This is a decent spot for pho and the chili oil they have as part of the condiments is really good. -Pho Dac Biet: Decent. The meat toppings are high quality. The broth is not bad. -Bun Bo Hue: Underwhelming. The broth needed more flavor but adding their chili oil to it did make it taste better. The beef pieces tasted okay. Having some blood cake in bun bo hue is important imo but there wasn't any in my bowl. I guess at the end of the day this is mainly a pho restaurant, so I'd focus on just getting pho here.

Amazingly, this place has been around for a few decades, I've lived in the area for a few decades, and we're finally gotten around to eating here. Dad wanted pho after the doctor's office and we decided to try this place. Friendly greeting upon entering and was seated with menus immediately. While waiting for my dad, I ordered the banh xeo to start. I went with my usual vermicelli and dad got the special combo pho. Portions are huge! It's hard to make mine wrong, but the pho was also quite delightful with so much meat. Will definitely be back.

I had the Large Pho Dac Biet which was exceptionally delicious and a very large portion. I had to try the shredded pork spring rolls, and those were equally delicious. I always have to get Vietnamese coffee or cafe sua da which helps at the end of the meal because it's a very Carrie meal but the seating is wonderful. The environment is nice. It's an open area so it is a little bit loud but everybody's having a good time talking food still delicious and they have a bathroom. I found the service to be extremely friendly and the menu is huge, I am coming back

This is my favorite place for pho. They use ribeye for their Tai. They are also very generous with the protein, you will have meat in every bite. The broth has a deep pho flavor, some people might not like this but I prefer it this was. Their vermicelli dishes are ok too.

Great Vietnamese restaurant in the Rowland Heights Area. I got the vegetarian vermicelli bowl and it was great.

I thought I'd been to most of the Pho pace in Rowland Heights but then finally stumbled onto Pho Rowland. In my opinion, they are one of the better places in Rowland Heights (like 3-4 other Pho options). Clean interior and a good selection of Vietnamese food from Pho to Com to Bun (including bun bo hue) and appetizers like nem and banh xeo. And, they will do party trays -- party on! Check out my pics.

Pretty solid place to get Vietnamese food! I ordered the bun rieu and I personally thought the broth was a bit bland and I wish I had gotten a rice dish instead but to be fair I like when the soup is more pungent. It's great for people who are unfamiliar with that specific dish and want to try it, though! It also came with a lot of protein and the perfect amount of noodles. As for the pho, my boyfriend ordered it and he said it was really good! It was moderately busy when I went on a Sunday afternoon but we didn't have to wait for a table. The service was quick and they have a lot of options on the menu if you're feeling soupy, dry, rice, noodles, or even something else. It's located in the same plaza as a lot of other popular business (Chicha San Chen, Sun Nong Dan, etc) so it might be a bit difficult to find parking even though there are a lot of spots. Definitely worth a try!

    Tofu vegetable pho - delicious!

My friend and I visited this restaurant on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant is clean and spacious. There were a few groups eating when we entered, but it wasn't full so we were told to sit where we pleased. I called ahead to ask if they offer vegetable broth and was pleased to hear that they do. Thank you! I ordered the tofu vegetable pho. It came out fairly quickly. It was delicious and hit the spot. I was very full after finishing my bowl, which says a lot because I occasionally have to order extra noodles to feel full. My friend ordered the steak pho and she couldn't have been happier. This restaurant offers great pho and great portions at a good price. Shoutout to the employee who went above and beyond to recommend that I return and try another vegetarian option they have available on the menu, Banh Xeo - a Vietnamese crepe. I will definitely be doing so. All in all, I highly recommend this place. If you feel like anything is missing in your life, come by and try a bowl of pho. :)

My go to near work for eggrolls all day! I always order a whole tray for my company lunches or parties. Everyone loves it! Pho has gotten even better than before! Quality and service is on point for sure! They give you a number when you order by phone. Very organized. I always order my bun rieu here and also banh hoi with all the fav stuff. I love their menu it's so many options of all the popular favorites

This place was so good! I came here with a friend at 8pm on a Monday night so it was empty except for me. The place is well lit and extremely spacious. I ordered the egg rolls, a large combo pho(+beef balls), the banh xeo, and a side of grilled pork. Food came extremely fast. Those fried egg rolls are incredible. So crispy with the perfect amount of filling. The combo pho was huge with the noodles perfectly cooked and the beef not overcooked like a lot of places tend to do it. By the time the banh xeo came, I was pretty full even though I was splitting it with my friend. The shell was super crispy and there was a lot of bean sprouts in there which is the way I like my banh xeo. Definitely would recommend this place! Prices are super reasonable. I would definitely be back when I'm in the area!

My go to pho spot in the area. The eggrolls are so good. They aren't the typical eggroll paper, it's the fancy ones (: The pho portion is generous and fair for the price. The spring rolls are good. And the staff is friendly and attentive. They are accommodating and make you feel welcomed.

Don't get me wrong, their service and ambiance was great and they were very attentive and helpful but food overall was very mediocre for vietnamese cuisine. Their serving size was huge and it definitely was fulfilling but their pho broth was very bland so it was difficult to finish it all. Their rice dish on the other hand was great, but if you're named after the pho dish I was expecting more flavor and depth to the broth and even when adding sriracha and other condiments it was still too bland for my liking. This place has great potential but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go back and eat here.

Is this business permanently closed? I've come twice and called a numerous times in the past 3 weeks and the restaurant was not open or answered the phone.

It's open as of January 2021.

Fairly clean... it's not a old run down place, that's for sure.

I ordered a house special pho, egg rolls and Vietnamese hot coffee with condensed milk. I was expecting the pho comes out first as usually that's the case since the soup is ready made, pho noodle doesn't take long to cook. but the egg rolls actually came out first piping hot. I was also pleasantly surprised that I can taste some meat inside the egg rolls. Pho and coffee came about the same time. pho noodle was standard size with enough pho noodle (still too much for my taste). the beef slices do have some pink (raw) color when it was served. soup was flavorful enough. coffee was too sweet for my taste. I even asked for more coffee to dilute the sweetness but didn't help much. total bill was around $26+tips for 1 person.

Very good food, but the prices here are astronomical…read more I ordered by phone because I was driving and didn't have the ability to do it online. I was shocked when I went in to pick up that my order (a grilled pork banh mi, an order of egg rolls, and an iced coffee) was freaking $32!! I didn't get an itemized receipt, so once I got back to my car, I went to their website to look up prices. 4 egg rolls are $12.50. That's $3 per egg roll! The sandwich is $11 and the coffee is $6. The kicker is that there's a combo--sandwich and coffee--for $15. They could've saved me some money, but they chose to not to in order to make a few extra bucks. Their prerogative, but in this economy, not cool to not help out. The result: a customer who's not coming back and who's posting about it to warn others. I normally don't do this because I'm aware that mom and pops are struggling. It's also possible that the menu prices on their website are out of date and they did give me the combo price, but THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS (!!) for a sandwich (great bread and tasty but sweet pork, a little underwhelming on the fillings overall), some egg rolls (with enough lettuce for each one, as well as sauce and do chua, but also a little underfilled), and a 16 oz cup of coffee with ice and condensed milk is pretty crazy. I can get the same meal nearby for at least $5 less or find other types of food that'll feed more people for the same price.

The inside has a few booth and table seatings. I would say no more than 15 tables total. Phở Tái Sách/ Pho w/ Rare Steak and Tripe (regular): The pho bowl came with a huge size portion of noodles, soup, rare steak and tripe. On top they garnished it with green onions, cilantro and thinly sliced white onions. The meat they used is very thinly sliced and tender. The tripe was also cooked well. If you have never had tripe before I would describe it as having a super mild taste and it's mostly there to adds texture. It tastes really great too because t soaks up the broth flavor. If you like chewy noodles or mushrooms with a bit of bite, you might like tripe. The pho noodles they used are the ones I love the most. It's a thin pho noodle and they cooked them perfectly. The broth is clear, has a good depth of flavor, not overly greasy and the salt amount they added is perfect. On the side they give you a plate of other garnishes, beansprouts, chili peppers, lime, and basil which you can add to your hearts content. Spring rolls: I loved these a lot. They were very fresh and stuffed. Inside the spring roll is shrimp, sliced pork, lettuce, basil, and vermicelli. This is served with a side of peanut sauce. Loved that the sauce had chunks of peanuts for crunch. Overall: All the staff are very friendly, and the pho tastes homemade and authentic. Definitely a solid go-to when you're craving something warm and comforting. I'm so glad I found this lovely gem! I can't wait to come back again. PSA - They offer vegan pho bowls and vegetarian spring rolls and egg rolls.
