Excellent, fresh food. We got spring rolls, a California roll with soup and Panang curry and it was all great. The curry was perfect- warm, creamy, and a very large portion (I only finished half!) I really loved that they do not have MSG in their food and they had a bottle of gluten free soy sauce on the table. Bathrooms were large and clean (although no changing table). I was a little hungry when we stopped in here. The space inside is large and decorated in a fun way. The service was great and the food came out fast. I ordered the chicken satay and it was some of the best I've ever had! The pieces of chicken were large and cooked well, still juicy with a light flaky crust. The peanut sauce was spot on delicious! We had an appetizer and took our entrées to go. The crab Rangoon's were delicious. We also had some Unagi and smoked salmon sushi, delicious too. The food we got to go was also pretty amazing, Yellow curry and stir-fry noodles with chicken. Even the next night the curry was very good. There was no one else in the restaurant when we came in, but lots of to go orders. As we were leaving, only one other table came in to sit down. The restaurant was clean. Pad Thai is at the top of the list for me, the "safe food" item for testing out any Thai restaurant. But here, I always ask them to kick it up a notch on the spice. However, my order was a little off, I asked for my Vegetarian fried rice with no broccoli and with eggs, while my friend asked for no eggs and our dishes got mixed up. Ordered pad Thai, pork larb and sushi for takeout. I got a phone call from what appeared to be a personal cellphone number, which I assumed was about my order. We had a bad connection and the call kept dropping. The employee blocked the call and called me for the fourth time even though I said I was on my way. I was admittedly later than the "about 20 minutes" I was told until it would be done. I had explained that my kiddo's hair appointment was running super late and apologized. When I did arrive I was then told my whole order was being remade so it wouldn't be cold. Part of it was sushi. What?! Honestly I would have preferred to spare any waste. Regardless, I thought it was a nice gesture and typically would have never minded reheating or the wait, but I left my kiddo at the salon to do a quick pickup since my order was clearly waiting. While I waited the young guy cranked up Guns and Roses to a blaring level. Maybe they were wrapping up early for the evening (40 minutes prior to closing), but there were still diners in the restaurant. The kid helping me even said "I'm sure you're daughter will be just fine" when I asked approximately how long the wait will be (she's 9). I wish I could say food made up for the quality of customer service. Sorry to say the pad Thai is by far the worst I've ever had. It was like noodles with a ton to store bought pad Thai sauce. I could have cared less that the portion was huge. Sushi was fine and the larb was actually good. Save yourself the trouble and go to Pho Vatsana, Cafe Khao Neow (Lao), or Mekong. read more

I didn't take notes and my reviewer's chops are not great. Rest assured that I enjoyed our Sunday eveneing meal thoroughly enough to post this notice for a worthy restaurant. On order this time: Fresh Rolls Papaya Salad - generous portion - "heat" as requested - included cabbage - 10% with 90% papaya. Tom Yum Soup - shrimp or squid (2) curries - both made with coconut milk This visit was my latest for Thai restaurants - which I've enjoyed since Thai Cuisine in Anchorage ca. 1987. We all walked in hungry after a day's labor. The twenty-somethings ordered beer - all locally-bottled - each handed over his "papers" for inspection as demanded by the State Alcoholic Beverage Control Board (aka "idiots in Juneau"). For starters we shared fresh rolls ("fresh spring rolls" on the menu) and papaya salad. The fresh rolls were fairly "standard", however, the dipping sauce was distinctive - a little different from the usual. The papaya salad was also distinctive - the marinade was a little different. This was a "theme" of sorts, all dishes were seasoned in a "standard" familiar fashion, yet with a twist. This sort of thing makes taking in local "holes in the wall" an adventure - a fun one if the variations are pleasing. This one was garnished with whole peanuts - entertaining to eat using the nice lacquered chopsticks that were provided. Tom Yum Soup (a personal favorite) was generously stocked with vegetables, lemon grass, and mushrooms. I didn't try the curry. Both were consumed with gusto and little comment - a good sign. I'll be sure to try this place again - maybe have the curry to go at the end. read more

This place was the most disappointing Thai food I've ever eaten!! Not only was the food completely and utterly tasteless but they were fairly insulting when I asked for any sort of condiments. They did not know what Sambal was, I asked for fish sauce and they told me that nobody uses that for flavor other than to cook with, they finally brought me chili oil but repeatedly told me to be " Very Careful". My wife asked for a level 7 on the spiciness scale and again they looked at her as though she didn't know what she was truly ordering. When we were checking out they asked if the spice level was good my wife was very polite and said that she generally likes it a little spicier and the waitress replied thats because we only made yours a level 5 so you would understand the Thai scale a little better. The ambiance was tacky at best. The Sukiyaki was like none I've ever had (not in a good way) and the dish was so hot that I'm fairly certain it was microwaved. Very good for the Valley, a nice Thai place. I had the Pad Pa with catfish. I ordered it originally with spice level 5 and the waiter advised me to try it at level 3, which I did and it was just about right. My husband had the Pad Thai with pork. We both enjoyed our meal.
