Was craving some Vietnamese food after work one day and came across this place! Their food is super fresh and the staff here is very welcoming! The appetizers are super delicious and their noodle dishes have pretty good flavors as well!

When I see a cute and/or interesting biz name, I can't help myself, but to check them out. Pho Bro got my attention. I'm not sure if "Bro" stands for brother or broth. I'll have to ask them the next time I return. It is located in the Canyon Point Marketplace in Rowland Heights. It was in the late afternoon. I walked in and there was one table occupied. It's a very spacious pho place. Very clean and comfortable. Long, the owner, was very humble and hospitable. I had a nice conversation with him while I was waiting for my order. Thank you Long. I got 3 items to-go... here's our take on them. 1. Pho Ga (Chicken) - OMG, chicken broth was the B*MB! Very light and not oily... just simple clean and flavorful broth. Lots of shredded chicken that wasn't dry... quite moist. Fresh onions and herbs. Tons and I mean tons of rice noodles. I'm getting this again! 2. Pho Tai (Rare Steak) with tendon - My daughter ate this. She said it was very very delicious. Broth was amazingly savory. Tons of rare steak slices. Tendon was good. Fresh veggies. Lots of rice noodles. Another must get! 3. Shrimp Egg Rolls - These were tasty. Shrimps were good size shrimps. Wonton skin was perfectly fried and crispy. Delish! I would get this again, too. Everything was fantastic! Broth was authentic and tasty. Flavor was on point. Taste was delicious. Portion was huge. Owner and service were top-notch. I am coming back for more pho-bro-liciousness. Stay true to your pho craft, Pho Bro!

Ehhh, just a-okay. I don't think I'd return. Their vermicelli bowl was subpar - the beef was fatty and grisly, vegetables didn't taste that fresh. The only upside was the probably frozen egg rolls.

Too bad we went on a Friday during lent and we couldn't eat pork/try their egg rolls! But we ordered Pho seafood and Pho vegetables. At first we thought there was a mix up with our order because they first served a large bowl with broth and some veggies in it and then served with a plate of leafy greens and then we asked about it, good thing our server was kind enough to teach us that the leafy greens goes with the broth and we mix it together and my order of Pho seafood is still being prepared. The taste of both pho is truly exceptional, will definitely come back and order the same one again or try a new one and by then I would be able to order their egg roll, hopefully! The Thai tea is very tasty too!!

They offer comforting ambiance with friendly service, and my son endulged on his "beefy" pho noodles and gave his thumbs up. We thoroughly enjoyed their pho with tasty beef broth on a rainy day and would recommend the experience.

Nice and chill spot to go for a lunch break. I've come here a few times and there staff here are really nice. Usually, just find an open seat when you walk in. The food is here is good I personally like the Vermicelli bowls when I would come eat for lunch. Food comes out pretty quick and usually it's not to busy so it's a good restaurant to come in and chill and have good bite of Vietnamese food.

Be wary!! Their bún vermicelli with grilled beef (B2) is a HOT dish, not a cold vermicelli dish. Also the beef is not technically "grilled" as you would expect it to be. More like stir fried. The vermicelli came out piping hot and was very soggy. Their pho broth is lacking depth of flavor and is extremely oily (see picture). Tastes nothing like a good pho broth you would expect, just get mouthful of oil with every bite. It was noticeably sweet too. Their beef balls however are pretty good. Cheap prices compared to other local pho places but I don't think it's worth it. Wouldn't come back.

    The special!

I love Vietnamese pho this place has a special that combines steak, brisket, Tribe, and meatballs on the same boat so I just had to try it out and it was incredibly delicious I always like to order extra peppers, fresh sliced jalapeño peppers mixed in with the bean sprouts this is a full meal!!! This whole area is full of great places to try but you can't beat the price here! The quality is also top notch so you won't need to worry about anything. The flavor is perfect and makes me crave this stuff 24/7! Stop by, the atmosphere is so relaxing and the food will top it off perfect!!!

We ordered quite a bit for 3 people. We did well actually. Each dish came out one after another. I appreciate the quick food delivery. OMG, every single item was on point! Presentation was enticing. Deep flavors shined through at every tasty and delicious bite. Prices were astonishingly reasonable for the great portions. Staff and service was amazing. My eldest daughter dropped her chopticks. Before we can wave down the servers, the gentleman staff was already at our table with a clean pair of chopsticks. Now that's what I call service at its best. Thank you! I fell in love with the amazing food, attentive staff, exceptional service, and elegantly simple ambiance. Perfect dining experience like no other. We'll be back for more tasty goodness. Thank you MIAN! What we ordered: 1 Cold Appetizers Combo - 6 different varieties, very light and appetizing, great healthy choice! 2 Braised Pork Noodles - both my daughters swooped this bowl down fast, pork belly was tender, noodles had a bouncy texture, broth flavor was top-notch savory, SO GOOD! Highly recommend. 1 Chengdu Zajiang Noodles - I'm not a big Sichuan fan, but this dish I like. Perfectly seasoned minced pork plus fried egg and bouncy chewy noodles mixed in bold, spicy, and savory sauce. YUM! 1 Pork Dumplings (12) - huge dumplings with flavorful pork filling, best bang for your buck choice! 1 Pot Stickers (6) - good size, lightly pan-fried, wished it was a bit more pan-fried that would give it more crispiness on the outside, still a good choice! 1 Toothpick Chicken - lots of small tender chicken chunks, got a spicy kick to it, yes it comes with toothpicks for use for grabbing your chicken, loved the fun concept! 1 Steamed Egg & Minced Pork - steamed egg was very smooth and jiggly, minced pork was flavored well, perfect combo! 1 Sugar Glutinous Rice Cake (6) - nice and chewy, brown sugar was not overly sweet, highly recommend for dessert! 1 Mung Bean Soup (cold) - I can taste a light touch of mung bean, but not enough for me to say WOW, glad I tried it

Loved coming here for a late-night meal, but their new automatic tip implementation is a scam…read more The malatang is pretty consistent in flavor and spice, and I prefer the broth from here over some of the other local mala spots nearby. I order the medium spice bone broth every time, but they also have Tomato based broth as an option, which my friends really enjoy. Service is good, from order to serving, it comes out pretty fast. A downside is the quality/cleanliness of the ingredients at times. Occasionally, some ingredients that sit in water get murky (ex. Tofu) and the vegetables get wilted or start to discolor. It's the least of my worries as I continued to return and am satisfied with the taste of the food! What really lowers the rating for this place aside from the subpar quality is the automatically implemented tip in the payment system. I've been going here for the past 2 years and have never been automatically charged for tip, but the last time I went, there wasn't even an option to change or decline the tip. I didn't have the time to question the cashiers when it happened, but based on others' reviews, it confirmed for me that they have recently implemented this system. It's extremely unfair and invalid to require tip without prior informing, and I only had a party of 2 which does not hit the gratuity requirement of 5+ guests. I believe you shouldn't be required to tip a certain amount, or any amount at all, if the service is bare minimum and quite literally their job. This is self serve so that's even less of a reason to force people to tip.
