There are plenty of seatings inside and outside. The entire place is filled with plants! I got the Strawberry Cheesecake Matcha, which is their special of the month (not on the menu). It was delicious! You can taste the matcha and the drink isn't overly sweet, which I love! There are real dried strawberries and the cold foam on top was delicious. One of the best matchas I've had in town. The staff was very friendly as well! I also got the peaches and cream smoothie and it on the sweeter side. I couldn't taste the peaches as much but it was very creamy! Over all 10/10 on the matcha. And they have quite a selection for matchas so I will be back to try other flavors.

A mango sticky rice matcha in hand with a good book and suddenly the Arizona desert heat feels a little less intense. The drink is unforgettable-lush mango, earthy matcha, and a sweetness that never overwhelms. It tastes like a summer afternoon in paradise. I also have ordered the blueberry matcha and it was superb. What I appreciate most is the kindness hidden in the menu. Coconut milk, oat milk, dairy-free options, gluten-free bread, syrups for every mood--it never feels like you're asking for a substitute. It feels like you're being welcomed. Every menu choice seems to whisper, "You belong here too." The avocado toast was extraordinary. Gluten free, dairy free, and still one of the most flavorful things I've eaten all year. Proof that simplicity, when done with care, can feel like luxury.

However, it's not really a dedicated coffee shop since you order at the side of the bar and then can sit in the dining area or the lounge, and there aren't pastries, but it's a great place to meet for coffee if a quiet and beautiful setting is important to you. It would be nice if they served in non disposables when you're not getting to-go to up the feel of a special cafe. Give it a try and remember what it's like to enjoy a cup of coffee in a special setting.

I'd heard a little rumbling about Birdies Coffee Lounge which sits inside the Palmbrook in Sun City. The views of the golf course are beautiful from here. You can't miss where you need to be with the huge white double doors. Once inside you will see assorted large rooms where wedding receptions, celebrations of life and more may be celebrated. Veer your eyes a little to the left and you'll see where the coffee lounge is which is also a full bar. I was a bit confused at first because it was in a bit of disarray with stools pushed back from the bar and tables covered. A wonderful woman soon came out from the back and when I asked if they were open she stated they were closed until October 18th for remodeling and so other things. I let her know it stated they were showing open online when she quickly apologized. We got to talking and she offered to make me a coffee though options were limited due to the closure. That was so sweet of her. Of course my go to is cold brew which they didn't currently have, but let me tell you she made me the best iced americano I've ever had. With just a splash of half and half and sf vanilla I was in heaven. Even the color was on point. When you know you know. The location again is beautiful and better than I'd imagined before opening that first set of doors. I can't wait to come back when they reopen. So bookmark this spot and come support this local spot. Even through the chaos of their remodel they made us feel so welcome and stopped what they were doing to allow me to purchase my coffee. I didn't take many pics because I want to give it the best impression it deserves.

I tried out their PB Nirvana, Angel Wings drink, and a fruit acai bowl. First off, the presentation of their food is simply immaculate. The PB Nirvana is one big toasted bread which is covered completely with peanut butter and banana slices alongside coconut shreds. Although the acai bowl was smaller than other places, it was arranged so neatly and the quality of the fruit was sublime. The Angel Wings was sufficiently warm and wonderfully sweet. I liked all the things I ate and would recommend this place for anyone looking for quality food and drinks. All of this cost around $30.

While not a large dining experience, there are several different eating space options including a dog friendly patio. One of the quirks of S83 is the amount of live, and advertised, music. This can be loud after reverberating off the patio but the play list while we were there had everyone signing along and playing cornhole. Our server was also great with a lot of our requests and questions about the menu. We landed on Wagyu Social Burgers and White Cod Fish Tacos for the win. Tip: pay the $4 for an extra taco they are worth it. Also on the menu is a diverse drink menu with craft cocktails and a Brunch option with lots of breakfast staples. At the End of the Day the Happy Hour, live music / DJ, and menu offer up a great experience that makes repeat visits worth the drive to the Arrowhead area.
