Great food, wish I could order through yelp. Website offers to order online but requires too much personal information imo. Additionally, I have the understanding that they use MSG if that is a concern for you (can give people headaches). I have yet to try their pho but their noodle bowls and spring rolls were delicious and well portioned. The style is a sort of Vietnamese Chipotle where you can pick out various ingredients you want on your dish. Really hope they change their online ordering, I would love to see them on Eat 24. Soup has a good flavor, there's only one size. We tried the iced coffee it was decent, but was pre-made. The spring rolls cold and hot both had good flavors, only the cold was a little chewier than I usually eat. Service is always pleasant. read more

Meh. This is like...suburban middle America style pho. This is Olive Garden pho. This is the Red Lobster of pho places. Very homogenized " Hey Brad honey, let's pick up something 'exotic' for date night and then netflix old epis of Parks & Rec!" Perhaps I have a higher standard because I am from the West Coast where there are huge populations of Vietnamese people (and consequently lots of pho restaurants ) but this one was a'ight. I had the vegetarian pho and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The tofu had no seasoning and the soup itself was mere vegetable broth (no specialty seasonings either) The boba tea was not only overpriced ($3.99) for only 12-16 oz but unlike the norm in many Asian shops (boba is not just a Vietnamese specialty but can be found in ethnic venues from Filipino to Japanese), the flavors were few and you could not get it "slushed" or blended. The mango flavor tastes like liquid amoxicillin...which means it was likely intended to be slushed to cut down the sweetness/flavor a bit. All in all, would I personally go again? Nah. Silver Spring, D.C., and NoVa aren't that far away such that I would need to compromise my palate so drastically. Should others go? Yeah sure, I mean for some Olive Garden is awesome Italian food. read more

It is so good to have a simple and delicious pho place in the area. And not on Main Street with a crowd of tourists. The pho itself is very good. The scent of fresh basil combines with the other spices to greet you at the door. Pricing seems a little high until you see the quality and quantity of portions. Fit Noodles is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. Unfortunately, Pho is an eating experience that shouldn't be rushed. The fast casual environment of this establishment just doesn't feel right. But, I appreciate how quickly everything came out and the pho was hot and yummy. If you commonly patronize establishments like Caphe Bahn Mi, for example, and your expectations regarding pho and noodle bowls are influenced accordingly, then this is not the place for you. We ordered the following items: - Special combo: eye round rare steak, well-done brisket, flank and meat balls - Shrimp Noodle Bowl The noodles in the Special Combo were clumped together in masses, and the meat was all well-done (as in not rare). In relative terms, this was like lunch meat labeled "roast beef" to actual roast beef. The noodles in the Shrimp Noodle Bowl were the equivalent of boil-in-a-bag rice in terms of taste and texture; the shrimp was flavorless with a hint of "fishy"; and the sauce was nondescript brown salty liquid. None of the elements came together. In relative terms, this was like calling two slices of wonder bread a sandwich. read more

I liked this place when it first opened. Ate there at least once a week. Then one day, I thought maybe they had not washed the vegetables and that I was getting a little dirt with each bite. After around the third or fourth bite, I spit out my food onto a napkin to see if it was indeed dirt. It was NOT. My food was filled with broken glass. At the bottom of the container when I began to take out the other food, there were a ton of glass shards sitting at the bottom. This made me not want to return. Really good Pho! My wife and I lived in Kauai before here and experienced some amazing Pho. This place matched what we had previously experienced. Love the freshly grilled meat then you top it with a wonderful assortment of fresh options (like lettuce, cucumber, peanuts, tomatoes...) I ordered takeout here and I was very impressed by the packaging of it first of all. They give you a nice sized bowl to use which I wasn't expecting.
