Only place to get a real lamb gyro in the valley and it was correct. Just ask for less lettuce, extra spicy and extra taziki sauce.

Panera Bread - Fuji Apple Chicken Salad & Autumn Squash Soup You Pick 2

I haven't been to Panera in several years and I think this is my first time coming for BREAKFAST…read more Arrived and the building is HUGE. It was 8am on a Wednesday and the place was EMPTY. I wondered how they stay in business. Walked to the self service computer monitor and placed my order. Placed my order but was NOT given the option to have a receipt (not even an emailed receipt). They did have a barcode to scan and track your order on your phone so I did that. It let me track my order but had no receipt option. So I had to go to the counter and ask for one. Order came out pretty quickly. This is what I ate: 1 - latte - this was the best thing I ordered and was pretty good. Right amount of froth and temperature was good. Quality espresso as well. 2 - Croissant bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. This was a pre-made breakfast sandwich that they heated in a microwave. Similar to what you would get at Starbucks. Nothing special, just ok. 3 - Cinnamon roll - I saw they advertised a "new recipe" for this and I enjoy a good cinnamon roll and gave it a try. This was the WORST thing I ordered. It was cold and tasted like something I would buy at a grocery store. Would never food ANYONE for being fresh or homemade. There are better options elsewhere!

I'm back with another review because my wife loves Panera, and I go along with it. I tried a…read moreStuffed Salad with Steak the other day, and what an adventure it was. Great idea, actually, and the first couple of bites, I thought, hey, this might be a winner. Then the aftertaste started. Then my wife asked how the steak was, and I realized I hadn't found any steak yet. Lo and behold, after digging through it, I found the steak was actually a tiny steak, well, I'll call them flakes. I knew that because of the color, not the texture, they were too small to determine texture. My wife and I discussed it after studying the tiny flecks for a while, and we had to assume that was my steak. No thanks, I tossed it and looked for something to get the taste out of my mouth. I guess I am just not a sophisticated eater.

(I had been here once last summer and it tasted very good.) This was not at all what we hoped for. The worst part was the food. I ordered pad thai and my wife ordered the red curry. I ordered a spice level 10 (hottest), and my wife ordered a level 8. Our food was at a spice level 2--almost no heat. My kids could easily handle the spice level. And the flavors were pathetically bland. With our experience in Thailand, we can confidently say the food is just sub-par. I wanted to at least request some salt (or some fish sauce and a spice tray like most Thai restaurants have), but no one ever came back to check on us. This brings me to the second worst part of the evening. The waitstaff showed very little enthusiasm. They took our order and dropped off the food. That was it. There were only three other customers in the restaurant. Even though we had disappointment with the food, there was nobody we could voice our concerns to. Another annoying factor was that, they had 80s hairband rock music pumped up pretty loud. It is just not conducive to enjoying your time. We didn't stay to finish our meal because the whole experience was so disappointing. Since the weight staff never came back to our table, I had to go upfront finally and ask for the check so we could leave. My recommendation is that you get your Thai food elsewhere--or just don't get your hopes up. Although it's not Thai, we'd recommend heading to Pho888 just one block away, or Hokkaido next door. We wish we had chosen either of them instead. Granted, Kalispell is not a sought after center for authentic Asian cuisine, and we know that. But this experience tonight was just a waste of time and money. (We headed to The River Coffee Company so we could at least somewhat rescue the remainder of our date night. Highly recommended!)
