From the atmosphere to food and service everything was amazing! It's a cute place for date night and group dinners too. The service was fast and attentive the servers were knowledgeable of the menu and I'm pleased with my choices. The chicken fried rice and Kung pow chicken was delicious. The steak and green beans were cooked to perfection and was very flavorful. I can't wait to come back and try other menu items. Love that they box the items to go.

Fantastic dining experience with a great vibe! The food and service both were exceptional. I tried the Miso Salmon and my wife got the Steak and green beans. We shared and also had crispy Brussels sprouts and other sides. For dessert we tried the baked Alaska with table side service turning it on fire! Worth the splurge! Park right across the street, restaurant will comp most of the parking fee or street park if open.

Location in Cummins station. The parking lot across the street. After validation it was under $10. The Asian aesthetic beautiful. Party of 5 had reservation and we still waited 20mins to be seated. While finally we got to be seated our server waiter was a positive nice energetic waiter. But then after reviewing our menu our guy had to take care of some other table which took another 20mins. Our group was beyond ready to eat and waiting patiently to place our drink and food order. Once food got ordered it came out within 15mins. Plates are made to share family style. We ordered a few dishes and I will say my favorite dish was the kung pao chicken. The spicy sauce it came with so good combination to go with our buk choy veggies and rice. Our friend celebrated her bday dinner and com her a wonderful tasty chocolate cheesecake. Our lychee martini was a nice refreshing addition.

Upon arrival I was left speechless interior design, the ambiance and decor was truly top tier. My guest and I noticed that the dress code wasn't really a standard as there were tables in athletic wear, gym shoes and sneakers. Our server also wasn't super knowledgeable of the menu and recommended alot of generic dishes but not much of a personal touch. The best bites were the salmon crudo and duck spring rolls, but other than that the food reminded me of everyday asian cuisine nothing really stood out or blew me away quality of everything was phenomenal . 7/10

Love the decor and the ambiance. There was 3 ppl total in my party. We sat at the bar until our table was ready and it took us a minute to get seated, even with a reservation. Our waiter more than made up for the rocky start bc he was amazing and so was the food. We wanted to try a little bit of everything so we ordered a little bit of everything. We started with the: - Beef satay - 5 stars I was unsure about the peanut sauce but it was phenomenal - Crispy Duck Rolls - 5 stars - King Salmon Crudo - 5 stars Entrées we ordered: - Vegetable Lo Mein - 5 stars - Sweet and Sour Chicken - 4 stars - Kung Pao Chicken - 4 stars - Appalachian Lamb Chops - 5 stars cooked to perfection I want to come back with my husband as they do has vegan options. This would be perfect for a date night. Also, they do have valet for $20 (2hr I believe) but there's also street parking. I did street parking which was $7 for 2 hrs. I will definitely be back.

Wanted to love this place but our service wasn't great. The server disappeared for long periods of time and at times forgetting what we had requested before leaving the last time. I was there for an event so we decided to stay and have dinner. We had several appetizers at the event and they were ok. The Brussel sprouts and rice were pretty good. Really esthetically pleasing space. I would give them another chance to redeem themselves.

We had a great experience at Philippe Chow and will definitely be back. The ambiance and decor were beautiful--upscale, stylish, and perfect for a date night. It felt lively but still comfortable. The service stood out! Our waitress was attentive, kind, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. She mentioned the meal would be paced out, but it came with the yellowtail crudo first, followed by everything else arriving at once. While not ideal, her friendliness made up for it. Our favorite dish of the night was the yellowtail crudo--slightly sweet with great flavor. Everything we ordered was good, though we'd want to try new dishes next time. The Brussels sprouts were solid (Jonathan wasn't a fan of the breadcrumbs), and I really enjoyed the chicken lo mein. The 9 Seasons spicy prawns were large (6 per order) and a close second favorite, while the Kung Pao chicken was well cooked with a slight kick. Portion sizes were very generous, and each protein dish comes with a side of white rice. With five dishes, we had plenty of leftovers--about two dishes per person is more than sufficient. The warm lemongrass hand towels at the end were a nice touch, and our waitress surprised us with two glasses of champagne for date night, which was very thoughtful. Good food, great service, and a memorable experience.

Came back for another fabulous experience with international guests that truly enjoyed the Peking Duck experience as much as we do. Shout out to our server Amber who helped us order a great family style meal, she asked a few questions and then just brought out the perfect amount and picks of everything. I truly encourage you to do the same. She is so knowledgeable about the menu and every dish we tried was so delicious.

Philippe feels like Nashville's full glow-up moment for Chinese food--posh but not precious, chic without trying too hard, and absolutely aware of its own cool-factor. This is the kind of place where you intend to order responsibly and then immediately abandon that plan in favor of "well, we're already here." The menu is built for joyful over-ordering: lots of appetizers, small noodle, and fried rice dishes that practically dare you to say, "Let's just try one more," plus larger also-shareable entrées that land with great polish. The miso salmon is a standout--silky, deeply savory, and clearly living its best life. The hamachi crudo is bright, pristine, and disappeared so fast it may have technically been a mirage. No crumbs, no regrets. Cocktails are clever without drifting into performance art, and the wine list is smart, curated, and blessedly free of intimidation. Everything tastes intentional, not try-hard. Service? Impeccable. The kind of staff that makes a large group feel expertly choreographed rather than herded. Worth noting: for a big party, reservations required planning a few weeks out--annoying in theory, extremely validating in practice. Philippe is date-night cool, friend-group chic, and "another round, please" energy all at once. Elevated, funny, a little indulgent--and very much main-character dining. Are we going back? The unanimous vote was "yes." There is so much more to explore here!

I've passed by the Chow location in NYC dozens of times, and never felt drawn to dine there. But the Nashville location. The Nashville location! Hello beautiful. The decor is chic and modern. The service is lovely. (Sandra was a fabulous server) And the food is elevated Chinese as it should be done. Get the Peking Duck. Incredible. Dumplings. Fried Rice. 10/10. I recommend requesting main dining room seating near the bar. So many different businesses have passed through the Cummins Station location where Chow now sits. This is here to stay. Note:Valet parking available

Best part of the experience was the service. Isabel was great and Isaiah was very on top of things. Ambiance is okay. Believe it or not the section past the bar was the most calm & cozy. Now the food. I concur with other reviewers in that the food was just okay. The best thing I had was the pear & arugula salad. If I return, it will be just for that. No gluten free bread service from what I could tell. The walnut prawns were cooked well but, bland. No depth of flavor at all. Kind of crazy for an Asian restaurant. It was nice that they were able to make a modified gluten-free version of their chocolate mousse cake. This was pretty good. Just too rich to finish. I would recommend this spot more as a stop-in for drinks or dessert.

Two words: Peking duck (or Baked Alaska)! This place is incredible IF you know what to order. Cocktail selections were great, specifically the Lychee Martini and The Stogie. Service was top notch and we loved the tableside serving of the duck as well as the baked alaska dessert. IMO you can't go to Philippe Chow and skip out on the duck. It's the iconic dish and lives up to its reputation. *Must request 72 hours in advance* All selections from the raw bar were favorites among our group. Vibes are cozy and very private in the back of the restaurant. Dumplings are a heavy, dense dumpling (not soup dumplings). Fried rice was good but small serving for $18. They have $20 valet parking available or in the same lot you can self park for $7 with validation inside the restaurant.

While in town, my wife made reservations for us to check out Philippe Chow. The ambiance is really nice and gives good aesthetics. We were seated promptly. I do encourage you to have a reservation as this restaurant is very busy. Our waitress was very attentive. We order vegetables demolishing, spring rolls, chicken lo mein and shrimp fried rice. I didn't get a picture of the lo mein and shrimp friend rice. The food is really the typical Chinese. I would encourage that if you come get something that you can't really get at a typical Chinese restaurant. Overall it was a good dinning experience.

There was no live music available at the time, but they did have a DJ which I thought was spinning the turntable rather well. It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.

Staff at the humidor offered zero guidance or recommendations. Drinks were forgettable, and we had to fetch them ourselves from the bar like we were at a college sports pub instead of an upscale cigar lounge. Then came the cigars. We were left to cut and light them ourselves, which would've been fine if every disposable torch in the place wasn't nearly empty or completely out of butane. Nothing says 'premium lounge experience' quite like fighting for a working lighter. To top it off, the moment a large group walked in, the bartender started loudly screaming out drink orders across the room. The entire atmosphere instantly shifted from refined cigar lounge to livestock auction barn. This place is living off the reputation of what Blend used to be.
