We've braved the poor service many times because the Pho is so good. Tonight we arrived at 8:40PM. They close at 9. Another party of four arrived just before we did. The waiter announced they were closed as we walked in and began to sat down. I indicated the other table had just arrived too and we only wanted Pho. No dice. He was rude and not at all interested in having customers. I am now in search for somewhere else to eat Pho. I've had enough. They are the worst Pho restaurant around for bad service. Go somewhere else where they want customers ! read more

Really love the spring rolls and the staff is very friendly or hospitable. Got Pho soup Pho Tai and that had leanest meat. I will try the beef ball soup next time. The grilled and fried dishes look really good also. read more

I love the Pho and Spring rolls here!! I discovered this gem on accident and I've been coming here for my Pho fixes since. The portions are big and their broth is delicious. My favorite is the chicken pho. The spring rolls are light, crispy, and balanced. The service is not above and beyond,, but my orders have always been acurate and hot. First time to try Vietnamese food. It was very good and the price was reasonable. Everything was clean and the food came out quickly.

Someone else wrote that it is in the "old Dairy Queen" building - that is correct. They remodeled it and it is nice. The food is very good. There is a good variety but for me the best deal is the #31. You get grilled pork with steamed or fried rice and vegetables, a soft spring roll, a fried roll, soup and a drink for $8.99. Very reasonable and a great sample of various items. They opened a #3 in Atascocita by Dollar Tree and Goodwill in the strip where Walmart used to be (the next parking lot where Walmart currently sits). The atmosphere is just a little better here and the food is just as good as their other location's. read more

Great food! If your in the mood for some good quality authentic Vietnamese cooking, try this place out! Haven't gotten a bad dish yet. And I've eaten here several times. Each new dish is a taste adventure. For an appetizer the spring rolls are always a good choice. However if your up for something adventurous, try the shrimp cake. I've never seen them anywhere else before, and they are great! And whether your in the mood for a noodle soup, vermicelli noodle bowl or a rice plate you'll find something here to please the palette. Took them about 20 mins to get my Pho when there were only two customers . I usually come here often. They were just looking at me and Didn't ask me if I needed anything. They were just talking to each other. I have to ask them if my food was coming. read more

One of my favorite restaurants in Humble. LOVE the soup especially in the winter time. Your lucky if you can get them to refill your drinks. I always joke about this when I check out. I think they filled my glass of Ice Tea once or twice in the dozens of times I have eaten there. They would have a 5 star rating but the the service is always poor. read more

The food is OK, but not as good as what you would find in Chinatown in Bellaire. Pho is probably their best item. The meat and noodle portions are generous, although the noodles tend to stick together. The service is iffy but typical of what you would find in a family owned and operated Asian restaurant. Sometimes, it's quick and efficient, but at other times, it's agonizingly slow, even if the place is not crowded. When you walk in, make sure they see you or else you'll be ignored. If you wait more than 15 minutes for your food, be sure to follow up, because they "forgot" to put in my order during one visit. After you get your food, they won't check up on you, so you'll need to get their attention if you want anything else such as drink refills. For an Asian restaurant, the restroom is surprisingly clean and fully stocked with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. read more

Avoid. We have had issues in the past with hair in the food. Today, we noticed A LOT of dead bugs on the condiment bottles AND near the silverware they keep on the table. Again...avoid this place. read more

The food is mediocre at best. I've been to numerous Vietnamese restaurants around the state and know good Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli bowl and the pork just wasn't flavorful. The egg rolls that were in the dish were just ok....as I stated before I've had better, even the the fish sauce was bland. The Sriracha, Hoisin, and chili sauce bottles were gross to the point that I had to get a cleaner bottle from another table. Speaking of cleanliness, the wall which my table was sitting against was covered in food stains and looked disgusting. When they brought my water out it had a fly in it so I asked for another....and that was the extent of my service. Needless to say I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

This place has the best Vietnamese food that I've tried. I usually get the chopped beef, which is basically cubed steak with whole cloves of garlic and onion, which you dip in dish of salt, pepper, and lime. Their portions are a bit small for everything that isn't Pho, and technically the cubed steak is always tough if you wait to long to eat it. Their Pho broth has an enjoyable flavor compared to the other dozen places I've tried in and around Houston. It's almost sweet. The meals cost somewhere between 6-8 dollars for the most part. read more

This is the worst Vietnamese restaurant I've ever been to. The spring rolls tasted gummy and not fresh. It only had a few pieces of lettuce strands, no cucumbers, no carrots. And the pork was disgusting. Then I got the vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and egg roll. The egg rolls was so small I felt ripped off. They don't have much people in here... I know why now. I'm pregnant and started craving pho today so after getting groceries I found this restaurant on yelp and decided to give them a try. I called in my order over the phone and had a very brief conversation with the man who answered to place my to go order. He did not ask what size I wanted so I assumed there was only one. I did request white meat only. When I arrived 5 minutes later to pick up my order I read over the menu as he slowly gathered my food and saw that he had charged me for a large even thought as I previously stated I did not choose a large which was somewhat irritating to me. On my way out I exited behind two female employees were very rude- as we exited they let the door slam back into me instead of holding it open- mind you as I said I am obviously pregnant and carrying my purse, keys and food. Very rude and no acknowledgement. When I got to the car I checked out the pho and found dark meat and barely warm broth. Like I said, the time between when my order was placed and picked up was 5 minutes. Would not return - especially at $9 a bowl when I usually pay $7 elsewhere. read more

Food is always great but the service is terrible. We've come here on several occasions, if it weren't for the food being good we would not ever come back. Not only do they not greet you when you come in, the servers always have mad faces, don't say anything to you, & never come back to check on you. We have been here several times and the food is very consistant. Best Pho on this side of town IMO... Not all Pho is created equal and Pho An is very good. Spring Rolls and the peanut sauce are exceptional as well. They now have 3 locations, this one, NW Houston on 249 and 1960 by the Wal-Mart in Atascacita. I'm Vietnamese and I know my Pho, and the one at Pho An is the best and most authentic I've had outside of Viet Nam. I used to think that Little Saigon in Orange County, California, had the best Pho restaurants in the US but I now find myself comparing them with Pho An and finding them wanting. It also has the best Vietnamese iced coffee. The other dishes are OK (I'm not keen on the spring rolls) but this is a Pho restaurant first and foremost, so go there for the soup. read more

Will never eat here again out off all the pho in houston this place has the worst staff. Never smiled (the girl with short hair that kinda looks like a boy) needs to learn to smile talk to your coustmers. Been here since they been in humble. And food and staff seems to be going down hill. V bistro has better soup and staff also theycome check on you.
