Excellent customer service! They made our tray fresh for us! Our pretzel tray was hot, delicious and exactly what we wanted.

So we ordered two pretzel trays, just before Christmas online. One for the doctor's office and another for our veterinarian. First the pretzel sticks are all different sizes, then at pick up the owner (I think) was yelling at us for ordering cinnamon sugar pretzels and that they don't make then and they have tried to have them removed. She continued if we did make them that they wouldn't be the price we paid online. I wasn't sure how this was our problem, or why she was so rude. Next year we will come up with a different idea, to avoid this place and suggest you do the same. read more

I have tried this place several times and have not been disappointed. Pretzels are always warm and fresh and the people behind the counter are friendly and provide fast service. I have dealt with Brendon several times ordering trays, often on short notice, and everything was ready when promised! I have purchased from several different "factories" in the area and even though there are ones closer I will continue to drive a little further for the great service! read more

This is a new location for the Philly Pretzel Factory in Somer's Point NJ right across the bridge from Ocean City. We happened to be here for the grand opening and we just saw it passing by. It is a typical Philly Pretzel factory. There are no bathrooms for the customers. There are 2 stools there but because there are no bathrooms it is best for take out. We had a bunch of pretzels and only seem to have taken pictures of a few. We had literally everything on the menu that was savory and none of the sweet offerings or my hubby did. I just had the cheese pretzel which is just a little plastic container of cheese whiz and a Philly style soft pretzel. My hubby had a Peperoni cheese pretzel stick, a Pretzel dog, a Philly cheese steak pretzel , pretzels dips, frozen lemonade and a few other things. For the lack of bathrooms and also lack of utensils , (there were only napkins) and a bit over priced for just a pretzel, 3 stars. But it's good. I love Philly Pretzels but they seemed to taste better on the boardwalk in Ocean City. Here they got cold fast which is odd they were hot right out of the pretzel oven. I am first to review again and it is 7/7/2013. Yelp tends to delete my FTR's and award them to nonworking interns. So that is why I am making a point of saying I am FTR! Not that it helps it might be deleted anyway for no reason at all. read more

Just like pretzels you buy on Essington Ave from a shopping cart on the way to the game. Except no auto soot and gas flavor. So I guess these qualify as healthy! Take that Auntie Anne! All kidding aside, it is great to be able to get Philly style pretzels at a bakery and not as an afterthought at Wawa. You don't know how good you have it till you move away, trust me. I've been to the Somers Point Philly Soft Pretzel Factory on quite a few occasions this summer- mostly on Mondays to take advantage of their Dollar Pretzel Dog Monday promotion. I love the pretzel dog. I'm not sure what brand hot dogs they use, but it's a good quality dog wrapped in pretzel dough with cheese on the inside and baked. Health food? No. Delicious occasional treat? You betcha! And for a dollar each- why not? *The dollar pretzel dog promotion is apparently not chain-wide as I found out while in another town on a recent Monday. Props to the Somers Point store for a great deal on a yummy snack! On the down side, as another reviewer mentioned, they charge for mustard. Charging for a cheap basic condiment is lame. read more

Not bad, not good. They're pretty much your typical soft pretzels. Some of their innovative styles are good and unique, but as other reviewers have reported, they don't keep anything in stock! There's no consistent variety. If you're in the mood for pretzels, you'll leave happy. If you're in the mood for variety, you'll probably leave frustrated. read more

I JUST called, (it's 4pm, they close at 6) and the girl that answered the phone was amazingly helpful and said she could get a whole tray together for me by 5! This location never has their advertised variety items available. Just plain pretzels and a couple odds and ends. I often can't get more than one cheesesteak or pepperoni. Rudest owner. Will never go back. Stood in line for a half hour with my four year old, under a sign that said "place order here." Got to the front of the line and was then told they weren't taking any new orders. How do you run out of pretzels at 1pm on super bowl Sunday? And if you do, have the decency to announce it! We go here often after my granddaughter gets out of school. The pretzels are always fresh and the staff is very friendly. We went there on Thursday February 8 which is free pretzel day. They were disappointed it was slow that day because so many people went to the Eagles parade. The Pretzel trays they have for parties are also good read more

The main idea of the pretzel factory is to grab a quick cheap snack. When the business throws in a 5 dollar minimum charge for a debit card when a vast majority of your items are under 5 dollars is ridiculous. Besides I don't believe merchants can charge minimum on debit card. Credit card yes but not debit. read more

We placed an order for the pretzel/hotdog platter for $40 on Saturday 2/3/18 with a pick up time for Sunday 2/4/18 at 3:00 pm. My husband had to wait until 4:45 pm to pick up his tray!!!! I can understand you getting behind because of the Super Bowl, BUT, So many people were just walking in, placing their orders right then and there and walking out while he WAITED AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES!!!......I don't understand an hour and 45 minute wait on a pre-ordered and pre-paid platter!!! This was extremely frustrating and very unprofessional. AND, I ate one of the mini pretzel dogs and they were DOUGHY FROM BEING UNDERCOOKED!!!! The majority of these were wasted! We also never got the soda...........Some kind of refund would be in order!!! read more

OMG! I was just back east and my folks came down from South Jersey with something I haven't had in ages.....Real Philadelphia Soft Pretzels!! Which if you've never had them, you don't know the orgasmic experiences we know from the days I'd buy them off the street for 5 for a dollar. Well, now it's 50 cents a pop but they're still incredible! And to my Yelpers back out in SoCal, if you haven't experienced these and think that Wetzel's, Auntie Anne's or (egad!) SuperPretzel is a real soft pretzel, you are oh, so wrong! Ditto those of you in NYC who think a soft pretzel should be grilled. These are incredible taste treats. I'm kind of thumbs down on the fact they charge for mustard (huh?) so just bring 'em home and slather on French's or Gulden's or whatever you've got. Then grab a beer (ah, this and Yuengling has got to be brought out west!) You will never look at Wetzel's the same way again. Should mention this is a rather large chain stretching all the way down to Florida, so hopefully someone's got the California franchise or maybe they should just merge it in with Philly's Best or South Street instead. read more
