It's off the beaten path but so rewarding once you try it. Just know that it is only drive thru and you have to park as they cook to order. Whenever I go down to this area, I try to swing by Philly Italian Water Ice, but I always seem to miss them. When I do, I really enjoy the drive-thru and interacting with the crew members. One of them is very nice and has a smile all the time. When you order through the drive-thru, you get directed to a parking spot with a number, and then they bring out your order to you within a few minutes. Great selection of food, I've had the fries, pretzels, as well as the mushroom cheesesteak before. What I really like is their sustainable packaging, they don't really use a lot of plastic except for the dips. As for the fries, any extra I can just pop it in the oven in the container that they gave it to me in, and after that, I can recycle the container. I really hope that they continue using paper bags and foil as much as possible. Great small business, the only thing that I would say is that for those looking for this place, it may be a little hard to find because they only have a sign on their storefront. The Philly cheesesteak was delicious, however, the funnel cake was very disappointing. I had my mouth set on it. The container was hot and it smelled amazing. I opened it and it was fried super hard and had many skinny crunchy pieces that made up the majority of the funnel cake. The softer pieces were chewy almost like the grease may have been a little old. If this is the norm for the funnel cake then I do not recommend but the cheesesteak is delicious. read more

I do not order phillys because the meat is generally not good. So I usually pass when they are on the menu. But I came across this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I looked at the menu before I left so I basically knew what I wanted. They are utilizing drive thru only at this time so I got back in the car and drove up. A gentleman took my order and asked me if I wanted various toppings and what type of cheese as I had explained it was my first time there. I settled on the 12' whiz cheesesteak with onions and mushrooms. Hold the mayo!!! Got the combo with seasoned fries and a can coke drink. I was instructed to pull down into one of the designated waiting parking spots and my order would be brought out to me. The fries were hot so of course I devoured most of em enroute home. I sampled a portion of the meat as well as I could not pick it up and drive at the same time but I could taste it was well seasoned. Once I made it home I had to use a fork to eat the drippings from the philly as it was piled high but very very tasty. I would return to try another philly. It does beat out any philly I've tasted in a while. I want to try one of those funnel cakes as well. Next time if I choose a can drink I'll be sure to ask for a straw. We spotted this restaurant sitting off the road in the back of a shopping plaza and the only thing that caught my eye was a very small sign that said "Best cheesesteak ever"! The sub definitely reminded me of a Philly cheesesteak. The meat had a great flavor and they weren't skimpy with it either. The crab fries were a delightful surprise as well. I thought they were gonna sprinkle a little old bay on the fries and call it a day but they didn't. There was a seasoning sprinkle but they also gave us this delicious dipping sauce! The water ice took me back to my childhood days of playing in the fire hydrant and eating Italian ice. The customer service was amazing and my wife and I will definitely be back for another visit. In the year since I discovered this place, we have spent several hundred dollars here, bringing friends and family and even ordering large parties for our offices. However today I ordered online 10 minutes before they even opened (12 noon) and got a confirmation saying it would be ready at 1228pm and to call and let them know the parking spot I was in. I showed up at 1231 and called to let them know. I was told my order was coming up. I sat in the parking lot until 108pm, after calling twice. Still the best cheesesteak around but definitely don't have an hour to wait for one. It will he while before I return. Came here on a whim looking for Philly Cheesesteak and Italian Ice. I was not disappointed! The food was delicious and tasted homemade. The Italian Ice had a very fresh and homemade quality. The best part? It wasn't full of sugar and did not taste artificial in the least. We went through the drive through as they are adhering to Covid-19 suggestions to reduce social distancing. The service was personable and pleasant. They even accommodated me by making my foot long cheesesteak half beef and half chicken. I then chose my own cheese type and toppings. They are currently drive-thru only due to COVID and the time I went in line to order at the window it was a bad day for them and I got the order late. I came over again and they have redeemed themselves with quick service and great food. If you are in a hurry they accept and encourage call in orders aswell. The Italian Ice was exceptional, it was smooth and full of flavor. The first time I ate there was based on a recommendation from a friend and he was very right in suggesting it. Be prepared to have leftovers since the Philly is so large if you are getting fries with it.
