Ordered a small pho tai on an outing with some friends. The owners were very kind and service was fast. It's a decent bowl of pho, so it's good to eat when you need something quick. I also had the cha gio egg rolls and those were pretty good! Crisp and fried to perfection. My friends also had the spring rolls which they said was also very good. I would go at least once to try it. This restaurant is inside a plaza with plenty of parking.

I always have a great experience at Pho 71. The owner personally greeted us and we had our order taken so fast. We were checked on a bunch and made sure we had everything. We got 2 bowls of pho, the beef spring rolls (amazing) and Thai tea and all were fantastic. There is always nice relaxing music playing. This is our go-to Pho spot in Pearland.

Formerly known as Pho 518; the current owners worked with a chef from Oklahoma to revise some menu items. There's some remodeling of the interior; looks nicer.  Service was good & food came out quick. I ordered a small pho tai. It's hard to explain. The broth is not bad however it's pretty average (lacking a pho scent). There's another place in Pearland that has a more prominent pho broth. Spring rolls were also average, but the egg rolls were hot & delicious! Will revisit at some point.

The food was 10/10 we actually didn't mean to go inside this restaurant but happy we ended up there from egg rolls to the cut steak they had! Service was very helpful they have a QR code to order so you don't have to be waiting to be helped but they do walk around if you need anything else. The plaza where this restaurant is located has a easy and plenty of parking it's very spacious and after eating you can walk around & get a dessert

I've been here twice and decided to post my experience. Both trips visits to this restaurant I ordered the shrimp pho (large) because my back is big. The bowl is significantly bigger without the huge price difference. The pho was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and the perfect temperature. I added cilantro and chopped jalapeños for an elevated flavor. Fresh vegetables are brought to you on a plate to add to the pho. Quick service in a clean restaurant. The food is healthy and healing. I'll be back baby!

Pho 518 was decent for Pearland...But the New Pho 71 is on the same level as anything you can get in town and I'd say better than most!! Obviously a family owned restaurant so they understand the importance of customer service, great thing to find these days!! The restaurant has undergone major cleaning and the quality of the ingredients have been upgraded.

Under a new owner. It was Pho 518. The food tastes and flavors were great! The inside of the restaurant is clean and new furniture

I needed to pick up some quick lunch mid work day and opened Yelp and literally just picked the first place in the area. I stumbled upon the Pho 518 restaurant and I wasn't upset at all with the decision. I ordered the chicken vermicelli plate and that was all. My total was only about $9.45 and I left an extra as a tip. I did order to go, but the restaurant isn't all that. Just a large room with some tables and lots of open space. Not really the cleanest place I've been but definitely not the worst. Ambiance is the only ding here, for the 4 star rating. The service was great, only one cashier but she was very easy to speak with and order. Seems like she's working double duty as the waitress too, so big props to her. Give her a raise. The chicken vermicelli. Wonderful. The chicken was actually well cooked and nice and flavorful. The noodles perfectly cooked and in addition with the extra toppings, this was a great meal. The dipping sauce provided is a mystery to me, I'm not even sure what it is..but it's enjoyable. I'm not really one to eat a big lunch but definitely finished the entire plate at my desk back at the office. Will definitely have to stop back by to try some other things on the menu.

First time visiting Pho 71, the restaurant is clean and the staff were extremely friendly. I ordered the Vietnamese eggrolls and shrimp pho which was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Whenever we walked in for dinner around half the tables were full of people and service was still very fast. The interior of the restaurant is nice but nothing too standout from other Chinese restaurants. We got cream cheese puffs, house spicy wide noodle soup, a chicken dish, soup dumplings, cream baos , and a fish dish, and all of it was fairly good. My least favorite was the cheese puffs, which were incredibly hot but I didn't find much very special about either the filling nor the crunchy wrapper. My next critique is their handmade noodles. It is personal preference, but I prefer my noodles to be a lot more chewy and on the more al dente side of things, rather than the more soft noodles we got (both the wide and the original noodles). As for what I liked, it was just about everything else we got. The house noodle soup was nice and comforting, not being super heavy but still carrying good flavor (I would ask for the regular version and add in spice after tasting the broth). Both the fish and chicken dishes that we got were very interesting and I especially enjoyed the lightness of the fish dish. The soup dumplings we got were very flavorful, well balanced, and had a very bouncy yet soft wrapper texture. The cream baos, though admittedly lacking some vanilla and texture consistency across each bao, were still really good and comparable to ones you'd find in Bellaire. Overall, my experience was fairly good and I would go here again if I find myself in the Pearland area.

Family owned restaurants always have a special place in my heart as my parents were one when I was growing up. The decor isn't the most aesthetic, but what made this place special are the authentic food items they have. It is a mix of Taiwanese, Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, and Korean dishes. For appetizer, I ordered the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken. It was crispy. The flavors of the Thai basils were almost nonexistent, and the flavor was not really there, compare to other places I had. The bowl of the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup was massive. Both my palms fit on top of the bowl! It came with green onions and bok choy on top. It traditionally comes with mustard greens, but this one didn't. The flavor for this noodle soup was spectacular! It does have mild spice level. Service was lovely. It's far west Pearland so a little bit of a drive from where I live in Pearland. It is located in a shopping strip and parking was not an issue. I don't think reservations are required, but my brother called ahead just in case and our table was awaiting when we arrived. I had mixed feelings about the customer service. It started off strong but as time went on our waiter was less and less available. Luckily, the great food made up for mid service. This was our first time here and we weren't sure what the portion sizes were like. Their menu is like other Thai restaurants and categorized by appetizers, soups, salads, fried rice, noodles, curries and some other specials. We made sure we didn't double up on anything and got a spread that gave us a little bit of everything. When the food came out, we realized we could've maybe got a few less dishes and still been satisfied as the portions here were huge. The food did come out a little staggered, but were hot and fresh. Me personally, I went with the Pad C-Ewe. This or drunken noodles are my go to at most Thai places. They did an excellent job here. The flat flat noodles were cooked to perfection along with the Chinese broccoli. I used for a level four out of five on spice level and they delivered on that. I want to sweat when eating Thai food. I barely put a dent in my dish and this was with doing family style with all our plates. Everything I tried from fried rice to two different curries all hit the spot. I had to practice restraint and not order the mango sticky rice because I physically had no room to put it down. Overall, Thaicoon is another solid Thai restaurant in the Pearland area. I will most definitely be back.

My husband ordered "Cashew" with chicken - it included cashews, carrots, bell pepper, onion and dried peppers. Both entrees came with a veggie egg roll. (pics attached). I wasn't a fan of my dish but my husband liked his. I did really like the egg roll. I think I'll give this place another chance but will get something different. Also, I'll get chicken next time.
