Crab fries

Whenever I go down to this area, I try to swing by Philly Italian Water Ice, but I always seem to miss them. When I do, I really enjoy the drive-thru and interacting with the crew members. One of them is very nice and has a smile all the time. When you order through the drive-thru, you get directed to a parking spot with a number, and then they bring out your order to you within a few minutes. Great selection of food, I've had the fries, pretzels, as well as the mushroom cheesesteak before. What I really like is their sustainable packaging, they don't really use a lot of plastic except for the dips. As for the fries, any extra I can just pop it in the oven in the container that they gave it to me in, and after that, I can recycle the container. I really hope that they continue using paper bags and foil as much as possible. Great small business, the only thing that I would say is that for those looking for this place, it may be a little hard to find because they only have a sign on their storefront. Would love to see flags or additional signage directing people to the store from the road. Looking forward to continuing supporting this business.

The Philly cheesesteak was delicious, however, the funnel cake was very disappointing. I had my mouth set on it. The container was hot and it smelled amazing. I opened it and it was fried super hard and had many skinny crunchy pieces that made up the majority of the funnel cake. The softer pieces were chewy almost like the grease may have been a little old. If this is the norm for the funnel cake then I do not recommend but the cheesesteak is delicious.

In middle of nowhere GA, there are not a lot of options for a philly. It typically is chopped meat and provolone on bread and the restaurant calls it a philly. When I lived in Houston, I got addicted to the philly with cheese sauce and onions and have had a hard time finding a place that severed them around here. Look no further! My husband and I drove an hour after discovering this place online. You cannot dine in (at least at the time this was written) and is drive up only. The guy that took our order was extremely friendly and nice. He had a great sense of humor as well. After you order, you go to your assigned parking and they bring the food out to you. It was piping hot and delicious! The bread soaked up the juiciness of the meat but also held together well. It just melts in your mouth. Hands down worth the drive and we will definitely be back.

Drive through only. However, most authentic and best Philly cheesesteak in surrounding towns.

Delicious! The colors are deceiving very bright, but tastes delicious and not artificial tasting. The portion is generous for a small. A Flavor for everyone. Found this by a random google searching missing Italian Ice from the tristate area (NY, NJ , PA) it was perfect. I wish these people the best. They have funnel cakes and pretzel pizza as well.

I do not order phillys because the meat is generally not good. So I usually pass when they are on the menu. But I came across this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I looked at the menu before I left so I basically knew what I wanted. They are utilizing drive thru only at this time so I got back in the car and drove up. A gentleman took my order and asked me if I wanted various toppings and what type of cheese as I had explained it was my first time there. I settled on the 12' whiz cheesesteak with onions and mushrooms. Hold the mayo!!! Got the combo with seasoned fries and a can coke drink. I was instructed to pull down into one of the designated waiting parking spots and my order would be brought out to me. The fries were hot so of course I devoured most of em enroute home. I sampled a portion of the meat as well as I could not pick it up and drive at the same time but I could taste it was well seasoned. Once I made it home I had to use a fork to eat the drippings from the philly as it was piled high but very very tasty. I would return to try another philly. It does beat out any philly I've tasted in a while. I want to try one of those funnel cakes as well. Next time if I choose a can drink I'll be sure to ask for a straw. I normally keep some in the car but was all out. I just don't do can drinks without using one. Just a personal preference.

I stopped here on a whim because I wanted to try their Italian ice, but honestly it ended up being all about the Philly! The freaking Philly was so good I forgot to take a picture until it was almost gone! I got a steak Philly with the works, it was amazing the bread and meat were higher quality then any other place I have tried. I told my husband every time I want a Philly this is where he will have to go. The Italian ice was good, not super sweet and very smooth. I enjoyed everything, seriously I would go back right now if I could and I just had it 3 hours ago! Y'all are the real deal!

My wife and I are always looking for good local Spots. We spotted this restaurant sitting off the road in the back of a shopping plaza and the only thing that caught my eye was a very small sign that said "Best cheesesteak ever"! We'll being I love those authentic Philly cheesesteaks, I had to find out!!!!!! Well...........I was not disappointed! We ordered the Mushroom steak with crab fries and an Italian ice. The sub definitely reminded me of a Philly cheesesteak. The meat had a great flavor and they weren't skimpy with it either. The crab fries were a delightful surprise as well. I thought they were gonna sprinkle a little old bay on the fries and call it a day but they didn't. There was a seasoning sprinkle but they also gave us this delicious dipping sauce! The water ice took me back to my childhood days of playing in the fire hydrant and eating Italian ice. The customer service was amazing and my wife and I will definitely be back for another visit. Best cheesesteak around here HANDS DOWN!!!!!

Pepper Cheesesteak with Jalapeños! Outstanding!!

My husband and I pass the signs at least once a week heading north to Macon and finally decided it was time to see what they had to offer. After turning off the highway, drive slow because this quaint little country store is tucked away just a block down the road on a corner lot. We parked in the grass beside the store and immediately noticed the rocking chairs out front filled with customers happily enjoying ice cream and cobbler. Honestly, that alone felt like a good sign. Inside, the store is small but packed with goodies. They had a produce section with fresh cucumbers, onions, sweet potatoes, and the first peaches of the season. Of course, I grabbed a little bit of everything. They also sell salsas, pecans, candies, homemade cobblers, ice cream, and plenty of other tempting Southern treats. The gentleman working there, who I assume was one of the owners, was incredibly friendly and proudly told us the peaches were the first of the season, juicy now but even better as the season goes on. Naturally, we bought some, and wow... they were some of the sweetest, juiciest peaches I've ever had. Grocery store peaches could never. I also picked up a jar of tequila salsa because I had never seen that before, and it ended up being fantastic, spicy with a really balanced flavor. Definitely something I'd buy again. Before leaving, we had to try the peach cobbler. Now, cobbler is usually my husband's thing, not mine, but this may have converted me. It tasted homemade, loaded with fresh peaches, and wasn't overwhelmingly sweet like many cobblers tend to be. They also offer blackberry cobbler or a half and half mix if you can't decide. Overall, we were really impressed with this little country store and will absolutely be back. If you're passing through Byron on I-75, I definitely recommend pulling over and giving Barbour Farms a try. Just don't blink or you'll miss it!

Honest review here. The food was good. Unfortunately it left much to be desired considering our…read moreorder incorrect and quite expensive for the amount of food received. The original Philly was delicious, as was the Chicken Philly and the Chicken Chipotle Philly(even though we ordered the Original Chipotle Philly). We ordered FOUR sandwiches and a 5 piece chicken tender meal with fries for the kids. What we received were THREE sandwiches and the chicken meal. On their site, there is an option to "double it up." It says "two regular Philly sandwiches, for $18.99, so essentially you'd be saving a couple bucks. Not a big deal but when you are trying to feed a family of four, any savings are appreciated. The sandwiches were small, They were 6 inches I believe. Apparently whomever prepared our "double up" sandwich did not know that it was to be TWO sandwiches(as per the website), not just double meat on one sandwich. THAT sandwich had an appropriate amount of meat had it been the price of a single($10.99 I think?)... The other sandwiches that we got- Chicken Philly and the Chicken Chipotle Philly were good but had hardly any meat- I would guess maybe three ounces. And again, we had ordered the Chipotle beef, not chicken. Luckily for us, we all eat beef and poultry so it was fine, but if this happens frequently I'm guessing there will many more upset patrons and I doubt the restaurant will survive long. I say that because I'm a veteran of the F&B industry and I've seen more than a few great places close due to mismanagement... With a little tweaking this place could be good. Back to the food- the chicken tenders were large but flavorless. The fries were literally undercooked school cafeteria crinkle fries and were very few in quantity as well. The total before delivery fee, tip, etc, was about $60. So yeah... imagine our disappointment when we received our sad little sack of food that ended up costing a pretty penny and could barely feed us all. Definitely do not recommend if you want your order right and to be satiated. If you do want to try it, because, like I said, it WAS good- GO TO THE STORE! I'm not sure if you can do that actually but if so, DO IT! That way you can at least inspect it first and don't end up hungry and PO'd. Side note- check out our pictures compared to the ones the owner has advertised. Of course the advertised ones look amazing but I feel like the food should *slightly* resemble it
