The main flavor profile here is salt. If you're a fan of the taste of salt, I guess this is the place for you lol. I've been waiting for this place to open for a while because it's literally down the street, but I highly doubt I would come back. I'd usually give them the benefit of the doubt since they're one of the few pho spots in Decatur, but pho is such a difficult dish to mess up on, so it's pretty clear to me when even the smallest amount of effort and authenticity is lacking. Considering this is a chain with several locations even outside of Georgia, I imagined their pho would be exquisite, but nope. It's just okay. The broth was extra salty, and I felt my heart palpitating towards the end of my meal, and I couldn't even drink the water because it was tap water, but it tasted like straight up butt. So here I am eating my salty af extra large bowl of pho without anything to quench my thirst. I would have ordered something else to drink, but no one came to check on us until the end, and by that time I was ready to get out of there before I stroked out. My fiance ordered a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork, and it was okay, but once again the grilled pork was extra salty with no other flavor. There was really loud Vietnamese music coming from the kitchen, which I normally wouldn't mind, but it was either folks who needed to karaoke during non-business hours or really horrible sound quality of some sort of live performance. Slow service this evening but I attributed it to COVID. One person for front staff, handling fine in, take out, and all the GH delivery orders. I was surprised by the number of done in groups. You were asked to seat yourself and there was a sign in the door as you entered saying to social distance, but a few groups sat in adjoining booths (back to back) because there was no direction marked in tables - you know "available" / "not available." The front staff girl was crazy busy and running around trying her best to attend to everyone. She was super nice but did not wear a face covering at all! I thought this was unacceptable. Hubby really wanted Pho so we stayed and shifted our booth seat so it would be inconvenient for anyone to sit behind us. Now for the food - the Pho was delicious!! They provided all the standard accoutrements and we asked for extra jalapeno slices because we like ours spicy. We will definitely order again, but will most likely take it home unless in house dining practices change. read more

This is a genuine lovely, small family pho shop. For the price, its pretty great and i would say this spot has some of the best tasting pho in Atlanta. The woman at the cashier has always been so sweet and warm to talk to, so its a nice spot to go for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. Setting: light and fun decor, not too fancy, which is a good sign for Vietnamese places. Food: I ordered a pho tai nam. The broth was very savory. The meat was plentiful but a little chewy. For starters, I'm a loyal fan of Pho 24, specifically the one located on Buford Hwy but it's a 20+ minute drive. So when I heard there was one opening less than 5 minutes away from me, I was so excited!!! Needless to say, it didn't disappoint. From the crunchy bean sprouts that came out moments before the bowls of piping hot soup to the staple Hoisin sauce we added to the beef flank nonstop, the entire meal was phenomenal. We ordered 2 of the shrimp summer rolls (with the peanut sauce I could lick clean), XL P5, small P10, and last but not least a banh mi to split! Not to mention, the service was sweet and our water cups were never empty. Just ate here today - super yummy and extremely similar to the location out on Buford Hwy. there are some menu differences but for the most part, the key popular items are all there. Bahn Mis are $7, the rice dishes are delicious and between $11-14, and the pho broth is amazing! Tried the Shrimp Pho bowl about hearing good things about the broth. Was completely underwhelmed. Broth was a basic chicken broth with some seasoning. The shrimp and noodles were fine. A lemon was provided instead of a lime, which was different, but not in a good way. As for the price, about $16 w/o tip. It was togo, so I added just a couple of bucks for a tip. Let me start off by saying that im excited for this new pho place. There are several reason for the 3 stars. One, the food took forever to arrive and the special drinks came at the end when it was time to leave. Two, the vermicelli item did not come with the authentic ingredients like it should and like it mentioned on the menu. Three, the taste just was not there. The fresh rolls did not have the herbs they should, the vermicelli did not have all ingredients necessary. Beware of Pho 24 restaurant on Clairmont Road in Atlanta, Ga! They claim to prepare your food safely while adhering to co-vid restrictions but they do not. The restaurant worker in the picture does not take safe food handling practices seriously as evidenced by her refusal to wear a mask. The signs on the door clearly state no entry without a mask and the patron at the table was allowed to dine inside without a mask and was seen coughing at the table. In addition, after picking up the food, the quality matched the irresponsible behavior-disgraceful (see attached pictures)! The restaurant worker was informed that we were not satisfied with the food presentation but she did not seem to care. During a time when businesses are trying to keep their doors open, this restaurant should do a better job of trying to keep their customers. Both the food and lack of care for the customer's safety are unacceptable. Imagine the number of people who place delivery orders and have no idea what is going on behind the scenes? When I picked it up I was greeted by what I expect was the same guy wearing a hoodie ( nothing wrong with hoodies,by the way) that said leave me the FU*K alone along with other things on the back. I just believe that you are getting cheated because it was basically pho Bo you do not get the extra stuff pho dac Biet would have. The pho took nearly 20 minutes to come out but that wasn't a problem. My friend and I ordered two medium bowls of pho and they gave us a really sparse plate of veggies (compared to the photos of other reviews it looks like we got the leftovers). Buford Highway quality pho in Decatur! This place is wonderful. Please eat here all the time and keep it in business, as I'll be devastated if it ever closes. The pho ga is fantastic, as is the tofu and vegetable pho (in a chicken broth, so not vegetarian friendly, but great if you want pho with tons of vegetables). Great fried rice with chicken too. This is the worst pho restaurant I have ever been to. Their vegetarian pho has chicken broth (!), their vegetable fried rice does not come without egg (!), their steamed veggies only comes with oyster sauce (!). There is nothing without meat except their vegetables egg rolls which tasted like frozen dinner. The lighting is fluorescent and so bright you almost have to wear sunglasses. They do not bring a paper check for you to pay, they bring a device to your table and stand there expecting you to pay right then.
