When we saw that this place opened we were so excited to have a Pho restaurant in South Corona! Our whole experience here was awesome! We came in and ordered four soups and other items to go. The place is very contemporary and clean! Great food! Great services! Great place to be with your family and friends! You will enjoy Vietnamese food at Pho 36. There's a lot of options. The price is reasonable like anywhere else, and it is local for us. We would have to drive down Westminster to eat on the weekends, if we are craving for any asian food! It's healthier than eating fast food! Obviously, we are so happy that they open up authentic food in corona area. We have been waiting for quality food. We have been here more than once, and the waiters are really hard workers and nice. We know good food, because we are picky people! We will be their #1 customers. Best Pho I've ever had. But go with a patient attitude. We frequent almost every Pho place in the Corona/Norco area. And this is by far the best quality and tasting. The employees are genuinely nice but have absolutely no training on organization or skill. There was no order to who they were serving or when. We had to be asked to have our order taken. The egg rolls came out very quickly and were delicious. The soup took longer but it was worth the wait. The noodles had obviously not been sitting in there long so they had a perfect texture. The broth was clean and savory. So if you are not in a rush and you can ignore the small bit of chaos but you want fresh and excellent quality, I highly recommend this place. Since this place had recently opened my husband and I waited until last week to eat there. The restaurant is kept very clean which is what I noticed first. Thumb's up to that! There was a good amount of seating and, they had both booth's and table's. We chose to sit in a booth but, as we are of larger size probably would have been more comfortable at a table. The table's in the booth's do not move. The gentleman came right away and asked us if we would like something to drink. We had heard so much about the Vietnamese Coffee that we had to give it a try. WOW, it pack's a good little punch. If you are sensitive to caffeine may I suggest that you stay away from this drink. LOL I ordered the Chicken Pho and the Crispy egg rolls. So delicious. I ordered the small bowl of Pho and took some of that home as well as 2 of the egg rolls. My husband ordered the Beef and Vegetables over rice noodles and had like a light brown gravy over it. He also ordered the pork & shrimp spring roll's that I might add were Huge!!!! He enjoyed both and showed them by eating everything. We are definitely going back. The service was not very good. Ordered water and soda with our meals. After a while the water showed up. Ordered our food. I had the Pho' soup and my wife had a combination dinner with fried rice, sausage, shrimp and vegetables. I was served my soup which a man brought to the table with and additional soup on his tray and after we questioned him he said it was for another table. Finally my wife got her dinner after the server walked around with it for a while. It was only barely warm and the flavor was not very good. She did not finish her dinner. When her dinner was served we had to remind the server we did not receive our soda. Pricing was OK but I have had much better Vietnamese food and certainly much better service. My wife will not return and I don't think I will either. First impressions are hard to forget. read more

Have tried this place twice now. The first time was a call in order,everything was ready when I got there, they were happy to give me extra peanut sauce and chili sauce when I asked at no charge. This time I dined in, place was packed, I was seated immediately. I placed my order in a couple minutes and my food and drink came out in less than 5 minutes. Chicken Pho was wonderful, lots of chicken and noodles. Everything was fresh and tasted great. Glad to finally have a solid Vietnamese place in South Corona. I will definitely be back! read more

We were very excited that a Pho restaurant was opening closer to our home! The food here is excellent and the service was really good. We ordered the Pho and one of the beef and rice dishes, along with the egg roll appetizer. Everything tasted amazing, the wait staff were attentive and really friendly, and the atmosphere is comfortable and laid back, while still looking really nice. Made the mistake of coming in toward the end of the dinner rush to place a to go order. I understand its a rather new restaurant and went in expecting to wait a good while but was surprised to see it took a full hour and a half to make two sandwiches. My issue wasn't the wait but the fact that i was being constantly told "its coming out soon" as i watched new parties get seated, served, pay and leave while i waited. I felt like a nuisance just standing there and only one server approached me to offer some water after a good hour. The food was alright in the end but the system definitely needs some work. Maybe it wouldn't have taken as long if had sat down to order or if i had brought the whole family in. I'll definitely be trying this place again in the future, i just won't make the mistake of ordering to go again. read more

I went to the PHO 36 restaurant for a to- go order. Had two Chicken PHO soup orders and a sandwich. The food was delicious, and while I waited I spoke with a very kind waitress. She got me water and answered all of my questions. I saw my friend Ruth there, enjoying dinner with her granddaughter. What they both ordered looked great. I will go back with my friend Oscar, or pick up another to-go order since I don't live too far away. I was impressed by the amount of chicken that was provided in the soup. Not your average new Vietnamese restaurant. It incorporates a clean and modern atmosphere while embodying the spirit of an old hole in the wall authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The service is on point and genuine. And let's not forget the prices. They are amazing prices, not something you usually see with new restaurants. I was very excited to hear that a Vietnamese restaurant was opening in this location. I usually have to drive towards riverside to eat at a semi decent pho shop. Upon arrival I was instantly impressed by the bright and lovely decor. I love the booth seating and the cleanliness of the restaurant in general. Service was quick, prompt and not to overbearing. We started with to specialty drinks. I had a milk tea with boba and she had a strawberry smoothie. Both were insanely delicious and very fresh tasting. We also started with shrimp and pork spring rolls which did not let down. The peanut sauce and the fresh mint flavors were perfect. K had a small bowl of pho with rare steak and fatty Brisket. I can always tell if I'm gonna like the soup based on the broth before I add anything and it was perfectly salted, and flavorful due to the amount of green and white onions. Yum! I like to add a bit of siracha and jalapeños and it only added to the flavor experience. My sister had a BBQ pork bahn Mi and fried rice. The bread and the fresh cucumbers on the bahn mi was to die for. Like it was baked that day almost. Johnny the manager came over and ran out cards and thanked us personally for coming in which I think is always a great gesture. I didn't catch the names of the servers who helped but again the service was on par. Will definitely be back, sooner than later for sure. read more
