I am new to the area and found this while searching for Pho places. The service was good the soup is great! Some Pho places I've visited are very stingy with the meat portions. Not this place. The perfect balance of broth, meat, sprouts, cilantro, onions and noodles. Yummy! Oh, did I mention how delicious the soup is?? LOL Will definitely go back to this establishment!

I've only visited a few other pho shops in the tri-state area and this by far has been tops. To each is own and liking with pho, but I prefer my broth not too salty and depth of flavor and aromatics is a must. I also prefer a light broth. The accoutrements provided were as expected, and the large serving is acceptable. The water served in Mason jars with handle is a nice touch. The menu is not as extensive as other shops, with only a few apps and no hot pot offerings. Service was friendly and food came out quick and pipping hot. I'll be sure to visit again when the hunger pangs for pho are calling.

It was great to find another location of my favorite Pho restaurant (pho 5up Crofton ) They might need to battle it out for my love because they make fantastic tofu and veggie pho with veggie broth. I cannot wait to try other things and compare what else is good here In 5UP Annapolis Service is sure-fire; I have seen them be consistently friendly to carry out customers like myself and eat in alike

    See that steamy broth?!?

This has become a thing of ours ... finding a pho spot for dinner as we head home from road-trips. Today landed us in Annapolis heading home from the Chelsea match at FedEx field. I was pretty shocked when my bf said let's get Pho. I was gonna aim for Caribbean I mean we literally just baked in the sun for well over 3.5 hours. In any event here we are and I was thinking ok maybe I'll get a rice vermicelli dish. It would've been cool and refreshing-come to find out it's strictly Pho. Now that we kinda have sample Pho's across a few states now we've become quite the judges. Flavor profiles and meat to noodle, noodle ratios and of course price point. So here's how this place ranked. Price is spot on! It's probably one of the most affordable ones we've been to. That said, they definitely didn't sacrifice on quality as both of us agreed that this place had the best beef to noodle ratio. Now that said my being a pastarian can and always wants more pasta n in this case Pho. The broth was not the best broth we've had and it certainly wasn't the worse. I do think that there should have been at least two meatball halves vs the quarter of a sliver that was in my bowl. Mind you there was a lot of meat just not the meatball. Is this the place to go to when you are craving food? Absolutely!! It was certainly a hit!

Love It. Súper casual. Simple menu. Easy to get a good meal. The dining area is basic but works well. It's decorated with cityscapes. I enjoyed that. The food comes out quick and I found It rather healthy. We will be back! Parking is strip mall but ample.

Simple, well executed and tasty. Would def recommend to those in the area. Steady customers but food is still timely. Started with Veg Springs rolls and had the Brisket Pho....both excellent!

Service: 4 out of 5. It was good but there's plenty more room for improvement. We were immediately greeted with a kind and warm welcome by this beautiful young lady. We waited for less than 5 minutes for a table. (Around 1:30pm) . We were offered a high chair for my younger daughter but we politely declined. We asked for NO CILANTRO for my child's pho.. but the soup was served with cilantro. Food: 3.5 out of 5. Clear broth , very clean .. it could use some more spices, to our tasting. I had to put a lot of basil and chilli oil to my soup to give more flavor. Ambiance: 3 out of 5. It was okay.. busy it could use some music in the background. Yes we recommend this but we definitely had far more better pho before.

Average pho place in my opinion but service was quick & was nice to see some vegetarian options! Was perfect for the rainy weather this weekend!

    #5 Pho for the win.

From the moment I walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without feeling overbearing. I stopped by for a weekend lunch and ordered the #38 cold noodle dish with beef and shrimp, and it absolutely delivered. The noodles were refreshing and perfectly balanced, while the combination of beef and shrimp made the dish surprisingly hearty without feeling heavy. Every bite tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. I also ordered the jasmine iced tea, which was easily one of the best parts of the meal. It had the perfect level of sweetness -- light, smooth, and incredibly refreshing. Overall, this spot exceeded my expectations. Simple setting, outstanding food, and excellent service. I'll definitely be making my way back here very soon.

Came here for lunch on Monday (MLK Day) around 1:30 with my wife, and it honestly hit me that we've…read morebeen here plenty of times but I've never actually left a review. Which is wild, because I know I've taken a bunch of food pics here that I've never posted... complete waste lol. We walked in and were seated immediately and ended up getting the second-to-last available booth. Most of the room was couples on lunch dates, plus a group of friends, and later a party of about 7 took over one of the tables. Noise level was mostly moderate, with a quick sprinkle of loud when that bigger group got going, but nothing crazy, still totally fine for a date or a relaxed lunch. My wife ordered the A2 (slices of eye of round steak, well-done flank, and soft tendon). I got the A6 (eye of round steak and soft tendon). The pho was good, the broth had a lot of flavor. I did order extra noodles because while I like the pho here, the portions are a little smaller compared to some other spots we go to. I loaded mine up with bean sprouts, tore up some basil, and let the jalapeños sit in the bowl for a bit for heat. Lately though, I've been more about the chili oil, which they'll bring out if you ask. We also got shrimp summer rolls, which are always a go-to for me when eating pho anywhere. These were fresh, great texture, and the basil really pops. The peanut sauce is one of the best parts. Honestly, I could come here just for the summer rolls and that sauce. I also grabbed a taro smoothie, lightly sweet and creamy, solid choice. Food came out fast, maybe 8 minutes after ordering. Service here is consistently good. The staff is friendly, not pushy at all, and they actually check in on you without hovering. You can always get someone's attention if you need something. They even let a couple move from a table to a booth once one opened up, which I thought was a nice touch. The place itself is very clean, the tables and floors are always well kept. I don't really remember music, but there was a TV on playing college basketball. Overall vibe is relaxed. Parking can be a little tight since it's tucked behind a Rita's and the layout is kind of awkward, but even when it's full you're not walking far, just a compact lot. Price-wise, our total was about $40, but that included an extra summer roll and an extra smoothie. Without the extras, it would've been under $30. My only real critique is portion size for the price, specifically with the pho. It's not a deal breaker, but it's why this isn't my go-to spot when I'm really hungry. I'm a big guy with a big appetite -- my wife would be fine eating here any day of the week. Would I come back? Yeah. The food is good and the service is solid. For me, this is more of a quick lunch spot or a stop when I'm on the move, rather than a full dinner destination. Consistent, reliable, and never a bad choice, just depends on how hungry you are.
