I stopped by pho 68 before my trip home for some take out. My first impressions on the restaurant is that it is very clean, well decorated, and the staff was super friendly. I was given a cup of iced water while waiting for take out which was appreciated. I was shown the newest menu they have which I've attached photos of; I purchased the bone marrow pho, a beef banh mi, a pork banh mi, and 2 vietnamese iced coffees. I'm not the biggest fan of pho, but I had to for this bone marrow dish! This is so hard to find I knew I couldn't pass it up. It was absolutely delicious and they had a great variety of meat that was all tender. I love the soft tendon it's my personal favorite! The banh mis are just as good and are THE perfect baguette texture, not too crispy and not too fluffy. Now with their coffee, I personally prefer an authentic phin drip cà phê sữa đá for the rich flavoring, as I believe this is just bottled lees coffee. It's still good, but could be better. It's amazing how much variety they have that can be difficult to find, like BÒ NÉ, as it reminds me of home in Vietnam. Overall, a great experience and I am 100% coming back to try more! read more

The pho is pretty good. I had the chicken but was a bit light on the chicken although I ordered extra for three dollars more. The service is friendly and prices are fair. My daughter had a chicken and Rice dish which she wasn't too thrilled with. The chicken had a lot of tendon and looked rubbery . Still all in all a decent pho spot read more

Absolutely 10/10. Server was so nice and prompt. I didn't know we would get a complementary app. It's these crispy light delicious munchies. I got the combination pho ($15) it came out in about 7 minutes. The broth was on the savory side which I personally prefer for my pho broth. The meat tasted quite fresh as I enjoyed the brisket and meatball the most. Staff was very friendly. Overall it felt like typical Vietnamese restaurant, that met my expectations. Hubby and I had lunch at Pho 68 Vietnamese Cuisine today for the first time. We were first served a plate of shrimp crackers. Crunchy and flavorful. For our appetizer, we had the egg rolls. The roll skins were not as crispy as we like (a little on the soft side), but the filling was so delicious!! I had the Pho Tai (excellent broth, plenty of noodles and beef), and hubby had the grilled pork with vermicelli. Also delicious. Nice size portions. We were very pleased with the friendly service, as well as our lunch. The place is pretty casual. We will have to go back to try other items on the menu. read more

Limited menu today because it was their soft opening. Atmosphere was nice with everything brand new. High chairs are available. We ordered grilled pork spring rolls, a large pho 68, and special 68 rice (com tam), Thai tea, Vietnamese milk iced coffee with added boba. The grilled pork spring rolls looked like they were rolled by an amateur, not even closed properly. The sauce that came with the spring rolls was bland, not good. At least the Entrées were good. Pho broth was on point, however, the size was disappointing. The portion was small for a "large" size at $16.99. It is great they offer rare beef on the menu, about time to have this option in Wilmington. Bean sprouts were pretty fresh, unlike Pho Basil. Special 68 rice came with a light seaweed soup, which was not listed on the menu, so that was a nice surprise. The com tam dish overall was good, pretty close in flavor and quality to my favorite Com Tam Dat Thanh restaurant in San Jose, Cali. I'm so happy that there is finally a com tam dish in town that has all of the typical food items with the egg cake, shredded pork skin, soup (although, used to just plain broth served with it). Pork had good charred, salty, and sweet flavor. Fish sauce was good, the usual. Dish didn't come with a knife so had to ask for a knife. Thai tea did not taste good, don't know what's up with that. Vietnamese milk iced coffee was alright, doesn't hold up to my favorite back home in San Jose. Didn't taste like there was any sweetened condensed milk. I asked for Boba to be added, but they didn't have the chewy Boba, only the popping Boba, so that was disappointing. Our waiter was sweet and tried his best with what he had to work with. A friend and I decided to come try the new pho place in town- I love pho, so the more options, the better! The restaurant is really clean with good spacing between tables. We were able to find a seat quickly and our waiter, Hunter, was incredibly attentive our entire meal! I ordered the egg roll app which was crunchy and not super oily. Very tasty! I also ordered the rare beef and beefball pho which was delicious! It was way less salty than other phos I've had so I was able to add in everything I wanted without overpowering the flavor of the broth. Quite tasty! Tried for the first time. The restaurant is clean and bright. Service was very good. We liked the spring rolls, they were delicious. I had the Combo Pho and husband had the Special Pho. I liked the broth but that was about it. The meat in it was so chewy I just could not deal with the texture. Noodle were fine. My husband said the same. Went back to this place after we came back to visit Wilminton. So 1st off - no hot tea? This is a pho place and if you are Vietnamese - hot tea is a familiar item and should be available. As far as the pho dac Viet, it was not all that. Give the broth a 3, but the cut, slice of various meat could be better. Wife had the bun Bo hue and it is claim to be Hue style.... False advertising since it did not come close - sorry! Service was also bad - ask for sprite and a lemonade and it was mid way into dinner. The Vietnamese lemonade taste like sprite and a lemon in it - not lemonade. I would not recommend this after this. read more

What a great place to find super authentic Pho and other vietnamese dishes. The Pho had very tender beef with other choices available. The medium size pho dish would be a large one anywhere else. I always hate to post a negative review on a locally owned business. We have tried this place twice since they opened. The first experience was so so. The bahn mi sandwich was nowhere near as good as some of the other places in town and we regretted trying that dish. The second visit will keep us from trying it again. Posting a picture of the "specialty fried rice with shrimp." Two shrimps - that's all you get with this specialty dish. We had ordered two of them and besides the shrimp part the smell and taste was so overwhelming we honestly just tossed it. We're not picky eaters or foodies - just regular folks who eat most anything. I think the entirely of the sauce must have been comprised of fish sauce. The pho we ordered was decent, but it seemed the person who took the order was not crazy about accommodating the removal of one of the veggies from the side box for a food allergy. The veggies in it were clearly frozen from one of those mixed bags at the grocery store and tossed into the rice for just long enough to defrost them. The bean sprouts were pretty old and we got exactly 1 packet of hoisin and 1 packet of sriracha - so if you're a fan of either you may want to request extra. I did call to inquire if a mistake was made in our order but there was no acknowledgment of a mistake nor an offer to make things right. Overall, we would rather frequent one of the other Pho places in town that offer consistently good food but if you're really in a pinch this place will likely fix your craving for pho. read more

I really wanted a banh mi sandwich. My fav place in town had ran out of bread so I tried this place. Super regretful... I ordered take out and called it in. After I picked up the food, I realized in the car I didn't have all of the sandwiches I ordered. So I went back in and the gentleman said I didn't order more than the one. When I clearly did as over the phone we had discussed the one sandwich they didn't have available so I ordered the other two. Whatever, I left. The banh mi was really sad. It barely had any filling at all. It was so disappointing. And it was very paste like - I had gotten the bbq pork. It was smaller than others but it was also cheaper so I didn't mind it but it wasn't filled much. Literally 2 tiny strips of beef that didnt cover the sandwich and veggies. I also ordered chicken pho and beef pho, and an order of the fried spring rolls/egg rolls. Both pho broths were not pleasant. They were very sweet for some reason. My wife and kids didn't eat theirs either. The spring rolls were crispy but the taste wasn't there. It was lacking flavor... I've lived in many cities and I can say I've never been to a terrible Vietnamese place. This was the first. If you like authentic Vietnamese food, this isn't it, in my opinion. read more

Nothing but good things to say! We always have a great experience here! The service is exceptional, they're so kind and also quick! We crave this on a regular basis and make a 30 minute, well worth it drive, and have not had anything we don't love, and that goes for both food and drink! We can never just settle on one thing so we get an assortment to share. We love love the Pho, the Bahn mi, and the spring rolls, those are our usuals! He gets the strawberry smoothie and I get the peach iced tea, both so refreshing and tasty! We stopped by during their soft opening when the menu was limited, but of course were perfectly happy to try the pho. We each had the Pho 68 with short rib and I must say, it's the most meat I've ever had in a bowl of pho. All the types/components were balanced, flavorful and tender. The broth was truly the best I've had & while I'm not an expert in Pho, I've had plenty and could taste the true depth of flavor and complexity from a slow cooking method. I enjoyed a different herb (flavor adjacent to cilantro but looked more like romaine) provided with the basil - though I always want more herbs!! The pork and shrimp roll was fresh and packed well, not skimpy on portions yet perfect bite size to share. They were busy but service was attentive and very friendly. The environment and decor are very nice, clear, simple while also having great character. I'm excited to try their steak and eggs as well as another pork dish near the back of the menu.
