The pretzels are soft and fluffy and the employees friendly and smart instantly selling me in double the cheese and even asking me if I wanted a rewards card! Which was so easy to receive! Been here a few times now. Pretzels are always soft and chewy on the inside with just the right amount of crunch on the outside. Prices are very reasonable too...........you can get 6 pretzels for 5 bucks, and if you want to order party trays, the prices get lower when ordering in bulk. Definitely goes over great for a backyard BBQ or a family get together. ........just make sure you pick up a bunch of dips as well. There are a few dip options that range from sweet to savory with my favorite being the melted cheese (which is just a cheese whiz sauce). It's a pretzel shop and that's pretty much it. They have two lunch options , a philly cheese steak which is really just a glorified hot pocket in a pretzel, but it was delicious. There is also a hotdog pretzel. Other than that it's pretzels cheese and mustard, and they have a cinnamon sugar pretzel w dip sauce.The pretzels are good But they are not Aunty Anne's. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE OF MY LIFE! DO NOT GO HERE! I placed an order online and as a result of a website glitch the order was scheduled for the wrong date. After seeing the wrong date on the order form, I called the store to fix the issue and I was told there was nothing they could do and it was my fault (even though it was a glitch on their website). I tried to get in touch with the manager for two days and refused to return my phone calls and constantly had his staff hang up on me when I called. The customer service was so bad that I actually had to call corporate and they are working on fixing the issue. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. I went there today (July 4) to get a tray of nuggets to bring to the hospital to thank the delivery room staff that took care of my daughter during childbirth. They refused to take the order because they were too busy. I'm glad they feel they're doing well enough to turn away customers, because they lost my business forever today. I placed an order online days before my pick up date for my daughters birthday party. When I got home from picking up the order, I looked and 2 of the 3 dips I ordered were wrong. I called and was told to come back. I had 30 people coming to my house for a birthday party and couldn't take another half hour to go back to fix a mistake that they made. I asked for a manager, was told no one was there. Left my name and number to be called back, haven't gotten a call yet. The employees need to double check to make sure the order is correct. I am very disappointed. I waited on an extremely long line. I looked around and asked another customer if they still had the "5 pretzels for 3 dollars deal". The customer said yes, pointing at a sign that clearly said, 5 for 3. By the time I got to the front of the line, they said they were not doing the deal today (even though it said weekday deals and today, is indeed a weekday) I would've appreciated it if they erased the "5 for 3" on the white board so people are not left wasting their time. To add insult to injury be prepared to pay for the mustard to go with your pretzels. There is mustard available for no charge but you must slather all your pretzels with mustard before you leave. I am actually sorry that this place is in the neighborhood. The franchise itself makes a good product however the people who work in this particular location are horrible. I have dealt with them twice before for larger orders they have absolutely no interest in any sort of community involvement or accommodating anybody. Their website stated that they are open at 8 AM on Saturdays I have been calling since 7 AM finally reach somebody at 8:30 and asked if I could pick up 200 pretzels the woman was adamant steadfast that she does not do pick ups until 930. I said what if I come to the counter to just buy 100? they completely not bending. This was on top of the fact that I have already been told that they give absolutely no consideration to community organizations and fundraisers as far as discounts either. On principle I am going to do my fundraiser without the pretzels because the idea of buying from this place is just more than I want to deal with. It is too bad that this place has such crappy management and the owner is not on site and you're told you cannot reach him. This sort of absentee management is absolutely a dis-service to the community and the franchise both. read more

I posted a review because of an awful experience I had at the Massapequa establishment and got a message telling me off about it, so it had to have been the lady I had complained about, and complained rightfully! The older lady (black hair, gray poofy ponytail, unhealthily skinny and one of the nastiest people I've ever dealt with at any establishment) had pretended to ring up my girlfriends coupon that we each had our own of on our phones (and mine had just been used) and proceeded to tell her that the coupon had already been used, when we all knew it hadn't but what she did not realize was that they all had the SAME EXACT SKU NUMBER! SO, I TOLD HER OFF, TELLING HER THEY ALL HAD THE SAME NUMBERS INCLUDING MY HUSBAND'S WHO HAD ONE AS WELL, AND MAGICALLY! IT WORKED! She never apologized, she just tried to argue with me. Is it such a personal loss for this woman to redeem 2 coupons from 2 women that were for 'Buy 3 pretzels, get 3 free'?! And after I share my experience which didn't even go this far into detail about this woman, make a fake yelp account to write me a nasty message and threaten to sue me?! Lmao! And say "bye bye review" and my review disappeared? Thats why only the good reviews are up, the Philly pretzel factory pays to have the truthful reviews taken down! Be aware of Gene! I placed an order online and it apparently got mixed up. When I went to pick up the order on the 4th of July, she said that the order was ready the night before. She mentioned that an employee reached out and left a message to someone. The number that they called was NOT the number I placed the order with so I never got the message. I apologized for the mix up, even though it was an internet problem, and Gene refused to help me out in ANYWAY. The store was busy so I was VERY patient. As a matter of fact, I waited with my two year old daughter for an hour and a half while she passed pretzel trays to tons of customers. Finally, I asked her when my tray would be coming out and she said it wasn't. She said that she never told me to wait and was unwilling to give me a refund. What kind of business would hire someone who basically accuses customers of lying and then refuses to come up with a logical solution? Instead she put her hand in the air and walked away from me mid sentence. I was treated terribly by a woman who claimed she wasn't the manager and would get fired if she gave me a new tray. Seriously? That is poor business and I will NEVER come here again. It was the 4th of July for god sakes. Gene clearly can't handle a simple mix up with class and professionalism. These pretzels are out of sight! And I have never been disappointed! They are hot, fresh and just the right amount of salt. The price is very affordable. I am always greeted with a smile and all the employees are SO nice. It is on the way home from my job, so I do stop in often. I thought the parking would be scary because it's on a main road. I just wait for the light to turn red in the opposite direction and I have never had a problem backing out, which is a great relief. I have also ordered a circular platter of nuggets for a family party. It came with 2 large sides, I picked cheese and chocolate frosting. My family couldn't get enough of the pretzels, even with everyone munching on them there was still some left over, we froze them, they were still delicious a month later. A few drops of water on top and in the microwave 25 seconds delicious! I've already been asked to bring them to the next party.
