I was so excited for another Vietnamese restaurant to show up in the CSRA. Went here for a late lunch earlier this week with my friend. There is a patio area so sitting outside complies with the current GO-1 guidance for those work that on base. The waiter took our drink order but it took him like another 15mins to come back out. As I was going in to use the bathroom, another employee thought I was a new customer. I told him no but we're waiting on our waiter and ready to order. The waiter came out RUDELY said, "I just got your drink order and making it!!!" Okay man, just going in to use the restroom. What he brought out was the Vietnamese Iced Milk Coffee in a to-go. I was thinking it'll be on a traditional coffee dripper, dripping over condense milk with a glass cup of ice on the side to pour the coffee into. What my friend and I got was a to-go cup that was a bit too sweet especially for a $5 drink. I can get a better deal from a Starbucks!!! Do not order, you will be disappointed. Drop the price down and have the traditional coffee dipper (the experience makes it worth it). I can go buy a can of Cafe Du Monde coffee and condense milk for $8 and make 20+ of these at home with a traditional dripper. Next up was the Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup House Special. It smells amazing but why the broth so brown!!! It comes in one size and this one $13. I also ordered Ga Ca Ri (Vietnamese Chicken Curry) to go, love the portion of the Chicken to Curry but I wish there were potatoes...and carrots... Good enough for CRSA but the rude waiter, costly menu price and experience did not make me a repeat customer. read more

I stopped at Pho of Augusta to give it another try. This is much better than the first time. Still, the squid was kind of tough. Very chewy. The bean sprout salad was excellent. Very fresh and refreshing. I ordered the rare beef pho. There's nothing rare at all about that beef. And it was tough. Very hard to chew. The noodles are okay, but they kind of clumped together. The broth itself was mediocre. It was on the bland side. I will probably give them another try, and try their fried rice. read more

Excellent place to go. We were greeted as we entered. That had us set wherever we want. We looked over the menu since it was our first time. The service was very pleasing and our food arrived nice and hot. Depending on what you order is what you receive and the portions are extra large. You better be hungry when you arrive. We started with the crispy pork belly as an appetizer and it was soooo freaking good! I ate it before I thought about a picture lol. The rare steak and brisket pho was so flavorful. Their pho is good! I'm so glad they're located close by to where I live. They have a variety of options of pho as well as banh mi and rice dishes. There's only one size pho however, looks like a small bowl to me and is a little pricy for the size. I got their coffee also and it seemed watered down. I've been twice so far. I usually get the steak and meatball soup and summer rolls. The food is excellent, especially the summer rolls with peanut sauce. The price is pretty good!! I love that they open at 10 am for early lunches. It is convenient from Gate 1, so it's a popular military spot. But it could be a little cleaner. The floor was dirty when it opened and hard to walk on because the floor was so greasy-like. Also, the seats needed to wipe down. But still a great place to try Vietnamese food. read more

My wife and I ate at Pho Augusta tonight and it was great! Coming from Atlanta, where we regularly ate Pho, we were pleasantly surprised to find this place! We had the spring rolls and egg rolls which were both delicious! The peanut sauce was great for dipping or putting on them. It did only come with two of each but worth it. The chicken Pho was delicious. The broth was well seasoned and the veggies fresh. My wife had the pork vermicelli and he said it was great! Overall, would recommend to anyone. First of all I love how close this is to my house. Unfortunately, that could be a bad thing too lol. I really really enjoyed this place. Make sure you eat a lot though otherwise bring someone with you. The portions are hugeeee especially for the prices. Very very generous with sizes for the price you're paying. The service was okay. They could have been more attentive especially for not being as busy as they could have been for a Friday night.. they did actually get pretty busy once we were done eating so I guess we beat the rush. I was very very happy with the fried rice. It was so authentic and had an amazing taste. I also highlyyyyyy recommend the chicken wings. I love everything about Pho Augusta! The waiters and waitresses are amazing and kind, the drink selection (especially the passion fruit mojito) are exquisite and the food is beyond delicious. Asians have of a knack of not being satisfied while travelling until they get some Asian food in them. While visiting Augusta, I looked for a pho restaurant and this restaurant popped up. Apparently, this location is a sister restaurant to another vietnamese restaurant up the street, except more upscale. I personally prefer hole in the wall, mom and pop shop, when it comes to Asian food, but this place definitely hit the spot. read more

Really enjoyed the Pho. Everything we had tasted really good and the service was excellent and helpful. There are a lot of other options on the menu and I'm sure I'll be back to try it again. In all honesty this was my second visit. Came before when they first opened and was not impressed. Decided to give it another shot, everyone has a bad day. We asked for the Pho to be extra spicy and they delivered. My dish was very filling and didn't skimp on meat. As a big timer eater I was full by the time we left and the prices are really a bargain. Staff is so sweet. The Thai tea is delicious & you can get it with boba if you like. I had the shrimp pho which came with 10 good size shrimp & huge amount of noodles. Excellent Pho spot just outside the Ft. Gordon main gate. In fact it's one of the only places you can get to fast enough to have a full sit down meal if you work at Fort Gordon and be back to work by 1:00PM. It's also one of the healthiest options you have available for lunch if you work at Fort Gordon. Everything else within a reasonable drive is pretty much fast food. The restaurant is clean and updated since the last time I was there - used to be a BBQ joint. I'm glad it's a Pho joint now. The service is fast and friendly. My husband had the spicy beef, I had the tofu veggie, and we got some spring rolls. Everything was good except the tofu was fried and kind of chewy - I just picked it out and had veggie noodles and I was plenty satisfied with that. As usual with pho, the servings were a little excessive, especially for lunch. All in all, we will be back. Recommend esp for Ft. Gordon employees. Enjoyed early dinner here with my babygirl. We actually showed up close to 3 pm only to find that they close from 3-5. Very unfortunate, but not all new in the current climate of things. We came back at 5:30 and the place was packed or packed for Covid times. We were quickly seated in the last socially distanced table. I think their set up nicely to maximize their seating. We ordered pho tai with extra lime slices, spring rolls and a a few different bahn mis. All of our food was delivered nice and hot! It was also all very delicious!!! I can definitely say that we will go back. The only thing I can recommend is that they turnover their tables a little quicker. This way those waiting can be seated promptly and those wanting to leave can go. I feel like all of our tables at least 4 parties were waiting to pay and leave at the same time, but there was only one server.
