Pho 75 is an institution in the DMV. I've had the pleasure of growing up eating here and the pho is still top notch. My family and I always get the large pho and they come out piping hot, full of meat/noodles, and that delicious pho flavor. The noodles are cooked perfectly and bean sprouts/basil are always fresh. We also love the small desserts they have in the fridge. The corn rice pudding is so yummy. Couple of notes: - cash only - you enter the restaurant, get a staff's (usually moving around completing a task) attention, let them know how many people you have, get directed to seat - you could be sharing a larger table with other parties - once you order, turnaround of getting food is very fast - pay at the cashier - hours are a little inconsistent so check opening times beforehand

The best pho in Rockville! Cash only. The pho here surpasses any others around. The soup, a deep and beefy stock that will surely warm you during any cold weather. The toppings fresh and the meat galore, not like the skimpy meat toppings at others. Forget inflation, a large bowl is only about $12. Who in the world gets a small at $11. Always packed. Get the #1. The service here is as fast as it can be for a family run restaurant that's always full during rush hours. The ambiance feels like Asia and has a bit of a vintage feel.

Pho was decent! If you're lookin( for an affordable, quick meal this is your spot. It doesn't compare to spots on the West coast or a home-cooked pho though if that's what you're looking for. But it gets the job done on a cold day! Cash only so don't forget to bring cash! Parking can be chaos no matter what time of day because of all the restaurants in this tiny plaza. We went over to the Giant and parked over there. Saw a few other ppl did the same.

This place is the GOAT of Pho. Time after time, restaurants come and go but the excellence of the broth here doesn't change. Sometimes, I come often. Sometimes it's months before I return but each time I am welcomed by the quality taste that is always the same and never compromised. A lot of new Asian restaurants are popping up in the Rockville area which is great. But if Pho is what you're looking for here's where you need to come.

Cost effective and tasty Pho in Rockville, MD. Spring rolls and Summer rolls were both good as well They close a little early on Sundays so don't wait too late to go eat

It's been over a decade since I've been to Pho 75. They still only take cash, but now offer two appetizers (Spring and Summer rolls). Service is still fast and decent. Got seated right away even at the peak of the lunch hour. Order a #9, which came with well-done brisket, flank, and skirt steak. Broth was light and had good flavor to it. My bowl came with a good amount of beef, which were sliced thin and had no fat. Toppings (bean sprouts, jalapeños, and a slice of lime) came on a small Dixie plate. Washed down my pho with a Thai iced tea, which was sweeter than I'm used to. Not sure I'd order this one again. Luckily it came with a glass of water, which again was in a Dixie cup. If you're looking for a no frills pho place to satisfy your craving, check out Pho 75. Parking can be tough with so many businesses in the strip mall, so bring your patience.

The pho here is very good and tasty, and so is the Vietnamese coffee. I had the Number 1 pho on the menu (Tai, Nam, Gau, Gan, Sach ... slices of eye-round steak, well-done flank, fat brisket, soft tendon, and beef tripe). I also had the Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk. Just for your information, they take cash only, which I think gives this place a very nice and unique charm. The only downside is that the hot Vietnamese coffee came in a plastic cup, and I do not think it is even good to have hot drinks in a plastic cup. The two locations I went to in Virginia used real, regular, reusable tea cups to put the coffee in. Otherwise, all else was good. The staff were nice, the food was good, and prices were very reasonable.

This is a great spot to get some nice pho and other Vietnamese dishes! The price is very affordable, and the portion sizes are very nice. It feels very cozy and low scale, which I like personally. It's not your expensive restaurant with incredible interior design, but it does its job, and makes amazing tasting pho. Would highly recommend on a cold day, and it is definitely one of my top choices for pho in the Rockville area. Just make sure to bring cash because they are a cash-only place. Also, order very clearly and loudly.

Ask the Community - Pho 75

Are they still open for business? Stopped by around 4pm today and it's closed..

Do they add sugar to their broth? I am doing Keto and plan to order soup without noodles. Thanks!

Traditionally pho has rock sugar as one of its ingredients, so I wouldn't be surprised if Pho 75's broth has a bit of sugar!

How do I put together the ice coffee?

When they bring it out, wait. Occasionally lift the lid until the fluid is drained from top into bottom. This can take 5+ mins. Then take off top portion and use spoon to mix condensed milk and coffee. Mix well and then mix again. Then pour over ice… Read more

To further fulfill that nostalgic feeling of my weekends having lunch at Eden Center with my parents as a teen, I ordered an avocado smoothie to sip while looking over the menu. I have never been to Hanoi so there were some dishes I hadn't tried before but if a Vietnamese restaurant tells you what their house specials are, you should listen to them. I only ordered three of their house special dishes because I only had one other person to share these large portions with but I definitely wanted to try more. All three dishes were hits! The bun bo hue had a deep shrimp paste flavor, which is exactly what I was craving. Some people complained that it lacked lemongrass, I agree, but it's in there and not a big deal for me. There was plenty of meat in the bowl, the meatballs were bouncy and meaty (maybe even made in house), the pork blood was great quality and not chalky at all. Red cabbage is served on the side with thai basil, lime, and jalapeños; great alternative for banana blossom. The bun cha Hanoi was our favorite. It comes with a heaping serving of house made meatballs and pork belly. The fish sauce it comes in was a little blander than I like but I asked for a little extra raw fish sauce and chilis to spruce it up. It's all served with a mound of vermicelli and fresh veggies/herbs. This was my husband's first time trying this dish and he was obsessed! We also added a nem cua be (crab egg roll) add on so we could try one. Glad we only got the one because it was huge and packed with meat! It was delicious but would have been very filling as an appetizer. I also ordered the banh cuon cha lua which I took one bite of and had to pack home because I was too full to eat it there. This is one of my favorite dishes so I had to try it too! The rice paper crepes were great! Filling was a little lighter but the portion made up for it. Again, I spruced up the fish sauce a bit at home. I really enjoyed dining here. It fills that craving for authentic Vietnamese food without having to go all the way to Silver Spring or Eden Center. I will try to be a little more adventurous next time we head over and try the bun dau mam tom. It looks amazing!

Really awful. Well so much for that. This crepe is so delicious, I will come back here just to get it. The egg itself is wonderfully crispy. It does not get soggy when you dip it in the dipping sauce. It comes with large pieces of romaine lettuce and a huge spring of basil leaves. It was awesome . The ambiance is very pleasant. It is large, spacious, clean, well-lit, with attractive pictures on the wall and two screens in the front. One has beautiful marine life swimming around and the other one has menu items. It is relaxing and attractive . The service was friendly and efficient. Although I don't think her English was very advanced, it didn't interfere with my ordering or getting something I liked. Bottom line, I have added this to one of the restaurants I'm going to put in my regular rotation. I can't wait to try their other stuff. TLDR: WALKED IN OFF THE STREET NOT KNOWING WHAT TO EXPECT. Total came out to approximately $47. What's Hot - Quality. My noodle dish with lemongrass tofu and veggies was delicious. I enjoyed the flavor and the dish wasn't dry. Their shrimp spring rolls are delicious, as well. Their food isn't overly salty, as well. - Menu. There's something for everyone, even vegans. Their menu states their vegetarian options use vegetable broth. - Price. For the portions and quality, it's good value for money. - Location. Easy to find. It's in a small plaza amongst other shops and restaurants. The interior can be fairly tight. It's a decent space, but their tables and chairs cannot accommodate more than a party of 4. - Service. Pretty good. They gave me an estimated wait time of 15 minutes for our order. There is a small rack in front of their front desk, where you place your order, where they put their takeaway orders. Everything is packed tightly and neatly, which is very helpful, given that you may be transporting broth and dishes that are wrapped in saran wrap, as well. None of our food spilled. What's Not - Banh mi. The flavor of the banh mi was good, but my husband felt the sandwich was a little dry. There was no additional flavor to the sandwich and/or toppings, aside from the fillings. My husband added some sriracha sauce to the sandwich, which added some flavor and some moisture. To each their own, but just be aware, depending on your preference for sandwiches. - To go charge. The receipt showed that we were charged an additional fee, because we ordered takeaway. On the one hand, it makes sense, because there are additional containers and packaging required for takeaway. I appreciate that it was shown on the receipt. On the other hand, there are not many restaurants I have come across that charge for takeaway, and I was surprised of such charges. - Parking. It's a small plaza and there are parking spots available, but it can be difficult to find, depending on the day and time you're there. Final Answer Willing to come here again, but not a first choice.
