Beef broth Pho w/ boiled brisket, meatball and beef slices
    David S.

Overall, the food was amazing. The pho had a light broth but I generally didn't mind it, it gave room for me to add some more flavor with the sauces (being the chili sauce and I believe it's calls "hairu sauce" I can't remember), and the steamed pork dumplings with the sauce provided were absolutely amazing. And though we had fried rice, we were too full to try it so I'm so glad we were able to get a take out box. The service was great, our server was very nice and he smiled a lot which added to the already amazing ambiance of the restaurant.

counter pick up - pay - you have to go up and pay in the end.

Oh my! Garland, TX.. has a gem! While in town, we were looking for some comfort food. With so many chain restaurants, a basic meal was just so hard to find. We lucked out and found this place around the block from the hotel we were at. Venue vibe was traditional and straight forward. As you walk in and see the tables, you have condiments ready - so they know they mean business. You can pick your seat and the wait staff ( 1 ) is on point and attentive. Ok- Now for the food. I chose the Pho with rare rib eye ( and extra of course! ). My father in law who is a Veteran in his 80s rode along with us, He had regular fried rice with beef. The rice he ate literally brought back a memory of the first time he had fried rice in his 20s while in the military. He even remembered the beer and friends he was with. Now you know the food is stellar if it brings you back so many years! As for the Pho! Photo says it all, you can see the broth is made in house and from scratch. Loved it and literally had the bowl with all the fixings. The coconut drink was just the icing on this meal. Prices are very reasonable compared to LV! This truly a place everyone should try! If your in town - give it a try !!!!

This is a great place to have pho on a cold day. The sandwiches are also very good. The restaurant is big and very clean.

Amazing pho & service. Since there is no authentic Vietnam restaurant in Mesquite I came here and was not disappointed.

My favorite pho place! Great-tasting broth. Fresh vegetables, dumplings and egg rolls are so good.

Tables were dirty. Food was mediocre first time at this place. We'll never go back. Don't know what else to say.

It's a Hue specialty, so it's not something you can find at just any Vietnamese restaurant. The bánh ít ram was good and I would order it again. It wasn't the best I've ever had, especially compared to what we had in Vietnam, but it was still good enough to satisfy the craving. Definitely worth trying if you're a fan of Hue food or bánh ít ram! A bonus about this restaurant is that the service was really great and everyone was just so sweet. The restaurant was also well kept and nice.

Everything had a very authentic, homemade feel, and it was nice to find a place that offers so many Huế-style and Central Vietnamese specialties. The small dishes were especially fun to share, and the sugar cane juice was a refreshing addition to the meal. Overall, Goc Hue is a great spot if you enjoy Vietnamese food and want something beyond the usual pho or banh mi options. We would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

The bread is made fresh in house. You can see all the racks when you walk in. This place is more of a bakery than anything. I think they sell 5 loaves for a few bucks. It's absolutely the best. So crisp in the outside and tender like poboy bread on the inside. The sandwich toppings were nice. I got the basic ham and it was full of flavor. The pickled veg were so well seasoned and nice. It was a very nice compliment to the rich pork and some sort of spread they had on it. I could not get enough of this thing. I truly thought i hated bahn mi.
