    Large pho
    Kathy C.

Quick service. Food comes out hot and fast. Decent price for the area ($13.50 for a large bowl). However it seems the quality isnt what it used to be. The broth seemed really watered down as compared to when I last dined here years ago. It had little to no flavor and tasted mostly like water. You can see in the picture how clear it is.

Best pho 75 in Rockville. The price is fair.

Visited for lunch with my family. The servers and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The quality of the pho and ingredients was excellent as well; we ordered a #3. Food came quickly and was hot which is the best case scenario. Seating was plentiful.

Hearty pho at an affordable price. They only serve one item: Pho which makes for a speedy service.

This is a cash only restaurant. Drinks and food came out very quickly. The large pho is the perfect size, with a generous amount of meat and good flavor. Perfect for a cold day!

Pho 75 is an institution in the DMV. I've had the pleasure of growing up eating here and the pho is still top notch. My family and I always get the large pho and they come out piping hot, full of meat/noodles, and that delicious pho flavor. The noodles are cooked perfectly and bean sprouts/basil are always fresh. We also love the small desserts they have in the fridge. The corn rice pudding is so yummy. Couple of notes: - cash only - you enter the restaurant, get a staff's (usually moving around completing a task) attention, let them know how many people you have, get directed to seat - you could be sharing a larger table with other parties - once you order, turnaround of getting food is very fast - pay at the cashier - hours are a little inconsistent so check opening times beforehand

The best pho in Rockville! Cash only. The pho here surpasses any others around. The soup, a deep and beefy stock that will surely warm you during any cold weather. The toppings fresh and the meat galore, not like the skimpy meat toppings at others. Forget inflation, a large bowl is only about $12. Who in the world gets a small at $11. Always packed. Get the #1. The service here is as fast as it can be for a family run restaurant that's always full during rush hours. The ambiance feels like Asia and has a bit of a vintage feel.

Pho was decent! If you're lookin( for an affordable, quick meal this is your spot. It doesn't compare to spots on the West coast or a home-cooked pho though if that's what you're looking for. But it gets the job done on a cold day! Cash only so don't forget to bring cash! Parking can be chaos no matter what time of day because of all the restaurants in this tiny plaza. We went over to the Giant and parked over there. Saw a few other ppl did the same.

Ask the Community - Pho 75

Are they still open for business? Stopped by around 4pm today and it's closed..

Do they add sugar to their broth? I am doing Keto and plan to order soup without noodles. Thanks!

Traditionally pho has rock sugar as one of its ingredients, so I wouldn't be surprised if Pho 75's broth has a bit of sugar!

How do I put together the ice coffee?

When they bring it out, wait. Occasionally lift the lid until the fluid is drained from top into bottom. This can take 5+ mins. Then take off top portion and use spoon to mix condensed milk and coffee. Mix well and then mix again. Then pour over ice…

Didn't expect the food to come out so quick. I ordered a smaller bowl. Need to get the bigger one next time. Glad the extra noodles weren't too expensive. The broth was very soothing. Finished it. The place is a quiet restaurant tucked away in the corner of a strip mall and the service from beginning to end was very kind. The menu was borderline overwhelming because there were so many choices. You almost have to go in with a game plan. They have street food style cuisine, large plates, and a ton of options. The good news is that out of everything I tried, they were all delicious, so I don't know that there's a bad game plan to be made here. Everything was very well-balanced and had great depth of flavors. This is also the type of restaurant where when they say spicy, it means spicy, so just be forewarned. Such a cute, clean restaurant with friendly service. I'm already addicted to the papaya salad and will definitely be coming back!

We were greeted and seated relatively quickly and looked over the menu at our table. We asked the waitress if they had fish cakes, since we saw pictures of them on Yelp from this place. She didn't say anything, just pointed at something completely different on the menu. My wife repeated "fish cakes," and she pointed at the chive cakes. It looks like they used to serve them and took them off. That's a simple question with a simple answer, but instead of just saying that, she pointed at a menu twice and made it feel like we were bothering her. We started with the larb chicken and it was good. Limey, strong fish sauce, a little spicy, good contrasting textures. All good things. It's also the only thing I took a picture of, since by that point the experience had started to sour. For entrees, my wife got the boat noodles and I got the krapow. I asked the server to confirm the chicken was ground and she said yes. It came out sliced. Turns out the ground chicken version is on the menu as Chop-Chop Basil, but I was unfamiliar with the menu. It was an easy thing for her to correct but she didn't. I didn't make a thing of it, but it was annoying. I only had a bite of the boat noodles, but it was good. Nice balance of savory with a touch of sweetness. The meatballs were soft and bouncy, the meat was tender, good textures all around. The krapow was very good, mix-up aside. I asked for Thai spicy and they delivered. Excellent flavor, very tender meat, not too sweet. Probably one of the better krapows I've had out here. The part that really soured it was overhearing the manager with another table. An elderly couple and a friend had asked for their vegetables cooked well done since they can't chew firm food. They sent it back saying it was still too firm. The manager came out and basically yelled at them, saying they'd already cooked it longer than usual and couldn't cook it any more, and that next time he'd just put it in a blender. The couple had been nothing but kind about the whole thing. The kitchen did end up cooking it longer, but he never came back out to check if it was actually satisfactory. Maybe that isn't required, but the whole thing read like he was annoyed with them. The food here is excellent, easily five stars on its own. I'm docking a star for service. It was rude how they spoke to the elderly customers, rude to point silently at a menu instead of just saying the fish cakes are gone, and frustrating to be told the meat was ground when it wasn't. I'm not sure I can go back and dine in because it felt like we were a nuisance the whole time. I'll probably do carry out from now on. The inside is small and quaint and it looks like it gets busy around dinner, so come early if you want a table.

Pho Nom Nom was close and had decent reviews so off I went. I walked into a pleasant, smallish restaurant with soothing decor. Several tables and booths were occupied, so I took that as a good sign that people liked the food. The server, Ben, was attentive and helped me choose a pho: slices of round steak and meatballs. I ordered a large bowl but should have gotten a small. A robot delivered my order to the table with the help of Ben, which was a hoot. I have to say that the scent of the broth hit my nose first and it was heavenly. The accompaniments of lime, basil, bean sprouts and jalapeno slices were very fresh. I added a few modest squirts of sriracha sauce and got to eating. The round steak was a nice surprise ... steak in pho can be very chewy and this bowl had decently tender slices. I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the meatballs. They looked like half slices of a firm sausage (for comparison). They didn't taste bad, they just weren't my jam and I enjoyed the steak more. Next time I'd like to try the steak and brisket. Comfort food is filling so I took my leftovers home so I could have the pho for dinner (yay!). Of course, I had to end the meal with an iced Vietnamese coffee. Strong in the best way and not overly sweet, I took it to go and it gave me plenty of energy to finish my errands throughout the day.
