Want it spicy, saltier or with a different protein? Just ask and they'll be happy to reasonably assist. Not to mention they get the food out in 15 minutes or less. As for the food, the move is absolutely a Beef Pho with a Shaking Beef Banh Mi, stay there and you'll never regret going back. I'm giving this a 3-star because my son liked it, did not love it but liked it. I sadly wanted to throw up. They Pho was to go and they put the meat, onions, noodles into a container for us to put in the broth. The meat looked gross and unsanitary. I put in the pieces I thought might be ok, discarding the rest. Are five bites... really the noodles. Closed it up and threw it away. My mind couldn't get past the look of the meat. Dinner here tonight was excellent. Smiling attentive waitress, clean, somewhat minimalist interior. I started with the Salty Lemonade. I was skeptical when I ordered it having never heard of that before and was pleasantly surprised that it tasted delicious. It's definitely unusual but refreshing. We also had the spring rolls which were fresh and had a nice peanut sauce for dipping. I had the Bun Bo Hue which is a spicy (but not too spicy) beef soup. I was surprised by the variety of meats in it. It also had a piece of pork blood cake which might be off putting for the average American. I love pho 544. My kids love the pho tai. I always order the steak and eggs.(comes out on a sizzling skillet) so yummy! I tried the new menu item (hu Tieu) I ordered to go and did the half egg noodle and half clear noodle. It is super flavorful. The Vietnamese iced coffee is a must! The service is always great here, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is big and can seat large groups. When family visits we bring them here. Great service! I went here with two toddlers and three adults. The staff took all the craziness in good stride. Pho was really good. Veggie stir fry was awesome and came with rice. Pork banh mi was awesome - the pork had a very smoky grilled flavor. I'll be back. This place is wonderful. read more

The flavor was okay, but the meat looked really unappetizing. What really got me was that the soup spoons are already sitting out on the tables for you to grab. If they were wrapped it would make sense, but it made me question how sanitary the utensils really are with people constantly eating around them. My husband and I's new favorite pho restaurant in the Dallas area! The pho broth was clear and delicious-- you can tell they make it from scratch in their kitchen and take great pride in it! I always saw this restaurant on social media and everything, but I never actually got to sit down and eat there. I was excited to finally try it, I ordered the egg rolls, Vietnamese chicken wings, pho đặc biệt (house special), and the shaken beef garlic noodles. I thought the egg rolls had a good crisp, but it was just regular egg rolls. The wings also had a good crisp, but I wish it had more sauce on it because i feel like it didn't have enough and that would've made it 100 times better. The pho was good and tasted lighter than other pho I have had, it was different but it was nice. The shaken beef garlic noodles was probably my favorite, the meat was nice and tender and it was definitely garlic noodles. Disappointed & Frustrated - Not Worth the Drive! I drove 40 minutes to try this restaurant after seeing its 4-star rating and all the hype about the shaken beef with garlic noodles. I decided to add a side of steamed broccoli for $2.45, expecting a decent portion. When I finally got home, I opened the container and saw... FOUR PIECES of broccoli. That's it. I was shocked and frustrated. Times are tough, and food is expensive, but come on--have some decency to give customers a fair portion! I called the restaurant to let them know how far I drove and what I discovered. The person on the phone told me to remind them next time so they could add more. No, there won't be a next time. I didn't call for a personal favor--I called so they could fix this for all future customers. Lesson learned: Always check your to-go order before leaving any restaurant! read more

The food and service here is very good. We love the crispy fresh bean sprouts and veggies that go with the pho noodle soups.

Really wanted to love them but the Bun Bo Hue was sadly a let down. Presentation was fantastic but the flavors, noodles, and meat were off. The noodles were on the harder side like they needed to be cooked a bit longer. The flavor of the soup was not as strong as it should be. The meat tasted like they were old. I brought it up to the owner (I think it was him or one of them), telling him it doesn't quite taste like BBH. He kept saying that it's been a long time since he's been to Vietnam and doesn't know how Bun Bo Hue is supposed to taste like and apologized for the disappointment. This is one of our staple restaurants!! Our family comes here at least once a week and the experience is always consistently amazing, with the food never lacking in flavor! Today, we decided to go somewhere a lot closer to home (we live in Wylie) and gave Pho 544 a shot and were pleasantly surprised. The pho here is actually pretty good. I usually judge a pho restaurant on whether or not I have to dump a bunch of hoisin and sriracha into it or not and I kept my pho bowl pure today. The broth was rich, flavorful and comforting. In the picture it looks like they didn't give me any meat but I'm a tendon girly so they're hard to see in the photo since they're the same color as the broth. The bun bo hue was solid too -- not our favorite but still a good option. I do love that Pho 544 gives you the ability to control the spice and they ask you on a level from 1-5 what spice level you want. The Bo Ne was ok -- we are a little particular because we love the Bo Ne in Houston. Overall, Pho 544 is a great nearby option for us when we don't want to make the trek out to Garland! read more

After seeing the surf and turf lobster shaken beef garlic noodles online, I had to go try it! It looks exactly as advertised! It is pricey but the beef was delicious. Tender and juicy with so much flavor. However there was a couple cubes that were very raw which I had to spit out. The dish is drenched in garlic on the beef and in the noodles which gave it so much aroma and flavor. The egg noodles were fantastic. The lobster was a miss for me. It was pretty tough and didn't really have much flavor. This made the dish more expensive but it didn't enhance it at all. My boyfriend had the pork banh mi and said it was average.
