After decades with State Farm for home, renters, auto, and umbrella, I was unceremoniously dropped, despite zero home owner's claim filed. I live in a fire zone, so I get it. But my complaint is that an agent here (not Stephanie, who is very nice) recommended me a broker, and actually talked me out of calling other insurance companies on my own. When the broker came up empty, she then referred me to the Fair Plan broker, who is the son of the owner of this agency. When I later complained to her that I lost precious weeks that I could have done the research on my own, she said that she works for State Farm and can't be expected to know about other companies. Now that there's a big lawsuit filed against State Farm dropping clients and pushing them onto Fair Plan, I can see why I was actively discouraged from seeking other insurance providers. If you're one of those people who were recently dropped, do NOT take this agency's advice. Do your own research. I got coverage from Farmers insurance, which was about four thousand dollars less than what Fair Plan + State Farm would have cost. It's sad that they treat their long-time clients so shabbily. read more

Scheduling the appointment was easy - once we met I found it was well worth the time (this was my first ever appointment with an agent). Phil is friendly and professional and took the time to explain my policies and answer any questions. I wasn't pressed to purchase anything, or rushed out the door for asking too many questions. Phil helped me to lower my premiums by a fair amount while increasing some coverage. Our small business asked Phil's agency for a owners (BOP) quote, after previously referring others to the agency and receiving thorough service and timely response. We provided the information requested and didn't hear an answer. We sent two followup emails. The second email was answered that the quote wouldn't be offered because they (the underwriter) had looked at our website and concluded that our suppliers were customers, and there was no followup from Stephanie. Their competitors asked questions and we provided the answers to receive alternate quotes. I finally had my first car accident after over 30 years of driving experience! I was traumatized, disoriented, and lost.
