Solid 3/5 star pho experience compared to competitors in the area. I ordered the rare steak soup, beef fried rice, and House special soup. The house special soup is your broth with a mixed collection of different meats. There was barely any tendon or couldn't say it was much of a meat variety. Wasn't sure what the cut was, but it was very dominant. The rare steak for my soup was pretty chewy & noodles in both soups were blocky. Just in chunks we had to break apart or just bite through the block. Wasn't a fan of how large the onion pieces were and it was fairly oily. The beef fried rice was actually good. Wasn't too oily or dry. Their Pepsi zero tasted very watered down. Plenty of seats to dine in, fairly quiet, and plenty of parking spaces. Service was okay. The broth didn't have as much depth or spice to it as some of the pho places I frequent on the West coast, not bad but also nothing to write home about. No basil in the fresh herbs but otherwise nice fresh veg on the side of my Pho and the green mango salad was nice. Service was friendly and efficient. They had only been open for about an hour when I ordered some shrimp fried rice online to pick up. I was about ten min away so I arrived earlier knowing it wouldn't be done when I arrived. The flavor of the pho was extremely delicious. I ordered the Seafood pho. I was expecting "seafood" for example, shrimp, fish, muscles, squid, etc. this dish came with fish balls, 4 medium sized shrimp, and imitation squid. The cost was 16.99. I tried to get him to charge me just for Shrimp pho which was 15.99 since the other ingredients was imitation meat and not that enjoyable. Also, I'm told shrimp pho comes with 8 shrimp. Probably the better bang for your buck unless you enjoy the texture of imitation squid. The menu does not tell you what comes in your pho, it would be helpful to add it. The fried shrimp was really good. The chili sauce was perfect. The restaurant was clean and orderly. If I come back, I would try more dishes instead of the pho. read more

Noticing Pho Bac was closed and craving pho on a rainy day, we stopped by Pho Augusta. Some of the same servers are at this location. The interior was a little messy but it does look nice. So I took my family to include my wife, my 4 year old daughter and my 3 month old son here to eat along with our friends and their two kids. Our friend started by asking for a spare blow to which he ask how many is needed, my wife speaks up and says two I would like one aswell and she gets ignored. Then our food comes. I have my 3 month old son in my arms I inform him as he's setting down the hot bowl in front of me was my wife's and he reply's while still holding the second bow "it'll be fine not even bothering to attest slide the bowl he just set down over and instead proceeds to place the second bowl in the wrong place, this is normally not a big deal it was the accompanying attitude. As we finish our meals my wife goes to pay. There is already a 20% gratuity added due to the size of our party. When my wife declines to give an additional tip her slams the card and walks away muttering what we heard as "rude". How are you going to demand and extra tip when your customer service was poor? Especially since tip is automatically added for party size? Most likely will not return read more

Pho: the rare steak pho tastes good, however, it is certainly overpriced for the size. BBQ Pork Fried Rice: Tastes decent. The pork is not extremely flavorful but the rice is very good. After tax and tip still looking at more than $17 for a plate of fried rice. I do not come here extremely often because the food does not warrant the price but it is not bad by any means so if you are willing to pay a little extra I would still give it 4 stars. read more

Decided to come and try this place since it finally opened recently. They do have a fair amount of outdoor seating for those of us too paranoid to eat inside anywhere (me). The inside of the restaurant is very nice. I recognized our waiter from Pho Bac and discovered this placed is owned and operated by the same people. We both ordered Thai tea, no boba here. We got the crispy pork ribs as an appetizer. They were a large portion, fresh and piping hot! I would recommend them. Then of course we got the Pho Ga (chicken soup) and made it extra spicy. Their phone number isn't currently set up, so while a bit frustrating wanting to social distance during Covid times, I understand they're still brand new and soft opening. My husband and I shared a few different items. The Vietnamese meat pies, chicken pho and a chicken curry with bread. I'm a texture person, and the Vietnamese meat pies were not for me. I couldn't eat them at all. My husband loved them. He enjoyed the flavor and the texture. He'd order it again. The chicken pho was fantastic. I enjoyed it. The broth wasn't too salty, and there was plenty of chicken. I appreciate putting everything on the side so they wouldn't get soggy on the drive home. I'd order this again. The curry chicken wasn't for me either. My husband changed which bahn mi to get at the last minute and I was more so disappointed in my husband than the curry. I was also kind of shocked the chicken was on bones and not boneless pieces. I was expecting a sandwich but it's just curry chicken with a side of bread. I didn't touch it after a few nibbles. My husband said he enjoyed the sauce. I feel it shouldn't be under the sandwich part of the menu since it technically isn't a sandwich. I still blame my husband lmao. Well give it a few weeks. Alright alright, this place needs MORE marketing. The first time I came here, I bought tofu vermicelli BUT I messed up the food by putting in TOO much of that chili oil sauce. It will ruin your food if you put 3 fork-scoops of it. Just do 1/2 fork scoop of it & you're solid. The taste: 69 out of 10. Seriously this was some of the most delicious Vietnamese food I've ever had & I've come from California telling you guys this. This is some Keith Lee worthy restaurant to review. Service: 10/10, solid employees, everyone's young & happy to serve you as long as you treat them like a human being. The restaurant ambience is definitely modern, very chill & it's weirdly welcoming & feels good to eat inside. Idk what it is but those of you who have eaten there & eaten inside, it feels good to eat in there. Do I recommend it? Absolutely. Do I wish it was opened until midnight? Most definitely. Should they add 2-3 more boba flavors? Highly recommend it so we can bring our well-behaved kids with us. My wife and I ate at Pho Augusta tonight and it was great! Coming from Atlanta, where we regularly ate Pho, we were pleasantly surprised to find this place! We had the spring rolls and egg rolls which were both delicious! The peanut sauce was great for dipping or putting on them. It did only come with two of each but worth it. The chicken Pho was delicious. The broth was well seasoned and the veggies fresh. My wife had the pork vermicelli and he said it was great! Overall, would recommend to anyone. Crispy pork belly was delicious though I am still deciding if I like the dipping sauce. Fresh spring rolls were crispy and SURPRISE, fresh. It was easy to find and parking was not an issue. I was surprised upon entering because it was actually very cute inside. Most Vietnamese restaurants I have been to have tacky mismatched decor and furniture. This restaurant was modern and retro. It had plants around the restaurant. The style was very trendy. We were seated and served immediately. There weren't too many guests in the restaurant (maybe around 10 people give or take). There were a few servers and they seemed attentive to everyone. I ordered chicken pho and fried egg rolls. I could tell this place was authentic. The food tasted how I would expect it would taste for a small town Vietnamese restaurant. The pho broth was flavorful. I enjoyed the fact that they made the chicken pho with all white meat. They gave the usual vegetable condiment plate with hoisin and sriracha sauces. I was pleased with the pho. The egg rolls were good as well. Everything came out pretty quickly. The service was good. Our waiter kept coming to refill our drinks. He was very attentive. The atmosphere felt clean, comfortable and trendy. The pricing of everything was reasonable. We spent about $35 for 2 chicken pho and 1 egg roll appetizer. One thing to note was that I normally see pho come in different bowl sizes, but at this restaurant it only came in one bowl size. And they only had one bubble tea option - Thai tea. I didn't order it, but worth noting for those interested. I will definitely return. I can't wait to try other dishes and make this my new pho spot!
