Pho 88 is near a lot of places dear to my heart so it took me longer than I'd like to admit give them a try but I'm sure glad I did. The moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff. I ordered the egg rolls they were perfectly crispy and flavorful with delicious fish sauce. I got pho with meatballs and tendons the tendons were cooked to perfection and the broth is so flavorful. I will definitely be back it's a new favorite!

The food was very delicious, tasted very authentic. The service was friendly, not super fast but enjoyable at least. The dining room was clean and the whole experience was pleasant.

Pho 88 is a great spot for some high quality traditional Vietnamese food. The atmosphere has a diner-like feel to it, with Vietnamese art pieces decorating the walls. There is a large dining area, so this spot is also perfect for larger gatherings. Everything was also very clean and it wasn't crowded at all at 5:00PM, so I was seated immediately. The service was great as well. Servers were polite and stayed very on top of things. The food came out within 5-10 minutes of getting there and my water was refilled often. I started with the crispy chicken wings, and they were delicious. The wings were brought out still sizzling and they were crispy and flavorful. They came with a side of garlic chili sauce with a more mild heat than I'm used to. It was delicious, but as a spice guy, it wasn't quite spicy enough for me. I also ordered the Combination Pho, which was rich and had lots of different types of meat added to it. Again, it was not as spicy as I would have hoped, but the meat was juicy and the broth was super savory. I would just have wanted it to have a bit more OOMPH if you know what I mean. Overall though, great meal. This place is perfect for a nice family-style traditional Vietnamese dinner. I give it 16/20 Freys, mostly just based on personal biases with the spice levels. FREY OUT!

The guy and I always get pho when we are in a new city together. So in Orlando, we had to find a place! We used Yelp to find Pho88! After an evening downtown, it made sense! We arrived and were seated right away! The young lady who seared us was very friendly! You could tell that this is a family run restaurant. We placed our orders very quickly as we knew what we wanted right away. Our bowls of pho came out fairly fast! I always taste the broth prior to dressing my bowl and this broth was so good! It was clear...a great sign...and very flavorful. And they did not skimp on the beef either! I thoroughly enjoyed this place and will definitely remember it for a future visit.

A great local spot that has been there for years! You have to give it a try! They have all the classic Vietnamese dishes, but I can only speak about the pho. It's my go to every time! I work in the area, and what I love is you are in and out so quick. I walk in, seated immediately, order, and not 5 min later you are eating! Staff are always super friendly and quick to meet your needs. The broth at Pho 88 is super flavorful, and subtly complex. Not spicy, so don't fear! I us usually get the special, the brisket is a real treat! The setting is excactky what you want and expect. It's decorated with on brand Vietnamese iconography and it's clean and well kept! If you've never been, you have to stop by

This is a quiet resturant with a large dining area. I was surprised by the size of the resturant. There is plenty of lot parking around the building but also several street parking spots as well. The service was very fast. Within minutes of seating, we had waters and time to look over the menu. I would say the pricing is a bit higher than other Vietnamese places in town but I think the difference is in the portions. I ordered the pho with all the meats (I love tendon!) and took some home for lunch the next day. The broth is absolutely amazing. Perfect rainy day broth. I also got an order of the spring rolls which were the best rolls I have had in town. The filling did not fall out after my first bite and the peanut sauce was immaculate. My date got the curry and it also was a massive portion with plenty left over. She did mention it was a tad bit spicy for her but spice is unique to everyone. All in all, I'd definitely go back to this place. They had an interesting lunch menu but I'm not close enough to go during the week.

The pho soup base is pretty comparable to the ones in Los Angeles. I thought the food was delicious.

I went to Pho 88 from the recommendation of a friend who loves it and it was a great place to go. We were seated right away and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I had the chicken pho which was gluten free. The chicken and broth together were delicious and it was a good size portion. If you're in the Mills area I would definitely give this place a try!

Located on a busy road, there is a decent number of parking available when you drive in. Restaurant is big and spacious, we were welcomed in immediately by the servers. I ordered a beef pho, which is usually served with the raw beef cooking in the pho broth. When the server brought the bowl out, the beef had been totally cooked already. I do prefer my beef to be raw in my pho when served to me. Otherwise the taste of the broth was light enough to satisfy my cravings. I also ordered the soursop smoothie which was delicious. Vietnamese restaurants usually have it on the menu but they usually don't have it available in my experience, so I was happy that they had it when I was there.

Everything looked clean and bright inside but their indoor fountain wasn't running. We ordered the spring rolls with peanut sauce which was really good and a must order. We also ordered two hot teas and some fried honey shrimp with broccoli. There ended up being a sticker left on the bell peppers and we alerted the staff without sending it back or causing a raucous and they gave us a $10 off discount which I thought was really nice. Other than that all the food was good and I was happy with the service. However, I do miss how the hot tea used to come in a teapot with little cups.

We started with the crispy chicken dumplings--crispy on the outside with a juicy, tender chicken filling. Perfect way to kick things off. We continued with three items: Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho), Orange Chicken, and Sautéed Cubed Beef "Shaking Beef" (Cơm Bò Lúc Lắc). The Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho) was heaven on a dish. The beef stew was easily the standout--rich, flavorful, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The vermicelli noodles were just as impressive. Just reminiscing about it makes my mouth water. The "Shaking Beef" was served over white rice (highly recommend), and every bite was better than the last. The garlic butter sauce really takes it over the top. Don't be fooled by the Orange Chicken--Boneless chicken, fried perfectly and coated in their authentic sweet orange sauce. The best Orange Chicken in town, hands down. No chance of leftovers here--you won't want to put your fork down.

Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype at all. The broth was unbelievably bland--almost like flavored hot water. It lacked the rich, savory depth that's the heart of a good pho. I kept mixing the soup, hoping the flavor had just sunk to the bottom, but no. Worst $20 wasted ever. Maybe I caught them on an off day, but this was one of the most disappointing bowls of pho I've had, especially considering all the positive reviews.

From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and incredible aromas set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. Every spoonful delivered a perfect balance of savory spices and comforting warmth. The beef was tender ano plentiful, while the fresh herbs, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños allowed me to customize each bite exactly to my taste. I also added tendon which was so delicious and melted in your mouth! The portion size was generous, making it an excellent value, and everything tasted exceptionally fresh. I think any time you go to a restaurant that serves a type of ethnic cuisine, they focuses on the main or big dishes. For example, Vietnamese restaurants will always feature pho somehow and Cuban restaurants will always feature the Cuban sandwich in some capacity. However, street food or dishes that are small and meant for grab and go and sharing and to be affordable is not often featured at big sit down restaurants. The other thing is when street food is featured on a fancy sit down menu, the small plates and street food always cost more than it should in my opinion. Z Asian really surprised me in that I didn't think the prices were to unfair and it still felt elevated. They are a Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant. We went here for a date night after watching Obsession. By the way, the movie is one of the best horror movies of this year in my opinion and I think a lot of people's opinion. We parked in the back lot as they don't really have a whole lot of street parking. That was confusing entering the restaurant since we entered from the back and it wasn't clear if the restaurant was open or if we walked in through the wrong door. We got seated fast and the waitress was really nice and engaging. We ordered banh khot, which is basically a mini banh xeo. Banh khot is an eggy crepe mixture that is panfried into a circle and a small amount of seafood is placed into the middle of it. It's small and finger food sized and served with pickled veggies and fresh lettuce and fish sauce to drizzle or dip. My rating is a 9.5/10. It was crispy and full of flavor. We also tried the mango tofu salad. It's similar to a ceviche. This was a 9/10. It has a little heat to it but very good and not too wet. We then ordered grilled mussels with is what it sounds like. It's mussels halves grilled with fish sauce and crushed peanuts sprinkled on top. I rate this a 8/10. I never see this in restaurants. On a good day, I can crush like 20 of these and call it girl dinner. We got the grilled corn as well. This is corn kernels grilled in butter and garlic topped with Sriracha. I rate this a 6.5/10. I think it's a good street dished but it underwhelmed me because it's just the corn and there wasn't a vehicle to deliver it to my mouth. The last item we tried was the grilled chicken rice noodles. This was a flavorful dish of veggies and chicken and rice noodles that are cooked in a pan. The rating is a 8.5/10. My overall rating is 9/10. They bill was on the higher end but I felt like it was worth the food we were eating the service and ambiance.
