The Philadelphia lens library was a last minute savior. They did not require a deposit which is almost unheard of in the business making their service accessible and easy and with the Philadelphia lens library you have access to great gear. I rented two 300mm Canon lenses for a sports photography session. I am glad to now have a relationship with them and will use them again and again. They were friendly and helpful. PLL offers some of the best service around. If you live in Philly, don't waste your time with a lens delivery service. I sent Conrad an email around 10 pm inquiring about renting a lens for the next day (very last minute!) and received a phone call within 5 minutes of my email! Conrad met me the next morning, gave me some helpful tips on the lens, I signed some paperwork and paid, and have the lens to use for a few days! I will absolutely rent from him again! read more

Not as thrilled as the other commenters. I communicated with the owner about renting a certain lens, 35mm 1.4. When I arrived for pick up, THAT lens was not available but there were other dust covered options bearing duct tape that were offered. None were comparable to my interest or need. I felt a little like this was a bait and switch. I should have been told up front the other lens was not available IF he even has it to begin with. read more

I've rented from the Philly Lens Library several times (as well as some online lens rentals and even Videosmith). I always come back here, though. Conrad is very fast to respond and provides a smooth transaction. I live in West Philly so his location is super convenient, and he has definitely saved my butt right before a shoot!
