Delightful quick service format in a huge, whimsical place. Ordered my meal online because I wasn't familiar with the menu and I didn't want to hold anyone up but I needn't worry because they were an all kiosk ordering system. In a way, I like the minimal interaction with people. I got the kids meal which was a bargain if you ask me. It came with a drink and fruit for a dessert. The portion was generous so I was full despite it being for kids. The noodles in my stir fry were fantastic and had great chew. The sauce was skimpy but Lord knows I don't need more sauce. For a entrant in the fast food gulch I wholeheartedly endorse the newest candidate. Salad, rice or noodles is a good offering. I'm a miso fan so they drew me in rather simply. Mod Pizza and Chipotle have been there from the start and have the offerings to keep that going and I believe Honeygrow has a varied enough menu to stick with them. The miso noodles drew me in but oddly it was the five spice noodles that have kept me coming back. I find the menu scrumptious and varied enough not to be boring. I'm a very frequent customer and have been coming here 2-3 times a week since they opened. Recently not sure what is going on but my online order has been processed incorrectly several times as well as adding in the wrong sauce. Today I walked in there to pick up my online order and the person handling the orders she looked new because I've never seen her before. Argued with me about an order that was not even mine. I kept telling her the order had a last night that was not mine as well as a desert I did not order. She insisted that there wasent a last name when I can clearly see a last name with the letter T and a phone number that is not mine. She continue working on other orders and ignored me as if I was not standing there. Then it's when another you d lady said that's my name and took her order. No apologies by this employee. I sit back down to wait when I finally get my order I ask for a side of chili onion crunch which I've always gotten with my order and she continues to say we don't have that here not sure what you are talking about and continues to work on her orders IGNORING ME AND TOTALLY dismissing anything I was asking or telling her. It could possibly be that it's no longer on the menu, but she could have said that or she could have said that she's new and she wasn't sure about that side or she could've asked one of the people in the kitchen. It was just so dismissive and ignoring me continuing doing what she needed to do and it wasn't even busy in there for her to have ignored me the way she did and again no apologies in regards to going back-and-forth with me about an order that was not mine. I know my last name and I know my phone number and that clearly was not mine. She looked like she could be a lesbian with all the respect Member of the LGBTQ+ community. Don't know her name, but I looked no judgment. This is the only way I could describe this person. Rude no customer service skill. The place is dien down and not the same from when they opened. It was one of those meals that leaves you looking forward to your next visit. The pickup experience was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience quick and enjoyable. I'll definitely be back, and now I know why everyone leaves this place smiling. Not great, not terrible. **HOWEVER** The Hot and Sour soup, which is something I get 100% of the time I get Chinese food, is THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD! Seriously. It's obviously hand-crafted and contains fresh mushrooms and crunchy bits of celery adding great texture and it has a healthy serving of cilantro giving it tremendous flavor. I'm 51 and have been a Hot and Sour fan for 35 years or so and this one is just the best. There, I said it, I hope they keep making it many years into the future.
