Although I was with the daughter, we ended up with almost the same items I order with the husband -- starting with Jinya Buns and Spicy Creamy Shrimp Tempura, followed by the Birria Ramen and Jinya Tonkotsu Black, ending with the Matcha Tiramisu. Isabelle was engaging and attentive. She suggested a hack of dipping the Jinya Bun in the yummy ramen broth, which my daughter enjoyed. Overall, I found everything to be deliciously consistent with the Cali location, except for the Matcha Tiramisu. I actually found Nashville's better constructed. Although both were super tasty, the texture of the ones in Cali were soft, with the cream almost like a thick soup. Great experience! I'm glad to have JINYA so easily available whenever I visit Nashville. Parking was easy in the large structure across the street -- the first 2 hours are free.

It is a steamed bun stuffed with braised pork chashu, cucumber and baby mixed greens and served with JINYA's original bun sauce and mayonnaise. I highly recommend trying one. At first he was fine, and he asked if it was okay if we were in his video shots while we were at the buffet. I'm a content creator for fun, so I get wanting to get b-roll of the common areas and people might be in it, so we gave him the okay with that assumption. This guy proceeds to follow us back to our table and film us grilling the food and eating. We kept politely asking him to let us be so we could enjoy our meal together, but eventually had to aggressively say he should leave us alone. This whole time, our server was nowhere to be found. I know that's a very niche one-off experience but it really turned me off from our dining experience. I had originally planned to do an organic reel/tiktok to highlight the spot on my personal channels but scrapped it after that experience. Meat quality was just okay, not bad but I've definitely had better quality from AYCE. There's a place in Clarksville we enjoy that we'll probably stick to, even with the drive in mind.
