    Chicken vermicelli

Pretty good dinner, definitely underrated at the current 2.5 stars. I had the vermicelli bowl with chicken, and pork egg rolls. I'm a huge fan of Vietnamese cuisine and it certainly wasn't among the best I've had, but it was satisfying. The egg rolls were crispy, hot, and pretty tasty, but the fish sauce was bland. Needed more of everything (fish, acid, spice). The vermicelli bowl was also decent, although the chicken was spiced with a little too much cinnamon for my liking...and here again, the fish sauce couldn't hold up its end of the bargain. I also had a good boba tea but it didn't arrive until I was halfway through my meal.

Wrong needles w pho hue bo. Extra chrg if want the correct thick noodles.

Was having lunch at this Pho99. 1190 8th Ave New Westminster bc Pho bo hue: I asked for rare beef like I always do in any pho places. In here, it costs extra for "not" having to cook the beef for me. I thought Traditional Bo Hue should always be the thick round noodles by default. This assumption was from the countless pho places that I've been to for the past 2 decades so I was surprised when that wasn't it. The flavor was not bad tho. Anyway, I asked the waiter who went to ask the manager at the back said any exchange of noodles costs extra and their default is the flat skinny noodles. Too bad it was too late because I didn't know so I didn't eat the noodles. Iced Lemon soda was room temperature and non melted sugar settled on the bottom. I called and search for websites of its other locations. They all serve bun bo hue with thick noodles and no extra charge to exchange to rare beef. We were the only customers in the restaurant so it was pretty quiet and empty. My friend got the Seafood Fried Rice. He thought it was OK. I got the beef chow ho fun which which is flat stir fried rice noodles with beef. It was also just OK. Both dishes were served with chili oil. I felt they could have added more seasoning to really make the flavors pop out. It's just not as tasty as I hoped it would be. It's a tad better than your random chinese food stalls at the food court. The food overall was not bad, i wasn't super disappointed with anything. It was cooked well at least. Our server was talkative and we felt taken care of. Shout out to Jeralyn for being a great server. 3 out of 5 stars based on this visit for the alright food.

Try their coffee bars located at various corners of the casino floors. Decent coffee and free to help yourself anytime! Also came with creamers and splendid sugar for diabetes. It was easy access by taking the bus 420 alongside the Cambie St. beside the Aberdeen Sky Train Station. It's about 20 minutes ride and then 5 minutes walk from the Broadway bus stop.

After that, we ordered from them again many, many times through the Fantuan app. The menu is simple. Basically rice and noodles, just as the name of the shop implies. They cook their food soooo well though! There's a deep "wok hei" flavor to their rice and noodles. They do also have a few other side dishes like gyoza and spring rolls which you can order, but basically we go to this place for the rice and noodles. This was the first time we actually dined in the restaurant instead of getting takeout. Highly recommend dining in! So good to eat the food fresh and hot. It's a great place to stop for a quicky, filling and tasty meal. You choose your base, then your protein, and then your level of spice. Pay at the counter, then sit down and they will bring the food out to you when it's ready. In our group we ordered some gyoza, chow mein, pad thai noodles and pad see ew noodles. I must have been hungrier than I realized, or else the food just tasted soooo good that I ended up eating my entire plate of noodles, when I really only needed about half the plate. This place is a "must try"!.

Service is friendly and prompt plus they have some unique dishes with fushion touches but the pho is still made with love and similar to your other Mom and Pop shops. Their regular size pho is quite big so though it's pricier it honestly is the equivalent to a large bowl of pho at other restaurants plus the soup has less MSG and their cuts of beef are higher quality. I really enjoyed the Special house pho regular size and though I came hungry, I almost struggled to finish the bowl. We also ordered the chicken wings which were really good and my boyfriend ordered the chicken bahn mi and said it was close to being the best bahn mi he has ever had. Also ordered the lime juice drink - shower refreshingly tart and delicious! Solid neighbourhood gem that is pricier but for quality and quantity, I think it's worth it at least for the dishes that we tried.

The show was pretty good, and a lot of people were dancing on the floor. We could also visit the casino occasionally during the meal. It was a lot of fun!
