Ordered togo twice from this place. Ive gotten their beef stew (bo kho), spicy beef noodle soup (bun bo hue), and their pho tai nam (rare steak and brisket). Both times, i had to order the beef stew because its so delicious. They cook the beef so well that its tender and melts in your melt. Its not dry or tough to chew. They also give you a small french baguette to dip with your soup. Reminds me of my mom's cooking. Their bun bo hue is delicious as well. Very flavorful but i had to add a lot of chili oil to make it spicy. My bun bo hue also seemed plain as it didnt come with the typical pork blood. Just beef and i had opted for no pig feet. Their pho wasn't too bad. It was like any typical pho you'd order. Nothing special about it but can't say its bad either cause it was good. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating is because their food can be a bit salty or have too much msg because after I finish eating, I find myself drinking so much water. Simple and Sweet This place is relatively new in this plaza that is abundant with food but it's worth trying! I ordered the pho and like others have mentioned, it tastes healthier than other pho places. It's still a tasty broth though. You won't walk out of here hungry. They are generous with the meats and the noodles. My friend and I also ordered the banh mi and let me tell you, it came STACKED with meat like the pho. We also appreciated that they gave out free sodas. What a nice gesture! The owners are friendly and the establishment is clean. Not sure when these guys came into town but im glad they're here! I'm writing a review because my girl and I came here at 9:15pm and were greeted by a very friendly Vietnamese dude with an accent (so you know it's legit). Tall and slender darker fellow with good hair and a super big smile. We were worried about dining in so close to closing so we initially phoned in our order for take-out, but when we saw that other customers were still dining in we decided to have a seat. Said Vietnamese dude was very kind and made us feel welcome. This is in stark contrast to some other Pho places on the other side of town that just want you to gtfo. Easily the best service I've ever gotten at a Vietnamese restaurant and some of the friendliest service I've received, period. This spot opens till 10pm so it's pretty much the only place to get pho later in the evening in Rowland. It's also one of the few pho places that feels nice to sit in. 5/5 for ambiance. The pho broth has a hint of floral and is very tasty. The pork vermicelli is made differently here with a reddish meat instead of the regular charred one. Pork wasn't as juicy as expected, and although not terrible it's not my favorite place to get it. It's served with this delicious red spicy paste that tastes good with everything though, so definitely ask for that (it was served to us without asking). I write this review as I am eating steak pho from this establishment. This was my first time trying it and I already know I will never come back. In the instructions I requested veggies on the side and they added the veggies and mixed it with the noodles. I asked for extra slices of lemon and they did not provide it. Also the main reason why I will not be coming back is that I ordered their number 2: Pho with rare steak, and they did NOT include the steak. I'm not sure what to think about these guys. I have a couple of good visits and one bad visit. When I first tried this place out early pandemic, they had a pretty good bun bo hue and bun rieu. I was impressed with both the portion size and the flavor. But, early January 2021, they took these items off the menu. Since I had a hungry family that couldn't wait, I decided to try their pho. The portion was still large, but, it seemed like someone added too much sugar to the soup. It was like eating a pho for dessert. It was no bueno. The guy was nice and gave not only a 10% discount, but, also gave a free coke. I appreciate discounts and free stuff. But, it couldn't save the pho. Sweet pho is not my thing. The food is amazing the P.1 and the P.9 are the best along with some egg rolls you cant go wrong. I love this Pho place. This has literally been my go to place for pho since they opened. I love how they are close by and the food here taste great! The lady that works the front is super nice and every time I order, while I wait she will always ask if I would like some water to drink while I waited for my to-go order. One of the few places that opened past 8:00PM thankfully. We ended up getting home late from our road trip and I was craving something soupy and hot. We called multiple pho places (six to be exact) only to find Pho Bro to be the only one open. It was actually already on the late end (close to closing) when I called, but the man on the other end was really nice and told me that he would wait for us if we chose to order. Boyfriend and I ended ordering: regular steak pho, nem rolls, and a grilled pork rice entree. The nem roll unfortunately was incorrect and they gave us shrimp spring rolls instead. The spring rolls were okay, not a fan of the ice berg lettuce though, but I liked the sauce that it was paired with. The other two entrees was very tasty, perfect level of savoriness with great seasoning. The pork was tender and juicy, wasn't dry at all. Pick-up was quick and easy, he even gave us a free drink and our food came with a reusable bag! The only downside was the communication which resulted in the incorrect spring roll order. There was a lot of repeating going on via phone and I guess there was a mix-up of some sort because he didn't quite understand what I was saying.
