of anyone. Basically, we were SOL. Our issue needed to be taken care of so we called Roto-Rooter. Roto-Rooter immediately came out fixed the problem and used the trap, which was pointed out to the other tech at Ken's Plumbing but he disregarded. Not only did Roto-Rooter charge us less and warranted their work for 6 months, they fixed the problem the first time. My father is an elderly man and has many health issues. I feel that Ken's Plumbing & Heating Enterprises came out, did not do their job, charged for the service, and then refused to come back out to correct what they were paid for. How can a company not warranty their work (I can understand if it was a month or even a week later, but a day)? Long story short, if you have ANY plumbing problems/needs call someone who warranties their work, who will do it right, and not be rude!!!!!
