The details are what makes this place stand out. If you buy multiple drinks, they place your order in an adorable, reusable purple bag. Also, there is a rewards program. Both items were good, and I enjoyed the waffle, which had ice cream as the filling and was stuffed with fillings, but it was a little difficult to eat since the wrapper is not very practical, and I had to use my hands, so it got a bit messy. There were some cucumber sandwiches and some sliced cucumbers just sitting on the plate on no bread because it was multi-grain and had seeds, NOT NUTS! The cucumber slices were next to salmon slices, also on no bread. Unfortunately, the salmon was touching just about everything on the plate, so those of us with restrictions couldn't eat most of the meal. Not only was this disappointing, it was also dangerous for people with life threatening food allergies. All in all, it was almost 2 hours for a simple afternoon tea. The lack of regard and respect for people with life threatening allergies is a disgrace. The atmosphere is nice but the service and food were terrible. The flavor of the cool fluffy shaved ice is subtly sweet, lightly creamy, with just a hint of floral, and the snow melts on your tongue. The osmanthus flavor is not very strong or fragrant, however, though I've never had successful encounters with commercial osmanthus-flavored things outside of Asia, as it's a very distinctive and delicate taste that's also one of my favorite scents and culinary condiments, so I'm very particular about its faithfulness.
