    Our delicious spring rolls.
    Joy B.

On a cold, rainy afternoon, we decided to warm ourselves with a warm bowl of pho. But, the story here is not just the pho, but some of the other delicious dishes we tried. For appetizers, we started off with spring rolls. They were freshly made and had a large portion of shrimp. The peanut dipping sauce, has siracha already added to it. But, our wonderful waiter brought me some sauce, without the siracha. It was rich and creamy. Then, we had a quail appetizer. It was roasted quail in a tasty sauce. The quail was cooked perfectly, fall off the bone, and so good, you want to savor the experience. Next, we both had pho. A rich, hearty broth filled with shrimp in my case and tender beef in my dining partners. It was huge and there was plenty to take home. We also ordered Hunan Chicken. I loved the rice. I have no idea how they cooked it or what spices the put in it, but it was wonderful. The chicken itself was moist and tender. It was served with two dipping sauce. It was my dining partner's favorite dish. But, for me, it had a tad bit too much ginger. But, if you like ginger, this dish is a must order. It got excellent comments in reviews we read. Service was excellent. Our meals came out in perfect timing. Our water cups were always full. Our waiter was nice and accommodating. It is a lovely quaint designed restaurant with plenty of seating. It was my first time there, but certainly won't be my last. As Arnold Schwarzenegger said in the Terminator, " I'll be back!"

    #2 PHO!

I love pho so much, I would eat this on a hot summer day! A good pho place is hard to find!. However, this place satisfies my palate. Friendly service from the get-go. Nice, cozy interior. I always get #2 with a peach ice tea. Not many places can make a good broth. Most salt it down, not good, but this place has the tastiest broth, no matter what proteins you get. I strongly recommend eating in because it tastes different when you get carry out. Service can be slow. Then again it's one guy running the show. The garnishes are a little skimpy. I love tons of scallions, Thai Basil and limes. Other places Like Pho House are very generous with that. The peach tea, expensive for what you get. Not that sweet or flavorful. They added too much noodles and not so much meat. Which is why I gave them 4 stars

Great Vietnamese food at reasonable prices. Be sure to try their offerings besides pho. I love their pork vermicelli; light, full of veggies, porky, and delicious. Also, try their Bun bo Hue. A Vietnamese friend told me they have the most authentic version in the area. Most of my orders are takeout, so I'm not the best to judge their service and ambiance. However, the lady behind the counter is always friendly when I go to pick up food.

While shopping at the nearby Trader Joe's, I would often notice Pholicious. As a lover of Pho, my interest was always piqued. I finally had the opportunity to try out the restaurant and I liked it. The pho was hot and flavorful. Even though the restaurant was relatively full (it was Father's Day), I was seated quickly, ordered in a decent amount of time and received my pho very quickly. The staff was super attentive and was always standing by waiting to refill my water glass. All in all, I have no complaints about the restaurant.

I took all of the meat out and set it aside to snap a pic...then I gave it to the dog.

I'm not Vietnamese and am no expert on pho, but I'm pretty sure this much fat is gross by anyone's standards. I love pho and have had it at a lot of different places, and this is hands down the worst. I ordered the beef flank steak and brisket (P9) dish. Totally not palatable. I thought it was a fluke the first time so I gave it a second chance. In the back of my mind I wonder if they give me the bottom of the barrel because I ordered it through Uber Eats, but either way, lesson learned.

I love salt and pepper fish fillets, so I was extremely happy to see it on the menu here. It was delicious! The fish was crispy and the seasoning was great! There was a perfect amount of pepper to salt to garlic. There were plenty of jalapeños to add a kick to each bite too! I also was craving the boneless Hainan chicken again and it was great! It was a little less salty than before and I definitely would order it again and again. I am updating my review to 4 stars because what I've had there is good and I am excited to try more menu items!

Spicy chicken noodle soup- not spicy

Sadly, by far, the worst pho I've had. I was at Trader Joe's across the way, famished and saw this place. Because I'd been craving pho, I thought it was faith to see this restaurant as I'm exiting the store. The staff were very friendly upon my arrival. I ordered their spicy chicken noodle soup and there was absolutely nothing spicy about this soup. It tasted watery and lacked any real flavor. I was highly disappointed. I also ordered the lemongrass chicken in the rare event that the soup was not good, that was also tasteless and a waste of carbs. Needless to say, I won't be back.

This place is a Malaysian Canto Chinese restaurant that also sells pho. Their non pho dishes are great. I just had the pholucious noodles and belacan fried rice and they are both authentic to Indonesian/Malaysian Chinese flavors. I am eager to try their other non pho dishes.

DELICIOUS lemongrass chicken vermicelli! The chicken is so tender and bursting with bright lemongrass flavor. The beef pad see ew was great as well- not too salty or oily. The summer rolls were fresh. A great place for takeout! They are also doing dine-in.

Stopped by this place first time. Very clean. The pho was on point. Service was attentive. The egg rolls was the standout for me on this meals. They have an extensive menu beyond just pho. I will try out other stuff next time I am in the area.

We were greeted and seated relatively quickly and looked over the menu at our table. We asked the waitress if they had fish cakes, since we saw pictures of them on Yelp from this place. She didn't say anything, just pointed at something completely different on the menu. My wife repeated "fish cakes," and she pointed at the chive cakes. It looks like they used to serve them and took them off. That's a simple question with a simple answer, but instead of just saying that, she pointed at a menu twice and made it feel like we were bothering her. We started with the larb chicken and it was good. Limey, strong fish sauce, a little spicy, good contrasting textures. All good things. It's also the only thing I took a picture of, since by that point the experience had started to sour. For entrees, my wife got the boat noodles and I got the krapow. I asked the server to confirm the chicken was ground and she said yes. It came out sliced. Turns out the ground chicken version is on the menu as Chop-Chop Basil, but I was unfamiliar with the menu. It was an easy thing for her to correct but she didn't. I didn't make a thing of it, but it was annoying. I only had a bite of the boat noodles, but it was good. Nice balance of savory with a touch of sweetness. The meatballs were soft and bouncy, the meat was tender, good textures all around. The krapow was very good, mix-up aside. I asked for Thai spicy and they delivered. Excellent flavor, very tender meat, not too sweet. Probably one of the better krapows I've had out here. The part that really soured it was overhearing the manager with another table. An elderly couple and a friend had asked for their vegetables cooked well done since they can't chew firm food. They sent it back saying it was still too firm. The manager came out and basically yelled at them, saying they'd already cooked it longer than usual and couldn't cook it any more, and that next time he'd just put it in a blender. The couple had been nothing but kind about the whole thing. The kitchen did end up cooking it longer, but he never came back out to check if it was actually satisfactory. Maybe that isn't required, but the whole thing read like he was annoyed with them. The food here is excellent, easily five stars on its own. I'm docking a star for service. It was rude how they spoke to the elderly customers, rude to point silently at a menu instead of just saying the fish cakes are gone, and frustrating to be told the meat was ground when it wasn't. I'm not sure I can go back and dine in because it felt like we were a nuisance the whole time. I'll probably do carry out from now on. The inside is small and quaint and it looks like it gets busy around dinner, so come early if you want a table.

I ordered a large bowl but should have gotten a small. A robot delivered my order to the table with the help of Ben, which was a hoot. I have to say that the scent of the broth hit my nose first and it was heavenly. The accompaniments of lime, basil, bean sprouts and jalapeno slices were very fresh. I added a few modest squirts of sriracha sauce and got to eating. The round steak was a nice surprise ... steak in pho can be very chewy and this bowl had decently tender slices. I have to admit I wasn't a fan of the meatballs. They looked like half slices of a firm sausage (for comparison). They didn't taste bad, they just weren't my jam and I enjoyed the steak more. Next time I'd like to try the steak and brisket. Comfort food is filling so I took my leftovers home so I could have the pho for dinner (yay!).
