The food here is horrible. Ordered the grilled pork ribs and it came on a dirty plate. Was way too salty and peppered. Honestly it didn't even seen grilled, rather it looked pan fried. The rice also had hard clumps in it, like when it's too old. Everything including the pho also came cold-lukewarm. The food is Just not very good - 2 stars is for the nice lady but nothing is authentic about it. Flavors are a little strange not your expectation of Vietnamese flavor. Ordered grilled pork with vermicelli and it was just bad....the pork had a strange smell to it and it's red in color - too much food coloring for me. No traditional mint leaves that suppose to go with this dish - maybe slivers of it which you cannot taste at all but it's there- barely mixed in a lot of shredded lettuce, which is just strange. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls and pork rolls and it was made the same way - no mint leaves or lack of, just a lot of shredded lettuce thinly sliced meat and a mouthful of lettuce. The hoisin dipping sauce was watery and had a strange flavor to it. Their dipping fish sauce also had a strong odor to it - it stayed on my hands for while and not to mention I was dying of thirst afterwards. We didn't even finish half of our dinner that we paid $62 for - we just couldn't eat another bite. It was wasteful but we had to throw it all out. I am afraid they won't last too long, because if you're serving up Vietnamese food in the area, it needs to be good and authentic because the area is a huge food hub so the expectation is high. When you order Vietnamese, you expect loads of fresh & variety of mint leaves and fresh vegetables - you cannot and should not skimmed on that. I see so many VN restaurants come and go in the area, because you need to really bring something authentic and good to the area to survive. read more

Since Doordash won't let me leave a review and dramatically inflates their reviews, I'm leaving one here. I ordered for the first time the other day and it was a disaster.. the order was delivered to my neighbors house, the spring rolls were all busted up and didn't taste good at all, especially with the weird sauce they give you. My pho broth had no flavor and was one of the worst ones I've had in a long time. I wish I took pictures to show how insane the food presentation was instead of throwing it away 2 hours after I found the neighbor the food was delivered to. This should really be a 1 star review. Do yourself a favor and go to Golden noodle and grill down the street from this place, they have much better/fresher food trust me. Only downside is they're not on any delivery apps but it's worth picking it up. read more

PHO BRO?! With such a name I had to check this place out. Apparently they have new owners so the recipes and inside have changed from the old place. This restaurant has what I would call a "healthy" broth. It is very light and lacks flavor. I don't know about you but i'm all about the broth so I was a little disappointed in this place. My pho, a large, felt skimpy on the meat and their Vietnamese ice coffee is the worst I've ever had. It tasted like it came from a mix and had a really weird after taste. Decided to try this place out because the name seemed cool! Pretty big portions. I ordered off Uber East and had no problems with my order. Broth was a little light, but adding sriracha made it much much better. Only thing that wasn't as good for me were the egg rolls! Decent size, but the taste and texture were just ok. I've since ordered 2 more times since my first review (yes, that's how much I liked it) but last time I ordered a bbq pork rice dish and it's suppose to come with a small side of pho soup as pictured in the take out menu but we didn't get it. The second time I ordered, we saw that the worker up front didn't wear a mask which leads me To believe that other people in the back are not wearing masks. What drew me to this spot tonight was how late they stayed open. This is one of the few Pho spots around the Hacienda/Rowland area that stays open an extra hour past 9! It was my first time, and I decided to order for pickup. I got the Pho Special, which is their combination soup that has a variety of meats included, priced at about a dollar more than the rest of the pho choices. Once I got there, I was surprised by how clean the restaurant looked compared to what I have come to expect from Pho restaurants in LA. The two guys who I assume run the place were very friendly, and I was even given a complimentary drink, which was absolutely delicious and made me feel very welcome. I wish I asked what it was. Food was packaged with care and the portions were on the generous side for a to-go order. They didn't miss a single condiment or side veggie, of which there was plenty packed in the bag. The soup was pretty good, maybe just a little bit more oily than I usually like, but perhaps this could be because I came in during the last hour of the day. Regardless; the soup definitely held its own flavor and was delicious. I liked how much meat was put into my pho. I definitely recommend this spot! read more

Like many other reviews, I did not enjoy the food from here. It was a struggle ordering the food in English over the phone, which is fine if the food is good. Thankfully I had someone who could help me order in Vietnamese. I ordered half spring roll and half pork sausage spring roll. They were a great disappointment since they were filled mostly with veggies. It was essentially an expensive rolled up salad in rice paper. This review is for take-out orders amidst the lockdown. I ordered pho with rare steak and tendon as well as the pork springrolls. You can tell they really care about the quality of food here. The pho broth was amazing. It tasted clean yet deep with a perfect balance of spices. The noodles came perfectly cooked. That is, they didn't overcook it to the point where the noodles never properly come apart in the broth. They also gave a generous portion of tendon and rare steak. Also, when i asked for extra lime, they really delivered and i was more than satisfied. Lastly, they even packaged the food in a nice way, laying the pieces of tendon nicely on a bed of noodles.
