I was in between grabbing some ramen or pho for dinner on a chilly Miami night, and I'm so glad I went with pho! It was amazing. I ordered the beef flank and beef brisket pho ...so flavorful, and I loved how thinly sliced the meat was. They give you a separate plate for toppings, so you can customize it exactly how you like. A quick heads up tho, when they say large bowl, they really mean it! The portion was HUGE ! I couldn't even finish it and had to take some home. My mom got the pork chops, which were also phenomenal. They came with white rice and a fried egg on top, and the chops had this delicious glaze, kind of like a subtle barbecue sauce. Everything was seriously so good

Sadly this is not a positive review but it is honest. And I will gladly change it to a positive review in the future if my experiences change. I was with a group of 5, we all really love pho and was excited to try. The customer service and politeness was amazing and we got seated right away. If it wasn't for the hair in my bun bo hue, I would have been more generous about the star. Usually, when there's foreign objects (like hair) in my food, the staff will take the plate away and bring back a new one. I think they forgot what I ordered so the new soup they gave me was a beef pho but not bun bo hue =\ I didn't bring it up though because I didn't want to inconvenience the kitchen. My girlfriend said her fries were great but the chicken pho she ordered sent her to the bathroom 9 times the next day. So yeah, I wish we had a better experience because the staff was friendly.

    14. Crispy Pork Egg Rolls

We came for dinner and ordered the crispy pork spring rolls as an appetizer. I had the beef shot rib platter and hubby had a banh mi with pho broth to dip it in. We also had two lemonades. Everything was good and our waitress was attentive and sweet. They charge a service fee if you use a credit card so bring cash!

I stopped by Pho79 and ordered the vegetarian pho, and I'm glad I did. The broth was incredibly aromatic, with a depth of flavor that felt both light and comforting. It had that signature pho warmth and umami richness. The vegetables were fresh and added a nice textural contrast to the tender and silky noodles. Side note...Don't forget to load your pho up with the accompaniments they offer. The fresh basil pairs so well with the broth, and that chili crunch can really level up the experience. Service was just as impressive. We arrived close to closing, but our waitress was friendly, welcoming, and made sure we never felt rushed. The atmosphere is casual with a touch of modern. Overall good energy...relaxed but lively enough to make it feel like an exciting place. Can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu.

When I think of comfort foods pho is definitely at the top of my list. I ordered small #31, classic banh mi and the pork vermicelli to go for lunch the next day (I am always thinking about my next mean, can you tell?). I've had to get used to not having much Asian food in Miami and have to search far and wide for what is acceptable to me. The pho broth was rich and flavorful. The meats were yummy. The banh mi was a little weird in how they filled it. I've never had the meats vertically stacked like that. It was on the small side as well for $9+. It was ok... I've had better and meatier banh mi's. Probably wouldn't order it again. The fried dough had a delicious chocolate and condensed milk sauce. It really hit the spot for dessert. I took the pork vermicelli home and had it for lunch. THe presentation isn't great but it was pretty delicious. The flavor of the pork was *chef's kiss*. I was charred just right and the marinade they used, I could have it every day and probably not get sick of it. The service was quick and efficient. No complaints there!

I got delivered chicken pho. It was exceptionally fresh. It came with all the fixings for a very tasty soup. This experience will have me check them out in person soon.

i've been coming here for 5+ years and it's the best place to come when you want a fresh, quick meal. the vermicelli with tofu and shrimp is amazing. it's light but the sauce on the protein is amazing and smokey. i tried the shrimp shumai and thai tea today and they did not disappoint. our server was super sweet and attentive. the interior is nice and dark with lots of seating.

If you want something quick and is soup this is the place to go. They welcome you right when you step in. They let you choose where you want to sit. They have a couple tv screens that is advertising their different food. From the moment you sit at the table they bring you water. The server always comes to you quick. Their pho is always yummy. They bring you a plate that comes with bean sprouts, basil and jalapeños. You don't have to add those in but those comes with the pho. I got #29 which comes with meatballs. I always add the bean sprouts and on a side plate I use the chilli garlic and the siracha sauce that they have on the table. During the lunch time they are always busy but they are always super quick.

Moving here from the DMV, we needed a go to pho place and we are so manny we found Pho79. The sizes are reasonable and their menu is very extensive. It's pretty easy to find a table but there have been a few times we have to wait to sit. I also like that there plenty of free parking at this location! Pho79 is located in a shopping strip full of other yummy restaurants. The service is always good and I love the neon lights that they added. I always order the seafood pho/rice noodle soup and it's consistently great! If you haven't tried Pho 79, I highly suggest it!

The best Vietnamese Pho and Com Sườn in town. Kevin above and beyond! He remembered all of our preferences and made excellent recommendations. The service was impeccable from start to finish. His Viet name is Mười means number 10, the name says it all!

Do we need to make a reservation to eat there? either outdoor dining or even indoors.

We are only allowed outdoor dining at the moment and no reservation is needed.

    Do they have vegan pho?

Yes I believe they have vegan pho :)

Do they serve vegan options? Specifically banh mi. I've been missing banh mi since I went vegan!!

In the menu they have a grilled tofu banh mi. So I would say yes. But maybe call to find out for sure. I'm not big on vegetables so, banh me=not for me

Is this the same recipe as the pho 79 by FIU?

No its not. I'm vietnamese and can easily tell the difference between the pho at the Pho 79 in Davie and FIU and the one in Pinecrest. Also the menu at Pinecrest is more expensive.

Do they sell Bahn mi sandwiches? I see it in the menu but no pictures anywhere. Looking for a good Bahn Mi...

    yes

Is the pho here the new recipe from Pho79?.... I hope so. I did not like Miss Saigons recipe at all.

Yes! The all of the broths are Pho 79 ‘s special recipe! Our beef broths are simmered for 24hrs before serving!

How much is the pho here since they have taken new management?

    Hello, it’s the same price.

Can you get this delivered through grub hub, u er eats?

It isn't just the amazing food that tastes better than at any other Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. It is a combination of all of those things along with the family owned business with the owners on site making sure not only that every meal is perfect but also that every customer feels welcome. I just love this place. The see-through rolls are my very favorite appetizer. I usually get the shrimp but they must've misheard me and they served me chicken. I didn't see chicken on the menu. And I would've sent it back except it was so darn good that I may actually order it from time to time. The spring rolls are also quite good though I didn't have them this visit. Today's choice was the duck in a madaman curry. Served with jasmine rice it was outstanding. The flavors were so good and the duck was excellent. Everything was cooked perfectly. I savored every bite. My wife had the pad Thai. I have had it several times and been extremely satisfied. Many restaurants make it a bit too sweet but somehow they get the balance of Sweet n Savory perfect every time. The noodles are wonderful, but the flavor of the dish is memorable. For Thai food in the area they're actually is absolutely no other choice as far as I'm concerned. This is the best. I have yet to find anything that they don't make better than anywhere else. I have tried. And I really like the people that own and run the restaurant and the kind service that they give every single visit. Highly recommended.

On my recent visit, the Thai spring rolls were perfectly crisp, and the Tom Yum and spicy lemongrass soups hit those bright, citrusy notes just right. The standout for me, though, was the Khao So, it's rare to find such a well-executed, rich version of this Northern Thai favorite locally. The service was wonderful, attentive without being overbearing. Which made the whole experience feel like dining in a friend's home. I honestly wish I lived closer because this would easily be my weekly go-to. I can't wait to return!

With that being said... I was excited to maybe find a decent Pho place here in Miami and by the reviews and pictures, figured I'd give Miss Saigon a try. So gross. The noodles were waaayyy over cooked (and did arrive separate from the broth, so it wasn't an issue of the broth continuing the cook en route) and thus they were about 3-4 inches long. Not the long pull and chewy goodness I expect from pho. But okay, pho is about the broth and the meats. I got the pho Miss Saigon (meatball, lean flank, brisket and tendon) but it also had tripe, which I really dislike. The meat was the problem. It tasted like play-dough. The broth, I could tell before even adding it to the noodles, was bland (the color was watered down apple juice, NOT the rich, umami dark brown/amber color it should be) and lacked the aromatics and complex flavors that makes pho pho. But it tasted like play-dough. The noodles, the meat, it all just permeated a play-dough taste. I hate wasting food so I tried to force feed myself as much as I could but after spitting out 3 mouthfuls, I just threw it away. Because it tasted like play-dough. Also, the broth leaked and spilled all over the plastic bag it came in, so I had to first siphon as much broth out of the plastic bag and into the soup bowl as I could before I could even eat it. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. YUCK.

There's a mix of regular folks and students (both servers and dining), which ensures pricing remains reasonable in order to cater to student budgets. I found pricing to be the same at both locations. I ordered the same Mama Pork Fried rice with an extra of shrimp, and I have to say, it was just as delicious as the Gables restaurant. I went again just yesterday, and food was just as delicious. I can't bring myself to order any other dish because it's so delicious. Dish flavor, look and texture are consistent too, not just within the same restaurant, but at least across those two locations I've visited, and I've attended twice to both locations ordering the same fried rice - it is always 'identically delicious'. I tried my friend's dishes, and they were all good, and while they wouldn't be my choice, they were all yummy. Their dishes tend to be a bit on the gooey side, but I love that, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant.
