Chow mein... broccoli beef , and orange chicken.
    Abel C.

I decided to try this place out after a couple years of not coming here...The food is a lot better the portions are good . (Both still not the same as before with original owner) but that's ok ... the lady who served me just stared at me and nodded her head... I thought that was rude . She finally said hi... but she didn't look happy to be working there . Oh well Just thought I would give an update . I hope it continues to get better with taste and quality.

I've been eating here for over 30 years. I was in the area today I so decided to swing by... The interior has had a little bit of a refresh and the food is a little different than I remember but it was still so good. I couldn't decide between tangerine or spicy tangerine chicken so I got both.... I don't think the spicy one is much hotter than the regular version though. The chow mein noodles are still thick and greasy and glorious. As a kid, it was a guilty pleasure to eat a few bites of leftovers out of my container out of the fridge (yes, cold!) and honestly I'm looking forward to a few bites of cold noodles tomorrow. Chicken is saucier than I remember, but that's a good thing!

Can't believe this place is still open! I used to go here quite often when I was a kid, so that was like almost 30 years ago. Was in the area and I was craving some Chinese food so thought I might give it another shot. I was hoping they would overfill the box like those other places do at some of those other Chinese food places you see in those viral videos, but they didn't. However, it is still a good amount of food for around $14. They're at least a lot more generous with their portions than Panda Express. The rice was not that good, I should've gotten just noodles. The bbq pork was ok and the tangerine chicken was a little too hard, but had ok flavor. Looked like they had a good variety, think I'll try something else next time instead of so much meat. It did its job, filled me up, wasn't terrible. If you want enough food for two meals at a decent price, can't go wrong with Happy Wok!

Service was friendly and food was good. They definitely give bigger portions than Panda Express

The food is really good, and the orange chicken is way better than Panda Express; they call it tangerine chicken here. The ambiance is clean, and the service and staff are accommodating and hospitable.

Not the same as back in the day !! Portions are smaller and noodles don't taste the same.. $36 for 3 plates

Food is always amazing here and such an easy pick up for any day you're craving the BEST chinese food. personally love the tangerine chicken and the bbq pork but you can't go wrong with any of the choices here. And on top of that, the people here are the nicest i've met, always look forward to seeing them.

The first thing you must try here is their cream cheese beef rolls. If you love cream cheese and anything rolled in an egg roll wrapper this is for you! It's so good. I would give five stars just for this item alone. Happy Wok is located in a plaza with tons of food choices and I keep on coming here when I need something quick for dinner. I have always been a fan of fast Chinese food and this place has been my go-to place since it's on my way home. I usually order a two-item combo. Chow mein is what I always get here. Chinese fast food is the only place I would pick noodles over rice. It's just so good. I have tried different items but my favorite would be the tangerine chicken. It does come in spicy if you wanted a bit of a kick. I have also tried beef and broccoli and teriyaki chicken and both were cooked well. They do offer combos but also sell a la carte. They do family meals and catering. Service has always been so nice. Overall, come check this place out, and don't forget the cream cheese beef rolls.

Taste nothing like asian food, teriyaki tastes like rubber, saver your time saver your money.

Spicy Garlic Black Bean Chicken (so good!) and Chicken Teriyaki

If you're craving American Chinese food, this is the place to go. Panda Express no more. I honestly liked every single thing I got, so I say try them all! Chow Mein and Fried Rice are both must-orders for your base. I loved how the noodles were on the thicker side which gave it such a good chew since I'm all about texture. I'm a big fan of chicken so I ordered the Spicy Tangerine Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, and Spicy Garlic Black Bean Chicken. I'm also a big fan of spice so I was surprised that the food actually had a slight bit of a kick to it. The BBQ Pork was just alright though since I expected it to be more tender. It definitely had flavor but it was a little on the tough side. The Cream Cheese Beef Egg Roll was served fresh so the outside was so crispy and the inside was so creamy.

Although there was only one lady working in the front, she actually was able to run everything(taking the orders, clean the tables, packing the food and refill essentials/food) very well. After you placed and paid for the order, just simplely find a table, kitchen will bring the order to you, and you can start serving yourself with 4 great selection of congees (personally 八宝粥 and 小米粥 were my favorites), plus soy milk. I didn't try the side dishes this time. Surely will come back to try it out next time. They have sugar and salt on the side, so you can add according to your own taste. Neither congee nor soy was salted/sweetened, so if you prefer more flavor, definely grab a seasoning dish, and load up the sugars to your likes. They don't have cold soy milk, and don't sell fried donut(油条). That's the only complains I got. Overall, a great breakfast/lunch place.

They also offer à la carte steamed baos, wontons, and dumplings for dine-in or takeout. I didn't have much of an appetite today, so I skipped the buns and just ordered the congee and appetizers. My bill came out to only $5.50 plus tax, which is ridiculously cheap! For the congee, the options were Century Egg & Lean Pork, Eight Treasure, Millet, and Hulatang (Spicy Pepper Soup). I tried the Century Egg & Lean Pork congee, but the texture was a bit watery, and the flavor was somewhat bland. The Hulatang (hot pepper soup) was a little too thick and jelly-like. While the Millet congee was also on the bland side, I actually really enjoyed the texture. I skipped the Eight Treasure congee this time. Honestly, at $3 for all-you-can-eat congee, it sounds too good to be true, so I didn't have high expectations for the quality. However, I really liked the cold side dishes bar! They had all my favorites, including Liángbàn Tǔdòusī (shredded potato salad), shredded wood ear mushroom salad, and spicy cucumber salad. I will definitely go back next time to try their dumplings, wontons, and baozi.

These seem simple and healthy since you can taste each ingredient - little to no salt other than from the hot dogs/sauces/cracker/chili oil used to make it spicy. My husband and I came by to try their jianbing a few Sundays ago. We were lucky to find parking right on the same curb, in front of this vendor. When we arrived around 12:53 pm, we had 2 parties ahead of us. After ordering, it took a little less than 15 minutes for our order. We only ordered 1 Chinese crepe to share since it is pretty big. There were 2 chairs to sit with a large outdoor umbrella to provide shade, so we sat down and ate our crepe (although most people who ordered their crepes usually just walked away. But it is highly recommended to eat their purchase within 10 minutes, according to their sign (and I agree, or the crepe will get soggy and all that hard effort to make the crepe would seem to be wasted). The crepe (or jianbing) itself is made with 2 eggs, beef hot dog (we were asked if we wanted everything. You can have the beef hot dog omitted if you are vegetarian), hoisen sauce, chili oil, mung beans, black sesame seeds and a large crispy cracker that is cut in half. The cracker is the best part because of the texture. This crepe was really good and very filling. I did ask if the young woman making our crepe to use very little chili oil since I am not a spicy eater (if my husband had ordered a separate one, then he would have asked for a lot more chili oil though). I don't have jianbing often since there are very few places that make them (the last time I had one was at the T &T Market in Canada last year actually and I love their jianbing) but this one was pretty good and I definitely see myself coming back. The price for this large crepe was only $10 (cash or you can also pay via Zelle). The person who was working the day we visited (based on other fellow Yelp member reviews and photos, it looks like it could be 1 of 4 people.... a young lady, a young man, an older woman and an older man) was able to speak in both Mandarin and English so you shouldn't have an issue trying to order.
