The excellent smell hit us as soon as we walked in. Started with the Pomegranate Patron Margarita and ordered the Churrasco Steak for the main course. The margarita was really good. Most of us ordered the churrasco steak, we asked if it could be cooked medium. The steak was good but it was all cooked well done. I would say it was still moist with a good char. The shrimp was cooked fine but did not have any char and relied on the flavor of the steak otherwise the shrimp would have been bland. I ordered the fired sweet plantains and congri rice. Those were the stars of the day. The plantains were perfectly charred and had the good classic flavor. The congri rice was outstanding. It was black rice with black beans, soo good. The service was fast and super friendly. Joseph was our server for a big party and he did a phenomenal job. Good meal, would recommend it. read more

We stopped by for lunch, and I'm glad we did! It was bigger than expected when we got inside. They were pretty busy, but there wasn't a wait for a table. The service was fast, and we got our food pretty quick too. Their ground beef empanadas came out hot, beautifully fried and the meat wasn't dried out like some places I've had. It was flavorful and filling. Definitely recommend getting some to start with or as a plate (with rice and beans) if you aren't super hungry. The curry chicken was creamy, and while jerk chicken was listed as being spicy, it most definitely wasn't. Between them both, I found curry chicken to be more enjoyable since the chicken wasn't as dry and tastier. The rice, beans, yuca, sweet plantains, and tostones were all good. I usually prefer black beans, but their red beans tasted better in my opinion. All of their sandwich options seem solid, and if I lived nearby, I would absolutely try each one. The pan con bistec was filling, adding fries is not necessary, but I like fries in general, so I found it worth it. The bread used for sandwiches is also given at the beginning with a green sauce to eat it with. I believe one is spicier than the other though the flavor overall is mostly the same. Not that any of the food needed additional flavor, it was nice to have when I want one bite to taste a little extra. My biggest regret: not buying a bottle of their Francesca sauce (green sauce). It added a nice citrusy, salty flavor and brought a bit of spice to the food. It's a very versatile sauce. I will be back for it and their empanadas. read more

When we entered Mr. Hanky greeted us immediately. The fecal aroma was unmistakable. We sat down scared sharing wide eyed glances, and the scented candles and cheap potty perfume started fighting the sewer gas stench all around us. The was just too strong. The staff was playing on their phones ignoring the newly seated lunch customers 3 feet away on the other side of the bar. When they offered us the $75 lunch special we nearly fell off the bar stools. My first experience was their food truck. I never had coconut style jerk (white jerk chicken). So I didn't know what to expect. I'm glad I ordered it. Tasty is an understatement. It has been a long time since I have come here for a Cubano sandwich. I remember them being very good, but I forgot just how good they actually are! I ordered a half cubano with yellow rice & red beans for lunch. I called it in and they had it ready in about 10 mins. I will say the prices on the menu that I looked at on Yelp is no longer accurate, but that is not the restaurants fault. It said a half cubano with rice and beans was $7.99 and I thought that was an amazing deal! Well, as it turns out that menu is VERY outdated. This lunch was about $12, but worth every single penny. I opened up my to-go container and thought I will definitely eat all of the sandwich, but I'll probably stop short on the rice and beans because it was a decent amount of food and I didn't want to be too full. I was soooo wrong, I just kept eating the rice and beans until they were gone. Very delicious and very full of flavor. The "hot" green sauce is phenomenal! I ended up putting some of that on top of my rice. I would put this sauce on just about anything. The sandwich was perfect, the pork was juicy and tender, the ham and the pickles were present in each bite and the bread was exactly what Cuban bread should be for this sandwich. Cafe because this is a cute spot with meals and drinks. I ordered the Churassco steak with shrimp. One of the best things about this meal is the variety and quality. You get steak, shrimp, rice, beans, plaintains and yuka. Overall, each item brings something to the table. The yellow rice was soft and sufficiently moist. The beans provided an excellent side with lots of flavor and warmth. The plaintains were a sweet side dish to compliment the savory shrimp and steak. The yuka was a fun surprise because it had a good texture and not too crispy from the frying. read more

The hours at this place are very confusing. 730 is pretty early for dinner but now when you come in anytime after seven, the staff looks at you like you're crazy for coming to eat because they're ready to close and go home. Tea is dumped drinks are unavailable. It's just crazy. I was just placed with stay up until nine. Plus the whole time the weight staff is over concerned about side work, shutting down then even remotely waiting on a table. If I'm out of a drink, don't buss my table. Get me a drink. So annoying and then look at me funny when I say hey look I'm out of a drink when you're just trying to take dishes back to the kitchen and not provide me a refill. read more

Came for lunch, this spot is a small cafe not too far from Robins AFB. We arrived at lunch and it was busy, always a good sign. We were seated and had drinks in no time. I orders she Cuban sandwich with black beans and white rice. The sandwich was AMAZING! Two different meats and toppings served on a delicious roll, black beans that were also so flavorful. Just realized I forgot to publish the review from our last visit. Every time I've eaten here I've been a little annoyed at the fact that the employees spend more time talking to each other than paying attention to their tables. The restaurant has steadily gone down hill and I've still given them the benefit of the doubt but that isn't going to happen again. The kitchen reused a pan to cook my wife's chicken that had been used to cook fish without washing it. Not only did it taste bad but she has seafood allergies. Also there was human feces in the middle of the bathroom floor. There are obvious cleanliness issues here and a staff that doesn't care. We won't be back. read more

We love this place. Good cuban food close to home. A cubano made just right with real pieces of pernil. The chimmchuri sauce is awesome on the steak and everything. Nothing like a nice malta with your meal and a cortadito after dinner. This def is our go to spot in the area. In the background is authentic salsa music playing. Good for parties.
