My server came over. She greeted me. Got both my drink and food order off the bat. As I sat listening to the chatter. The vibe of the evening was nice. It was good to see families, couples and friends Jody enjoying a relaxing Meal . Before I knew it, my server returned quickly with chips and salsa. Now the salsa was spicy ! The strawberry margarita was strong. I couldn't drink it. I surely enjoyed those tender juicy Birria tacos. They came with a side of cheese, salsa, and cilantro. Just delicious. This was our first time here. We are passing through town. Our server, Miriam, was such a help! The salsa has a slight kick. We asked for recommendations and were pleasantly surprised. I got the house special with Shrimp and chicken. Yum yum yum. It was delicious and so filling. My husband got the chicken chimichangas which were good as well. A hidden gem!! Casa Mexico is hard to find, located in a small strip mall but the food packs a punch. The wait staff was very attentive and sat us down right away! The menu was HUGE. A classic mix of quesadillas, fajitas, burritos and more. Anything you wanted they had, including shrimp options and spice level changes. We ordered the chicken fajitas which was the bomb! Even the single portion had enough food to feed 2. The plate came on a hot skillet with sides of rice, beans, guac, tomatoes and sour cream. Michael got the crazy burrito, which was loaded with gooey cheese, meat, beans and more. We came the day after Cinco De Mayo...so they even kept the $5 Margarita deal for us. SO FRESH!! WOW!! Super service and excellent food. Walked in the door on Saturday at 5PM and was seated right away. Waiter arrived table within a minute. Ordered a Mondelo and Chorri Pollo. Chips and salsa arrived while ordering. Not sure if chips were from in house but did not taste like cheap bagged chips. Salsa was not super chunky but thick, fresh and just the perfect amount of heat. The meal arrived by 5:16 and was super flavorful, cooked to perfection and just awesome. Finished off the meal with a desert called Xanga, a fried or baked (or both) cheesecake type dish with ice cream and was very tasty. The place began filling up about 5:30 but it seemed folks were being seated within several minutes by an attentive staff. The bill was $23.00 and worth every cent. The grilled chicken was salted way too much as well as the beans. The rice was bland and rubbery. But the beer was cold. Save your time, go to Taco Bell. Could someone tell me why they charge .75 cents PER ORDER for a to go order. I'm trying to be fair but I called in three orders and was told that there was a 75 cent charge for a to go order. Okay, I'll do that. Then when my total didn't add up, she informed me it's 75 for EACH to go order. Not trying to be cheap, but seems to me you are doing them a favor by ordering online instead of going into the restaurant and taking up a table that another customer could use. I guess it's the principle of the thing to me. In other words, the more you order the more "take out charge" you will pay. Am I missing a reason for the take out charge? I mean, does it cost them more for an online order? I don't like this. Most likely will not order from there again. I hope they will read this and rethink what they are doing. read more

This place is a well kept secret in Byron apparently, but I stumbled on it a couple years ago. The staff is friendly and very attentive. They have a pretty large selection of foods to satisfy most anyone. Now for the reason you're reading this review....... Their food is very good and large portions. They have one dish in particular that I favor over the other dishes on the menu which are all very good. I believe it is called Mexican chicken and rice. I have never seen this at any other Mexican restaurant, but it is incredibly good and that isn't the margaritas talking. I usually get a bowl of cheese sauce for my chips instead of the usual salsa. I save a little to add to the chicken and rice although it comes with plenty, but to me, there is no such thing as too much cheese. The chicken is really tender and seasoned to perfection. I am in this area quite a bit and always try to eat there at least once during my stays. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in the Byron/Warner Robins area, but this is hands down my go to. read more

Reading that reviews, we decide to give this place a try. Located just off I-75 & mere miles from our home, we were hoping to find another local spot. It's a super busy location, but the shopping center allows for easy parking access. Upon entry, we were quickly ushered to our seats. The service left a lot to be desired. She seemed bothered and rushed. The food was overly salty, and otherwise forgettable. The location is noisy, several families with unruly children chose to dine when we did. Apparently, they're used to the cray-cray, but I'm not. Bottom line, I've had better food and service elsewhere - without leaving with a headache. read more
