Paul and his team made a 10' knotty pine dining table and 48" square white oak and steel coffee table for my beach house, and we couldn't be happier with their work or working with them! Paul offers great suggestions and his priority is to get the finished product exactly as you want. Hope I have more projects to work on with him.

    Custom media unit

Paul and his team built us a custom media unit and we could not possibly be more thrilled. When we first met with Paul he was attentive, thoughtful, and worked hard to learn about our preferences and style. Paul kept us in the loop throughout the entire process. We had heard great things about PTC so we had reasonably high expectations, but the actual media unit turned out even better than we anticipated. We genuinely cannot wait to order our next piece of furniture.

I have to give a 5 star shout-out to Paul and his crew for the amazing job they did on the counters and wall panels at my soon to open restaurant. Their pricing is more than fair for the high quality work they turn out. I'm already thinking of new projects I can use them for at the business and at home. I love dealing with small local businesses where the owners put their own sweat into every project. Thats exactly what you get with Paul at the Philadelphia Table Co. I can highly recommend them to anyone looking to give their home or business a great authentic wood crafted feel.

Paul and his team brought my vision for our new office to LIFE. My original idea didn't maximize the space in the best way possible and the resulting design fits so much better with the windows and lighting plan while offering us more flexibility in the future. The process was collaborative, seamless, and, ultimately, fun. Delivery/install was timely and they were extremely flexible when our construction schedule was delayed by a couple days. Communication with them is top notch. Text, calls, emails however you prefer to contact. We are so pleased and excited to wrap up our new space and get to work. I'm currently dreaming up an idea for my TV wall and can't wait for Paul And his team to get building.

This review is long overdue. I had purchased a new home in Philly so wanted something special. I was referred to Paul and his team for a custom dining table - I ended up with something awesome with Philadelphian history (1800s Douglass fir)! Paul listens to your wants/needs then offers you suggestions either from a design or functionality perspective. We went through a few rounds of communication as I was making minor tweaks throughout the process. I am super happy with the final product - definitely not something you can find in a generic mass produced retailer!

Fast, detailed, collaborative, creative, and fairly priced furniture maker. They made a large dining table for me inspired by a design I showed them. Paul is the man! I will be using them again.

I had been looking for the perfect table and could not find it. Who knew that the answer was right here in Philadelphia. Paul worked with me to create a design based on several table styles and sizes that I liked. He made suggestions to accommodate my budget and the result is a table that I love!

Our beautiful "French farmtable" in our South Philly Rowhome.

My husband and I were in the market for a new dining table for our South Philly rowhome and I stumbled upon Paul and his business on Instagram. They had recently made some furniture pieces for a local hotel that were beautiful and caught my eye. I reached out to Paul with a photo of an antique French farm table and asked if he could replicate the design and look of the table. He took on the challenge and the end result was gorgeous! He was able to source the wood that matched the photo most accurately and gave attention to adding in some "antiqued-looking" details. Paul was easy to work with and very communicative throughout the whole process. He invited us to come see the piece in his shop on a few occasions to make sure we were ok with the progress (and of course we were- he followed our requests to a "T"). His pricing was very reasonable- I feel the table was worth exactly what he charged. They delivered the table to my home at a convenient time for me and assembled it in my living room quickly and easily. My husband and I are very impressed by his work and service to his clients and would highly recommend this amazing small business to anyone! I just know we will enjoy this locally-made piece long after we leave the city in the future and it will always remind us of our first home in South Philly! Thanks, Paul and crew!

    New frame, new legs!

We had been searching for a dining room table that would not only fit in our south philly row home, but one that didn't scream "IKEA" or "Raymour & Flanigan." I had an idea of turning a cool antique door into a table, but no idea how to start. Enter Paul and his amazing crew. He loved the idea, and suggested making a frame of reclaimed wood from the historic Lincoln Train Shed, topped with glass. Paul also put in extra time and research to find the best glass option for us. He even had the foresight to design the table so we could someday easily remove the door if we wanted, but retain a wood/glass table. We started out with hairpin legs but after a few weeks of use, Paul was more than happy to build us a new frame with wooden legs and make the swap. I didn't know what to expect to pay for a custom table, but it was significantly less than what R&F charged for a bland, cookie cutter factory made set. He and his crew are so great to work with, all very professional and clearly love what they do. They listened to what we wanted/needed and were flexible if we requested changes. I love that we own a unique piece of furniture locally built with artistry and craftsmanship, and that we got to be a part of its concept and design. It's better than I had ever imagined. The door is from the Midwest like me, the wood frame is from philly like my boyfriend, and put together as a table, it has made our home, ours. THAT is why you get a piece custom made. Thank you Philadelphia Table Company for our beautiful dining room table!!

The older couple who own this store are quiet and friendly but give you the time to browse around without hovering. They were open to answering any questions I might have had also. I contemplated if I had a space for some things in my house if any. Lots caught my eye, and I could appreciate the character throughout the store. I zoned in on this dainty, cool glass wall planter and decided to pick it up comparing it to another- both similar the same shape but different painted designs. I imagined the wall space for it and decided it would be perfect for a rooting Pothos plant! It was small enough to carry on the plane also. If I fancied anything else, I would have found a way to get it back to California. I l later discovered it's a blown glass piece by Jason Probstein. I'm delighted to discover there are galleries with his artwork here in California also! If you're wandering around the Old City area of Philadelphia, this is a gem of a store to browse. You might find something you like! There's so much character in here!
