It's decent.... Not something I'd write home about. I get that there are minimal options for delicious Asian food, so my friend and I decided to try this place out. Hailing from Southern California, there are many options for Asian food, so both of our palettes are well versed in the cuisine. That being said, it was actual decent, better than I thought it would be. I ordered the drunken noodles with tofu. The flavor was good and they gave good portions. What is blasphemous is the price. Maybe it's because they have to import everything, but wow, I found it 50% more than what I'd pay for here. But it is what it is. I'd say I'm just getting to the point where I can evaluate the dancing swirl of goodness each bowl represents. I started my visit with a locked door. The hours said 11:00 opening time. He gave great info when I asked about menu items and explained the "spicy-ness." I decided to start with some satay do I could peruse the very nice menu with many options. Within five minutes, a fresh, piping hot appetizer was on my table. It included a peanut sauce and a delicious cucumber sweet/sour dip. The Pho was quick to follow. It was perfect. But let me explain. It wasn't salty. It was perfect for adding the delicious sauces available on the table so I could make it the right blend of spicy. Stopped for lunch. The restaurant is nestled in between motel rooms. Small place but busy I had the pad see ew with beef and my husband had pho with meatballs. Both dishes were very tasty. Stopped by here for dinner around 7:40pm on Sunday, after checking out the Matanuska Glacier. We ordered Pad see ew with chicken, stir fry broccoli with tofu, and beef and brisket pho. Everything tasted good! The pad see ew noodles were not the wide rice noodles, but it tasted like your standard Thai pad see ew seasoning. Broccoli and tofu stir fry was good, very healthy! Lastly the pho, very authentic! We live in Los Angeles and have gone to numerous Vietnamese-owned pho restaurants, this place's pho is on par! Even their dipping sauces are standard! :) prices are good compared to other Asian restaurants we've been to in Alaska. Our three dishes came out to be $39! read more

Don't let the appearance or previous failed restaurants in this location fool you, the food at Pho and Thai is great! The spring rolls were very fresh and tasty, and the peanut sauce was really good. The dumplings were very fresh and hot, super flavorful. The satay was perfectly cooked with a slight curry flavor, our two year old loved it. It came with two sauces that were good. The pho was very flavorful, and definitely home made. The best we've found in Alaska! The pork pad thai that we ordered to bring home is SO good!! The waitress was super sweet and attentive. One of the friendliest Asian restaurants in Palmer. The location is iffy in a motel, but once you are inside you forget about it. The family that runs this business are extremely friendly. They also swapped the shrimp in the fresh spring rolls for tofu to make it vegetarian. They use fresh tofu, which gave the dishes a nice fresh taste. The best Pho broth I have has since leaving Seattle!! Definitely made from scratch, seasoned perfectly, not oily!! Thai Iced coffee was spot on, not to sweet perfect amount of cream to coffee. Came here for the first time the other day with my girlfriend, and was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! I got the beef pho and my girlfriend got the pad thai and both were delicious. The portion sizes they give you are definitely sizeable, so be looking forward to having leftovers. Drinking the pho broth the next day is almost better than when you first order it.
