I got number 1: House special that pretty much came with everything. B got the Spicy Sate Pho which was a special on the day we were there. My friend C got the same as me and my friend R got the bahn mi. The food here was super delicious. I really liked my pho. It had a generous portion of meat. The beef broth was very flavorful. Note that they have a special spicy sauce and you may need to ask for it if you would like to try. The place has free parking but note that this place does get very busy. Service is ok. We showed up very late at night and the place was packed. The staff looked overwhelming busy. It can be difficult to flag someone down at times. The ambiance was ok. The place is quite bright. It looks like your typical pho place. I will definitely come again.

I have come to the conclusion that this is not a good place to come to if you're Vegetarian. I am technically pescatarian but I try to eat seafood sparingly so really, most of the time I lean towards Vegetarian/ Vegan. I do enjoy the Egg Bahn Mi sandwich here; however, I was starting to tire of it and really wanted something lighter on this occasion. The Bahn Mi sandwich comes in two halves. Eating just one half is very filling already, and the sandwich isn't really something that keeps well overnight so if I order it, I feel like I should eat the entire sandwich in one sitting. Since I wanted something lighter I ordered the Vegetarian spring rolls while the rest of the table ordered regular entrees for themselves. Blah...was not impressed with the Vegetarian spring rolls. Not at all a good replacement for regular Vietnamese spring rolls. These might as well have been labelled Chinese Spring rolls cuz that's really more what it tasted like. Lychee refresher drink was good but I can't really give the restaurant a good rating for serving me one good drink, and less than mediocre food. The food is the main event at any restaurant and I wasn't impressed with the Spring rolls. There are very few options on the menu for a vegetarian at this restaurant. The food here is usually pretty decent if you're a meat eater but if you're vegetarian then drinks and the Egg Bahn Mi Sandwich are pretty much the only safe bets in my experience. Admittedly, they do have a Vegetarian bowl of Pho and a Vermicelli bowl as well. I prefer to avoid fake meats though and both of these dishes contain "Vegetarian ham." Also, I have rarely been impressed with Vegetarian Pho broth. So that's another reason I have not tried to order the Vegetarian Pho. Perhaps I should give it a try one day. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised. I am skeptical though, and the Vegetarian spring rolls only make me all the more skeptical...

I have visited this place earlier this month. I just wanted to try a different Vietnamese restaurant in Burnaby as Pho 68 was one of it. They have a big menu consisting of: bubble tea, Banhmi, noodle soup, dry noodles and rice. I got #20 Bun Bo Hue (small size $14.55) for late lunch. Size was not bad. It had some plentiful of meat toppings and the soup was on the sweeter side. Noodle was too overcooked. Food came out fast. I personally found the service to be average.

Nice newish pho place by Edmonds and Kingsway. Free parking is available in the lot attached to the building. The seating is decently large. Lots of mirrors, as well as nice large windows for people watching. Staff are friendly and quick. There was a special satay beef pho as of the time of writing. This thing is solid. Nice raw slices of beef, with cooked beef ball chunks. Soup had a nice amount of heat but wasn't excessive. My friends and I were ready to weep. Besides their fairly decent hot sauce, they also have jars of pickled garlic. I think I ate half the jar. I will be back at some point to try their other dishes, but that satay beef pho sure left an impression. Will have great difficulty trying their other stuff next time I'm here. Recommended.

I finally got the chance to dine here after reading about it a couple of years ago. The place started to fill up towards lunch time on weekend. Either go early or make a reservation if you have a group of diners. I decided on the basic house special. I got a small and add on spring roll for $2.50. It's so rare to find appetizer for such pricing now. Definitely worth it to make it a combo. The spring roll is one of the best I ever had. Despite its thinness, the spring roll is actually heavy. It's fully filled inside with meat and vegs. Encased in a thin sheet and nicely fried till crisp. It gives a satisfying crunch. The small pho is also full of ingredients and I struggle to finish it. I like how you can see it's really rare beef slices being served here. The place is also busy with many take out orders. Service is good too. Free parking in the building.

New pho in town! Our new go to. Good food, fast, good service. We always get the house special pho. Always hits the spot. Husband sometimes gets the lemongrass chicken with rice. Large portion. Plenty of seating. Clean. Underground parking.

Love their Vietnamese iced coffee here. Nice and strong imho. Pho & lemon grass pork bahn mi are pretty good. A quick and convenient place for a quick bite.

I was in the neighbourhood and looked for a pho restaurant. I need to make sure it had a four star rating and good (not fake) reviews. I came here and tried it! This pho restaurant didn't disappoint me. The interior design is more modern and contemporary comparing to old ones on Kingsway, Vancouver. Obviously the restaurant is new. Servers were friendly and attentive. Customers here were multicultural. I am talking about Chinese, Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, Caucasians, etc. it was great! That means people from different cultures like to eat Vietnamese food. The menu had some unique dishes and traditional dishes, but I could only try a few of them. My husband and I ordered a spring roll combo, which included a deep fried spring roll and two salad rolls (one shrimp and one sausage or ham). All of them were good and they came with different peanut butter sauce and fish sauce. The chef had put effort to create a more unique spring roll. It was different from the traditional ones I had been eating on Victoria and Kingsway in Vancouver. We also ordered two pho on their special menu - House Special and Northern Vietnamese style noodle soup with ginger minced steak. The latter one tasted great and I could rarely have this flavour in other Vietnamese restaurants. Pricing was reasonable. I would like to come back and try their beverages and other dishes. In terms of parking, there is street parking, or we prefer to park at the commercial parking in the building. This neighborhood is not new but the building is new with some new restaurants. It's good to explore many things on the same street as well.

Clean, new, fast service at 1.15pm. At first I thought the prices might be a bit high (sticker shock everywhere these days) but the portions are enough that both mom & I will get 2 meals each out of it. Great flavours, texture and crispy thin shelled egg rolls!!! Aaahhh crunch!!

Simple, tasty, Vietnamese food. Pho broth is pretty light, so not the place to go if you want a very rich broth, but it's good. The bún bò Huế has a much richer broth, but if you're looking for a very traditional version, the one here is missing pig's blood and pig knuckles. That being said, it's quite tasty and it's something you can share with friends who would be grossed out by the traditional version. I haven't eaten inside due to covid, but from grabbing take-out, it looks like they keep it pristine.

I expected the portions especially the meats to be larger. Got the number 1 bowl beef everything. I got half a beef ball, one tripe, one beef tendon, a few slices of beef steak and brisket and two fattie ones that were inedible. I asked to have thick vermicelli noodles instead of regular rice noodles and they were quite generous with that. Food was okay wasn't anything special or stood out. I took another star off cause my step mom said her fish cakes tasted off and old. We won't come back again.

Taste: 3.5/5 Grilled Chicken Pork Chop Rice My bf said that the grilled meat smelled good, but they would taste better if they were marinated longer. Bun cha ca
    Ceci L.

New Vietnamese restaurant, just what this area needs! They're offering 15% off during their grand opening. We ordered a bun cha ca, bun bo hue, half order of chicken wings & the everything coconut. Friendly servers, but they seemed a bit unorganized. They gave us 2 sets of utensils, but just 1 napkin. The dessert came first, then the noodles, then the wings when we were more than halfway through our meal. Good portions, we ordered a small bun cha ca and bun bo hue and both were pretty filling. The bun cha ca broth is light and tastes like it was made in house. The fish cakes are also made in house. It was good but I felt this dish was missing something, and I wasn't a fan of the thin noodles. The bun bo hue was so good! I added a bit of hot sauce and the broth was perfect. Also loved the thick noodles, just how bun bo hue should be. The chicken wings were crispy and not oily, but didn't look like the photo. It tasted like shake n bake. The half order came with five pieces and garlic pepper seasoning. The coconut everything is so refreshing and is the best dessert if you like coconut. I asked for it to go and they put it in a bubble tea cup. That's when I noticed their huge selection of bubble tea, which I'll probably try next time.
