This time I actually sat inside and had the chips ken Pho (dark meat). The place is not large at all but the waitress and host are SO SO attentive. Service was OUTSTANDING!!!!!! Now the Pho....man it was so good. The little jar with the red spice is......well let say go lite. It is spicy but adds a great flavor. The Pho had lots of chicken in it. They give you bean sprouts, mint, cilantro, lime , and sliced jalapeños on the side. In the picture that is a large bowl and it was a lot. The egg rolls were so good. You can't go wrong g going here. Ordered a small pho tai on an outing with some friends. The owners were very kind and service was fast. It's a decent bowl of pho, so it's good to eat when you need something quick. I also had the cha gio egg rolls and those were pretty good! Crisp and fried to perfection. My friends also had the spring rolls which they said was also very good. While the winter storm took full effect on Tuesday evening, Pho 71 stood as one of the only restaurants still open in Pearland at 8pm. This place took over the Pho 518 that previously resided here. On my way home, I ordered takeout Pho Dac Biet (house special) in a hurry since even some of the local roads began to get icy. A courteous woman rang my order up and brought it out within 5 minutes. Although a small costs $11.95 dining in, takeout will charge about $1 extra since the containers are bigger. The noodles and meats all tasted great. The Pho Dac Biet feels like a no-brainer to me since all the pho dishes cost the same, although I suppose the most basic Pho Tai would be a safe bet if you're picky or an uncertain newbie to Viet food. The broth could've used a little more salt -- something I don't find myself saying too often -- but still tasted fine overall. My photo deceivingly suggests that they didn't provide me enough broth. In reality, they gave me an enormous amount of noodles, meats, and bean sprouts which I'm certainly not complaining about. Just make sure to add the plastic wrapped brisket before all else; it comes raw for you to cook in the broth by yourself. Not a bad comfort food spot for Pearland. Their pho feels like an upgrade compared to the previous establishment. I'll provide an update on the banh mi whenever I get the chance to revisit. read more

I always have a great experience at Pho 71. The owner personally greeted us and we had our order taken so fast. We were checked on a bunch and made sure we had everything. We got 2 bowls of pho, the beef spring rolls (amazing) and Thai tea and all were fantastic. There is always nice relaxing music playing. This is our go-to Pho spot in Pearland. read more

There's some remodeling of the interior; looks nicer.  Service was good & food came out quick. I ordered a small pho tai. It's hard to explain. The broth is not bad however it's pretty average (lacking a pho scent). There's another place in Pearland that has a more prominent pho broth. Spring rolls were also average, but the egg rolls were hot & delicious! Will revisit at some point. read more

The food was 10/10 we actually didn't mean to go inside this restaurant but happy we ended up there from egg rolls to the cut steak they had! Service was very helpful they have a QR code to order so you don't have to be waiting to be helped but they do walk around if you need anything else. I've been here twice and decided to post my experience. Both trips visits to this restaurant I ordered the shrimp pho (large) because my back is big. The bowl is significantly bigger without the huge price difference. The pho was delicious, fresh, flavorful, and the perfect temperature. I added cilantro and chopped jalapeños for an elevated flavor. Fresh vegetables are brought to you on a plate to add to the pho. Quick service in a clean restaurant. The food is healthy and healing. I needed to pick up some quick lunch mid work day and opened Yelp and literally just picked the first place in the area. I stumbled upon the Pho 518 restaurant and I wasn't upset at all with the decision. I ordered the chicken vermicelli plate and that was all. My total was only about $9.45 and I left an extra as a tip. I did order to go, but the restaurant isn't all that. Just a large room with some tables and lots of open space. Not really the cleanest place I've been but definitely not the worst. Ambiance is the only ding here, for the 4 star rating.The service was great, only one cashier but she was very easy to speak with and order. Seems like she's working double duty as the waitress too, so big props to her. Give her a raise. The chicken vermicelli. Wonderful. The chicken was actually well cooked and nice and flavorful. The noodles perfectly cooked and in addition with the extra toppings, this was a great meal. The dipping sauce provided is a mystery to me, I'm not even sure what it is..but it's enjoyable. I'm not really one to eat a big lunch but definitely finished the entire plate at my desk back at the office. Will definitely have to stop back by to try some other things on the menu. read more

Ordered for pick up/to go the Shaking Beef with Fried Rice, Chicken w/Rice and Veggies, Chicken w/Vermicelli and Veggies, and Shrimp Springrolls (not pictured). The staff was friendly and accommodating. The Chicken w/Vermicelli and Veggies and Eggrolls were pretty good. It was a light and simple meal. Springrolls come in an order of two and were made exactly how I like it. The peanut sauce was pretty decent. So today I was stuck at work and I left my food at home knowing I was gonna be here for 9+ hours to decide to look for delivery options and food locations all way out here in Manville. I only started working out here a month ago so I'm not used to driving 12 places, so upon my research on Uber eats I discovered Pho 518 restaurant. They're running a great deal on Uber so I decided to get a small bowl of chicken soup and two spring rolls. Everything was on par. This time around I did ask for extra noodles because I heard they don't provide bowls (which isn't always the case but a bonus if / and when they do) and I was gunna make small batches and microwave the broth eat time I got a chance at work to eat. This is now my go to Banh Mi establishment. Excellent portion, price is good considering the restaurant is on Broadway, taste is great. I always order 2. I only give it 4 stars because the establishment itself is pretty quiet. Not to many people dine in and I always take out during the weekend. I'm not a big fan of soups or pho anyway, so I don't hold it against them that 518 didn't win me over, but I do I love what they do with their grilled chicken. It's sweet and delicious, makes their chicken spring rolls one of my favorite app dishes in all the land of Pear, and is probably the biggest reason why I like this place so much. Service is friendly and really quick, which is great when you dine in, but causes problems if you call in an order to go as your food dies while you're going to pick it up. I see a lot of people walk in and order their carry out orders and I suspect that this is the reason why. 3 stars. Overall, a good little spot. read more

This place is a little ways from my workplace but I don't mind the drive. The food is always fresh and hot. I would suggest calling your order ahead because they get pretty busy during lunch time. My favorite thing is their grilled pork spring rolls. They are SO GOOD. A lot of places I've been don't offer the grilled pork option and these are so yummy. They're made in house-I've seen them making them! Their Pho is a good portion and very flavorful. They also have cafe sua da (Vietnamese iced coffee) and it's good as well. I don't believe they have it on the menu so you just have to ask for it. The building is a little older, so it could use some love. There is plenty of seating. A few downsides are that a couple of times the soy sauce/condiments have been a little greasy and in need of a wipe down. Other than that, I would recommend if you're looking for a lunch spot! read more
